“I have to be honest with you all—between the technical updates on the blog and a morning spent at the hospital for scans, I’m coming to this NXT fallout a little later than usual. But you know me; I couldn’t let the week go by without diving into the chaos. Better late than never, especially when the landscape of NXT just shifted under our feet!”

***The NXT Tag Team Championship match on February 24, 2026, was the definition of a “New Era” shocker. While DarkState (Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars) had the strength advantage, The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) stayed in the fight until the landscape completely shifted.

The “Don’s” Strategic Strike — The Interference: Tony D’Angelo appeared out of nowhere to help the Project, delivering a brutal spinebuster on the apron to Saquon Shugars while the referee was distracted. Delivering on a Promise: Tony had previously put DarkState on notice, stating his recent return wasn’t about vengeance but “punishment” for them. The Result: The Vanity Project capitalised on the chaos to pin the champions and secure their first reign with the NXT Tag Team titles.

With Tony’s actions today, he has effectively chosen the new leaders of the Men’s Tag division. The Vanity Project has all the momentum heading to Vengeance Day. leaving Dark State looking over the shoulder for “The Don”

***Keanu Carver is facing Sean Legacy in singles action. Sean has the speed, but it’s Carver’s strength that will get him over in the end. Carver reminds me so much of Oba. Even though Legacy lost, commentators are calling it a “dominant showing” for Carver that cements him as a future title contender. You can frame this in your blog as the struggle between raw power (Carver) and pure heart (Legacy). The “Bulldozer” Approach: Keanu Carver continues to crush anyone in his path, showing zero remorse as he uses his massive size to “no sell” Legacy’s offence early on. The Legacy Rally: Despite the beating, Sean Legacy showed why he’s a “plucky babyface,” nearly stealing the win with a 450 splash that forced a very close two-count. The Pounce Finish: The end came when Carver caught Legacy with a massive Monty Brown Pounce, followed by a modified Jackhammer to end the match in just over 4 minutes. It’s going to be interesting to see Carver face off against some of the bigger guys. Carver needs a real challenger.

***Its the Speed title up for grabs in the first triple threat match between Elio LeFleur, Eli Knight, and Jasper Troy. This is a sprint as they are only 7 minutes on the clock. Elio/Eli are going to need to work together to try to take out Troy if they even want a chance at the title. The “French Luchador” Steal: In a wild finishing sequence, LeFleur hit a spectacular tilt-a-whirl crucifix on Troy. The way to win this match was to think on the fly, which is what Elio LeFleur did. Right as Eli Knight landed a dazzling moonsault, LeFleur scrambled into the cover to get the 1-2-3! Jasper held the title for 100 days.

***Sol Ruca is facing off against Jacey Jade for the Women’s NXT title. This match lasted 7 seconds as it was Zaria who took out Sol, ending their friendship. (Rumours are that Sol will be in Chicago this weekend for the Chamber. She is also getting a small repackage along with a new theme song. Jacey holds on to the title thanks to Zaria. Later on, in the back, Zaira demands a title shot, which she gets. They need to put the belt on Zaria and move Jacey up to WWE. It’s going to be a crap move if they dont. Zaria is treading water, and it’s time to do something with her. Take apart Fatal Influence, Fallon Henley has been a #2 for a while, time to see if she can carry things on her own.

***Tatum Paxley cutting a promo for her match against Izzi Dame at Vengance Day

***Blake Monroe is facing off against Thea Hail in the Speed Championship. 3-minute time limit. Thank you, Jaida Parker, for the assist to Thea for the win.

***Kale Dixon in singles action against Uriah Connors. Dixion has been joined by Andre Chase. Connor has “The Birthright” faction, including Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and Arianna Grace, in his corner. Connors gained momentum by countering Dixon’s offensive moves, eventually hitting a pair of stunners for a near fall. The match ended when Connors blocked a top-rope moonsault attempt and followed up with a running knee strike to secure the victory in four minutes and thirty seconds.

***MAIN EVENT — Ethan Page defending the North American Title against Myles Born. Myles is targeting the ankle that he damaged in the chair last week. Same Ankle that Ethan said he would never have the nerve to do, well, Myles did. You know the Vanity Project will come out to help Ethan. Vanity did arrive, but so did Hank, Tank and Shiloh Hill to take them out. (They will meet in a 6-man tag match next week.) Ricky Saints also tried to interfeer but Joe Hendry took care of him. Thanks to a turnbuckle that was uncovered thanks to Saints, Myles gets the pin for the long-awaited win.

****From Twitter to the Screen.

“I have to give a shoutout to the NXT social team. They’ve been featuring my tweets lately—one supporting Shiloh Hill’s breakout ladder match and another about the massive pop for Jaida Parker. It just goes to show that the ‘Sox Sorority’ voice is being heard in the loud world of WWE!”
