The final qualifying matches for the ladder match for the NXT Men’s Title have Joe Hendry facing Jackson Drake. The local Hero is the favourite, but Drake (Evolve Champion) would love to make a huge statement. (My pick is Joe)
Andre Chase vs. Keanu Carver: Chase U needs this win, but Carver has been on a tear with a “nasty attitude” lately. I like Chase, but he is going to struggle in this one, I think. Chase did not stand a chance. Carver with a strong win. I see a lot of a young Oba Femi in him.
**MATCH 3 – Myles Borne vs. Dion Lennox: Borne is out to prove he belongs in the main event scene. Myles has come a long way; you can see how much he has improved. I think this will be the match to watch, fingers crossed, Myles can pull this off. Oh no, Ethan Page is out trying to get Myles to cheat, thanks to Ethan, Dion Lennox is on the way to the Ladder match. Myles decked Ethan.
**MATCH 1 – NXT Tag Team Titles: DarkState (Osiris Griffin & Saquon Shugars) defend against OTM. This is going to be a battle of strength, with whoever can capitalise on one mistake getting the win. Thanks to Vanity Project, Dark State retains. The Culling was waiting in the wings; they are coming after the Men’s Tag Titles, also.
**MATCH 2 – Nikkita Lyons is definitely leaning into a new, darker chapter on NXT following her return from injury. After losing to Kelani Jordan on the October 29 episode, she was revealed as the mystery attacker who took out Adrianna Rizzo. Her character has moved away from the “peace and love” vibe and toward a more aggressive, “lone wolf” persona. She recently told fans who were questioning her new attitude that they “need to chill out and go touch grass”. In a singles match with Jaida Parker. Jaida is showing that she is ready to go, taking names and kicking booty.
Lexis King is in a grudge match against Tavion Heights. Lexis King with the win. Lexis, hanging out with Stacks and Ariana Grace.
Zaria in singles action against Thea Hail. Izzi Dame is at ringside. Thanks to a little help from Tatum Paxley, Thea manages the win.
