For most of you, the PLE has taken place. Here in Australia, it was live at 2:30 am Sunday morning. I am getting ready to watch the recording of the show.

**MATCH 1 — Cody Rhodes vs A.J. Styles in an “I Quit Match” — This is going to be nasty, to say the least. I have seen a couple of highlights, but not the whole match. (this was the first I Quit match that Cody has taken part in) A.J. has been in 4 “I Quit matches in different promotions, winning all 4. (the first one took place in 1985) This is a match where all the rules get broken. With stairsteps in hand, A.J. screamed those words to end the match. Cody had company, Bloodline was out to go after Cody, but help would arrive in the form of Randy Orton/Kevin Owens
**MATCH 2 — In a triple threat match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill would defend against Alba Fire/Isla Dawn (hometown team) along with Zoey Stark/Shayna Baszler. This is another match that would go anyway, Bianca/Jade does not have to be pinned to lose the titles. In the back of my head, I thought, wondering if this might be the match, Triple H would choose for a title change in the home country. Sure enough, don’t blink or you will miss things — Your new Women’s Tag Champs are Isla Dawn/Alba Fire. (I love how Jade/Bianca are dressed similarly but in their own style, with similar colours) (with the girls winning it made people wonder if Drew would get screwed)

**MATCH 3 — The Inttercontentional Championship belt is on the line as Sami Zayne faces Chad Gable. (Otis/Maxine are with Chad but will that help Chad or will they finally break free?) Maxine has a moon boot on but I am unsure if it’s a storyline or an actual injury. (Chad has confirmed that he has signed a new contract with WWE.) Maxine has some great facial expressions. Chad tried to get Maxine to hit Sami with the belt and she refused. Once again Otis carried off Maxine after getting hurt by Chad. It was enough for Sami to set up for the helluva kick, getting the pin. Still your I.C. champ — Sami Zayn. Sami just motioned to Chad that was his last chance.
**MATCH 4 — Smackdown Women title on the line with Bayley facing Piper Niven/Chelsea Green is in her corner. Chelsea Green is known for sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong. How long before she gets tossed out. Nick Charles just tossed Chelsea for putting her hands on him. Chelsea just showed up in a Lucha mask. I have no clue how Bayley stayed with all that Piper dished out. Piper Niven was amazing, really got to see what she has in her arsenal, and that she can hold her own with those ladies at the top of the Women’s division. Bayley keeps the title. Bayley acknowledged Piper in a sign of respect.
***Money in the Bank is on Saturday, July 6 in Toronto, Canada. Qualifying matches start this coming week on RAW
**MATCH 5 — Damien Priest put the World title on the line against Drew McIntyre. Will he win is the interesting question? (there are rumours that CM Punk has been spotted in Scotland. Would this be possible for a fued set up heading to Summerslam? ) It was a good match, Damin/Drew each had their moments to have a lead in the match. It was great that Judgement Day was banned from ringside. Damien is a strong wrestler, I started watching him in NXT and could see that he will do well on the main roster. Once the Ref was bumped out of the way, it was the set-up for CM Punk to arrive in the ring, the camera angle of hiding the Ref until the last minute was a great choice. Creative has done a great job building this feud. I can see this match between Punk/Drew at Summerslam. The Universe was not happy that Drew got screwed.
