Survivor Series: War Games

The last WWE special for the year is Saturday Night’s Main Event taking place in New York.

The first Pay-per-view 2025 is New Year’s Evil for NXT. The date still needs to be confirmed.

The WWE’s first pay-per-view of 2025 will be Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.

Happy 37th Birthday to Naomi.

**The Opening Match is the Women’s War Games match featuring Rhea Ripley. Team Rhea, consisting of Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, Naomi, Bayley, and Rhea herself, faces Team Liv, which includes Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LaRae. Rhea’s team has the advantage going into this match

The match begins with Bayley making her way to the ring, followed by Nia, who is representing Team Liv. Naomi is entering the ring for her first War Games match, while Tiffany Stratton is eager to join but is held back by Candice. Bianca joins the action in the cage next. Tiffany is finally on her way to the ring. Iyo Sky exits next, bringing a trash can with her. Raquel is making her third appearance in War Games. Rhea enters the ring, leaving Liv as the last entrant. Liv comes out armed with a baseball bat, aiming to use it against Rhea. As Iyo sprays the fire extinguisher, Rhea manages to handcuff Raquel to the ring. Rhea then delivers a Riptide to Liv Morgan, putting her through a table and securing the victory for her team.

**MATCH 2 — The United States Championship was at stake as L.A. Knight defended his title against Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura made a triumphant return with a complete rebranding that is quite intimidating. He successfully got inside Knight’s head, disrupting his game plan. I was hoping for a better match from Knight, but ultimately, this was the one title change, with Shinsuke coming out on top (and there was no black mist involved). I’m not entirely sure why the title changed hands, but I’ll be waiting to see what’s next for Knight after this defeat.

**MATCH 3 — Triple Threat Match for the Intercontentional Title between Braun Brekker, Sheamus, Ludwig Kaiser and Braun Brekker. This match could have gone anyway. With triple threats, anything and everything is legal. Each has their own moments in the spotlight. With the devastating spear taking out Sheamus, Braun is successful in the title defence. I.M.O I can’t see Sheamus being around too much longer, within the next 5 years to retire.

**MATCH 4 — Damien Priest faced Gunther in a title match. Gunther has been off his game lately and is starting to question himself. Damien has been pushing him into unfamiliar territory. The match was solid, and I didn’t expect a title change to happen this time. However, Finn Balor interfered to ensure that Damien lost the match. I feel like this sets the stage for a feud between Damien and Finn. To be honest, Judgment Day is getting stale and needs a fresh start; they’re becoming boring.

**MATCH 5 — Men’s War Games Match**

I have a feeling that this storyline is not over with by a long shot.

Final Shows before Survivor Series: War Games

**Jade Cargill is off right now due to an actual injury. Not sure how long she will be away. No idea yet as to what will happen to the Women’s Tag Titles. Just read that her actual injury is more serious. It’s her neck, the best case is Jade is back in 3 months, worst case is over a year. Watch the space.

**A few of the last shows of the year are pre-recorded so that everyone can get off the road for the holidays.

**I hear chatter that a Women’s Intercontentional title is in the works.

The main event will be the Men’s War Games match featuring CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns battling against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed.

The Women’s War Game match features Team Ripley, with Rhea, Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, and Naomi (spoiler). Bayley was named the fifth. Team Morgan has Liv, Raquel, Candice LeRae, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax

Another confirmed match is World Heavyweight Champion Gunther facing Damien Priest. The last time this match took place, it was Finn Balor who threw a monkey wrench into the mix, costing Damien the title.

There is still room on the card to add matches.

**RAW

Gunther is opening the show who is in the ring for an interview with Jackie Redmond. Jackie waits for an answer to her question when Damien walks out.

Just added to the Survivor Series Card is a triple threat match for the Intercontentional title between, Sheamus, Ludwig Kaiser and Braun Breakker.

RAW Men’s Tag Team Titles are on the line with Finn and J.D. against the War Raiders. Needless to say, they still can’t defend the titles without help. It’s getting old and very boring. Can someone please blow up the Judgement Day?

Also added to the card is L.A. Knight defending the United States title against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Adam Pearce has announced the Women now have their own Intercontentional Title on RAW with the tournament starting next week.

Bianca Belair versus Nia Jax with the winner getting the advantage in the War Games match. It looked like Nia would take it out but with a little help from Bayley, Bianca with the win.

**Smackdown Live

A recap of last week’s show including the return of Paul Heyman.

Bayley has joined Rhea, Bianca, Iyo, and Naomi to take on the Morgan team. Liv and her crew showed up, but as we knew, it broke down with all the trash talk.

Andrade is taking on Shinsuke Nakamura. Andrade is unhappy that Shinsuke jumped the line to get a title shot against L.A. Knight.

Cody in a match against Carmelo Hayes. I never liked him in NXT, and that has not changed now. Hayes is nowhere near ready to hold a major title and be the face of the company.

Roman had a sit-down with CM Punk. Paul Heyman moderating the meeting. Punk is doing this for Heyman. They finally came to an agreement that for one night they would put things aside to win War Games

Piper Niven, Michin and Lash Legend (replacing Jade Cargill) in a qualifying match for the Women’s United States Title. Michin won. B-Fab took care of Chelsea Green who was at ringside.

The Main Event would see Jey Uso facing Jacob Fatu for the advantage right in War Games. Everyone was banned from ringside. You could see that it would be a one-sided match with Jacob getting the win when all is said and done.

Crown Jewel 2024

I forgot about the triple threat match for the United States Title currently held by L.A. Knight. Andrade and Carmelo Hayes also took part.

It has been interesting watching the behind-the-scenes show and hearing some of what they had to go through to get permission to bring the ladies. The first show was Natalya facing Lacey Evans. Tonight there are 10 ladies involved in the show.

Mike Rome doing the announcing

The Crown Jewel belts will stay in Riyadh but the winners will be gifted a ring. It looks as big as the Super Bowl rings.

(I have seen the results but not watched the show until the writing of this blog)

**Opening match — Solo Sokia, his Bloodline facing Roman Reigns. The Uso’s. Roman has entered with Jimmy, waiting for Jay Uso, (entering through the crowd. Even Cole is yeeting) It has taken a bit but Roman is finally in the ring facing Solo. Well, I figured that the ref would get pulled into it, which he was. 2 spikes took out Roman for Solo to get the win. (Hopefully now Roman realizes that they need more help along with Jimmy and Jey. The odds need to be evened up, somehow. Trying to put Roman through a table. They won’t stop until taking Roman out. Here comes Sami Zayn to the ring. Not sure what this is all about. (Jey is sitting with a chair around his neck, Solo trying to take him out) Solo got out of the way of that spear but Roman took it, It was not Sami’s intention to hit Roman. Sami was just trying to help. I hated seeing Roman pinned but if this is setting up War Games then so be it.

**MATCH 2 — Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the line as Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defend against Damage Control, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. 2 ladies in the ring at any time and you can tag in whoever you want. (Daphanie LaShaunn is the female ref in this match) It’s always insane in a fatal 4-way. Bianca pinned Piper Niven with an assist from Jade Cargill. Bianca and Jade retain their titles. Huge credit to Lash and Jakara, they may not won but they have gotten a heap of experience under their belt.

**ROYAL RUMBLE on February 1

**MATCH 3 — Seth Rollins facing Bronson Reed in a war. This was not going to be pretty in any respect of the word. The ref had to give a lot of leeway to this match, It almost turned into a last-man standing combined with a street fight. It was a good 10 minutes before the match actually got started. It was tough but Seth got the win. Bronson has speed and can move well off the top ropes. Most Men that size are not able to do what Bronson can.

**MATCH 4 — Nia Jax versus Liv Morgan for the first Women’s Crown Jewel champion. I wanted Nia to win this but knowing that Dom and Raquel would lurk in the shadows gave Liv the edge. Tiffany Straton bolting to ringside, to cash in her briefcase but against who was never answered. Tiff tried to cash in a second time but Raquel stopped her. Dom finally showed up and gave the assist to Raquel and Dom. Typical Judgement Day crap again.

**MATCH 5 — Kevin Owens facing Randy Orton. This match never officially got started as things turned into an all-out brawl. The chatter I have been reading is that Kevin is turning heel. At this point, Kevin is not scheduled for a match at Survivor Series but I have read that a match between Cody and Kevin could take place.

**MATCH 6 — Triple Threat Match with L.A. Knight defending his United States title against Carmelo Hayes and Andrade. Most of the match was Hayes and Andrade going at it with the occasional spots of Knight getting stuck into both of them. Everyone had moments controlling the match but in the end, it was L.A.Knight standing tall keeping his belt.

**MATCH 7 — Cody Rhodes versus Gunther for the Men’s Crown Jewel Title. (Cody eliminated Gunther from the 2023 and 2024 Royal Rumbles) Gunther came to the match, with the attitude that he had this match in the bag. That is so much better than Cody, it was just a formality. Things started out slow but they finally found their rhythm. Gunther still looks awkward going to the top rope but he is getting more comfortable. In the end, it was Cody Rhodes with the win. I was hoping that Cody would take this. I am not a fan of Gunther. I was worried that Ludwig would interfere but glad he didn’t.

The Crown Jewel belt has 3,273 embedded stones, 50 carats of Diamonds and 250 Carat weight. All emeralds are Australian Crystals.

My Thoughts on Crown Jewel

This is always an interesting show. Putting my thoughts out there on the card.

**Cody Rhodes versus Gunther for the Men’s Crown Jewel Title. This should be an interesting match. Gunther has barely been in the ring of late but Cody has been defending the belt, taking part in matches. Can Ludwig stay out of the match is my question? Randy Orton came to Cody’s rescue as Ludwig and Gunther tried to get in Cody’s head. **My pick is Cody Rhodes

**The Women’s Crown Jewel title between Nia Jax and Liv Morgan. I am not a fan of either of them but on this one I need Nia to win. Liv once again, injured Rhea and got her out of the way to keep her belt as long as possible. Liv has Raquel and Dom to help her but I wonder if they will let them interfere or will this be a legitimate match. **My pick is Nia Jax

** The Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the line in a triple threat match with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair defending against Damage Control, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. This is one of those matches that if you blink you will miss something. The chatter is that Lash and Jakara are heading to the main roster, They need some new blood in the Ladies Tag Team division. **My pick is Jade and Bianca will continue as title holders.

**The O.T.C (Roman, Jimmy, Jey) facing Solo Sokia along with Tama, Tonga Loa. (not sure if Jacob will be able to travel due to his police record) This is setting up for Survivor Series: War Games. I am kinda hoping that Paul Heyman returns sooner rather than later. This is another match that anything can happen. **My picks are Roman, Jimmy and Jey

** Seth Rollins versus Bronson Reed. Bronson outweighed Seth by at least 40 pounds. This match will not be pretty, by any means. Seth is going to need to be quick, and try and take Bronson out at the knees. I hope this won’t get out of hand but it could. Wondering if Seth has any new tricks up his sleeve. **My pick is Seth but won’t be surprised if Bronson wins.

**Randy Orton facing Kevin Owens. Kevin plays a good heel, and so does Randy but I like Randy as a baby face. I know with Randy’s back he has to be careful, you can see when you watch him work that he has had to make major adjustments since his return. Kevin plays a heel so well. The storyline between Kevin and Roman has not been addressed and I think would make a good side story, finding a way to end it. **My pick is Randy but I can also see Kevin getting the win.

**Other notes

Rhea Ripley is out for an undisclosed amount of time. She has a cracked eye socket. The chatter is that it happened when she headbutted Liv. I can see Rhea winning the Royal Rumble to go after Liv, getting the title back at Wrestlemania.

It puts a break in the story with her and Liv for the title. It’s a good time to develop a storyline between Raquel and Liv, would like to see that storyline include Dom. I don’t know about anyone else but I am getting bored with Judgement Day, I think it has served its purpose, it’s time to dissolve the group. The tag titles need to be put on teams that will defend them regularly. Finn still being pissed at Damien, needing revenge is old. More chatter is that Carlito is on his way out of the group.

Catch up at Crown Jewel

WWE Notes, RAW, NXT and Smackdown

Sam Irvin has departed WWE. She is hoping to take on some new projects. Lillian Garcia has returned as RAW announcer.

**RAW — Storylines are setting up for Crown Jewel in a couple of weeks. The matches for the Crown Jewel belt should be interesting. As you know, I am no Nia Jax fan, but I hope that she knocks Liv Morgan out. However, Dom and Raquel’s possible interference could cause issues.

I am looking forward to the match between Gunther and Cody Rhodes. I think it’s an even match.

Jey Uso lost the Intercontentional Title back to Braun Brekker. This is the storyline getting Jey back into the Bloodline storyline. I can see this as the War Games match for the Survivor Series. I would love to see the Survivor Series return to brand-versus-brand matches. Those were the most fun, in my opinion.

**NXT

The show featured the Ladies of the NXT Lockerroom. It was an amazing show to be able to see how the ladies were able to carry the whole two hours. The only men in the arena were Trick Williams/Ethan Page. It was a good promo for once without punches being thrown. Halloween Havoic should be good this year. The storylines have been set up well. Not sure how many belts will be changing hands but there will also be some real grudge matches.

**SMACKDOWN

Randy Orton called out Triple H, demanding a match with Kevin Owens. Randy kept saying that H was protecting Kevin, but H said he was protecting Randy. All Randy wanted was Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel. It took a bit but Triple H finally agreed to the match.

Andrade facing Carmelo Hayes in their best-of-7 series with L.A. Knight as the ref. It ended as a draw when Knight got involved. It’s now a triple threat at Crown Jewel.

Cody vs. Gunther at Crown Jewel will be an interesting match. Gunther has barely defended his belt, while Cody has defended his title on many occasions. (I.M.O Guther has gotten a little too full of himself and needs to be knocked down a few pegs)

The Women’s Tag Titles currently held by Jade Cargill/Bianca Belair will be defended at Crown Jewel in a triple threat with Damage Control, Chelsea Green/Piper Nivin and Lash/Jakara from NXT

Motor City Machine Guns (Alex and Chris) vs Bloodline for the tag titles. It gets ugly but with a little help from Jey/Jimmy, the boys take the titles from Bloodline. Call it payback when Jey lost the Intercontentional Title thanks to the Bloodline. Just as Solo/Jacob going after Jimmy, Roman to the rescue. Jey Uso showed up to help make sure that Alex and Chris won the titles. The question of the moment was, would Jimmy and Jey finally come back together, but would Roman be OK with it. Jimmy has told Roman that they need help and that they can no longer do it on their own. Roman watched the reunion from the top of the run.

Bad Blood 2024

**I was not able to cover Smackdown for the blog, but I did see the show. A.J. Styles has a possible ankle injury. I was not happy with Bloodline keeping the tag belts. (They just get them sorted out, active again, then they put them on a team that won’t defend them as they should be. I understand that they are setting up tiffany Stratton case cash in on Nia Jax. I would love to see Charlotte return once the belt is on Tiffany. I think that match would be a classic

With 2 pay per views to go, Crown Jewel and Survivor Series: War Games.

Got a thought, waiting for Charlotte to return, how about her retuning at Royal Rumble?

Taking place in Atlanta, Georgia.

This will get nasty tonight and that is being at best way I can describe this.

Corey and Michael at the announcer’s desk with Sami announcing for the evening.

**MATCH 1 — Hell in a Cell. Drew McIntyre facing C.M.Punk. I am not even going to try and describe it for you. By the end of the match both of them were, bloody and just exhausted. the match is one of those that you use whatever is there, tools, tables, chairs, anything you find under the ring is fair game. The only reason for the ref is to count 3.

**MATCH 2 — Women’s Smackdown Title as Bayley goes against Nia Jax. Tiffany Stratton is around with the M.I.T.B case. (rumor is they are setting up Tiffy for a cash in against Nia) It has been mostly Nia in control, but Bayley has had her moments. tiffany out to try and help Nia but Jess getting taken out for the most obvious reasons. Nia still has the belt thanks to Tiffy.

**MATCH 3 — Damien Priest in a war with Finn Balor. This match is going to be tough and neither will be holding back, there is so much animosity between these two. Getting bored with this version of Judgement Day. (Why do Finn/J.D. still have the tag belts. I think I read they have had them for 100 days but only 1 defense, stealing the win to keep the belts. (Damien has to get this win, they have allowed Finn to get the upper hand way more than needed) Of course, Carlito and J.D. showed up just as Damien was about to win the match. As much as J.D. and Carlito tried to help, Damien in the end finally got the win.

***Triple H is in the ring. He has a major announcement coming. 16,092 in attendance tonight. (Largest gate in WWE history) 4 weeks is Crown Jewel. Annual event will take place at Crown Jewel, Both the Men’s and Women’s singles title holders will face off in a match BUT no titles (Raw Men’s and Women’s title holders facing the Smackdown Singles title holders), BUT no titles are on the line but there will be a winner, 2024 Crown Jewel Champion. WOW, you should see the belt. Here comes Gunther. Chatting with Triple H. (Gunter doing his normal running his mouth)

**MATCH 4 — Rhea Ripley facing Liv Morgan for the RAW Women’s title. Dom will be in a shark cage hanging over the ring so no one can interfere in the match. Love hearing Sami introduce Rhea (from my home city of Adelaide). I haven’t written this in a while but “Shut up Corey” (Corey is a good announcer but he gets on my nerves a lot of the time) I did read a rumor that they belt will change hands back to Rhea, she is the much bigger draw than Liv is. Here is a twist no one saw coming but Raquel Rodregez, showed up to make sure that Liv kept the title. No what, I am not a happy girl on this one.

**MAIN EVENT — Solo Soika/Jacob Fatu in a tag match with Roman Reigns/Cody Rhodes. Cole asks the big question “Will Roman actually have Cody’s back? Jacob/Cody starting. This match very easily could have been the opening match, but I have a feeling this is going to take a huge turn that no one will see coming. (the WWE universe is so behind Roman) Not sure what the crowd was yelling but Roman actually smiled. O.T.C chants are very loud. Cody took a bit of a beating there but finally got to tag Roman in. (this match has been a bit slow which I expected) OMG — I am stunned, Cody has done everything to take out Jacob, Cody climbed to the top of the ring post, turned and saluted Roman, making the jump to take out Jacob. Now it leaves just Solo/Roman, but Tonga/Tula showed up for a distraction. Holy Cow, Jimmy just showed up. It was enough of a distraction for Roman to get the win. Jimmy/Roman hugging it out. Cody in the ring finally, not sure what is going to happen. Cody got jumped but Solo and his goons, but Roman and Jimmy came to Cody’s aid. OMG this just got even better, Rock’s music just hit. He never said anything, but it’s left a big cliff hanger.

I was kind of disappointed in the show, my pick for the best match was Drew/C.M until the Main event with Roman/Cody and Bloodline. They have left quite the spin on it all, with one piece of the puzzle still to return — Paul Heyman

Final RAW before Bad Blood

Morning from Adelaide.

This is the final RAW before Bad Blood. I know that RAW is going to 2 hours, but I do not know when.

Jey Uso opened the show by discussing how much winning the Intercontentional Title means to him. Braun Brekker came out to congratulate him. I have been reading that they may be turning Braun to a babyface, getting him ready for a possible World title run.

**MATCH — Xavier Woods beat Rey Mysterio when Rey lost his mask. Not totally sure that happened but I guess a win is a win. Rumour is that they are giving Xavier a singles run, which Xavier has never had.

**MATCH — Lyra Valkyria in a single match with Zoey Stark, Shayne Bazler/Sonya Deville made sure that Zoey got the win. Post-match, it was Chance/Carter who returned to help Lyra. Kayden with a facemask on protecting her broken nose.

Drew/CM in the steel cage with Adam Pearce allowing them final words. They will meet in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. (The trash-talking has really gotten out of hand in my book. I know it’s storyline but still it’s borderline bully in my book)

**MATCH — 6-man tag team with Judgement Day taking on L.W.O. Of course, thanks to Liv and Finn they stole the match from L.W.O. It was a good match, but Judgement Day is getting old. You know they are all going to interfere in matches, whenever they like, or they say it’s necessary. The storyline is getting boring. Nothing is changing, it is worse than The Bloodline but at least with Bloodline things took a major twist. They are still in the ring running their mouths off. Rhea has come out, egging Dom on because of his being claustrophobic. Once again, they took out Rhea/Damien for now but at Bad Blood, Rhea and Damien have to win.

**MATCH –Kofi Kingston taking on Chad Gable from American Made. Xavier is in Kofi’s corner. Xavier tried to help Kofi, but it fell apart, with Chad Gable winning. My understanding is that if Big E can return, he might be the one to bring The New Day return.

Sami Zayn is in the ring having a chat with Gunther. Next Monday, Sami goes for the Raw Men’s Title against Gunther. Jey Uso defending the Intercontentional Title against Xavier Woods. (Braun Brekker has let Gunther know he is coming for the title.

**MAIN EVENT — Last Monster Standing match between Bronson Reed facing Braun Strowman. Not much to write about when they are destroying the place when there needs to be a 10 count to win. Seth Rollins just returned to help Braun win. Seth stomped Bronson Reed on the steps that were thrown in the ring.

Smackdown Notes Sept 27/28

Morning from Adelaide. Thanks for the support. I have been trying to figure out how to share my thoughts on the various shows. I have not been writing about NXT right now as I feel it’s gotten a little slow, and stale in a way. NXT has been setting up for their premiere on the CW. With titles on the line, I will cover the show next week.

Randy Orton having a chat with Cody Rhodes about his teaming with Roman. (I have read that Cody could be taken out and replaced by the return of Jey Uso.) Kevin Owens is out to join Cody and Randy in the ring. Kevin removed Cody from the equation, demanding a tag match with Solo/Jacob.

**Match — Bayley facing Naomi for the right to meet Nia Jax at Bad Blood for the Smackdown Women’s title. (I have read that the title might change hands, to Tiffany) I am also waiting for Charlotte to return, I want to see a match between Tiffany and Charlotte. It should be a good match. It was a dog fight, but Bayley will be facing Nia at Bad Blood.

**Match — Andrade facing Carmel Hayes in their ongoing feud. In the back, Carmelo blindsided L.A. Knight, which won’t sit well with him. Andrade leads the series 3 wins to 2 wins. I can’t get over how well-matched these two are, they give it all they have when in the ring. Hayes needs to stop being a show-off and getting his head in the game. L.A. Knight came out to go after Hayes but that opened the door for Hayes to steal the win. The series tied at 3 wins each. I am not sure how long they can keep this going but it’s been good matches so far.

A.J. Styles returns next week when the show is in Nashville. Truth be told I have not missed A.J., and I can’t wait for him to retire. IMO, he comes across as being so full of himself. Nashville is the final show before Bad Blood.

**Match — Tag match between Kevin Owens/Randy Orton facing Jacob Fatu/Solo Sikoa. Randy asks Cody to keep an eye on things, and only help out if the numbers change. Cody tried to talk with Kevin but that has not happened as of yet. Randy just took out Solo/Jacob with numerous drops on the announcer’s table. The match did fall apart with Solo/Jacob stealing the win. As the show went off the air, Kevin was screaming at Cody. They have been careful with the storyline.

RAW Notes for Sept 23/24

**FYI — the video of Roman/Cody at Georgia Tech was directed by Paul Heyman

I am still reading rumors of a Ladies Interconnectional title along with a Ladies United States Title. This should make for interesting things. The Women’s locker room is stacked with great talent, which seems to get left behind at times.

Speaking of titles — let’s talk about the Men’s tag titles on both brands. They have barely been seen. The RAW titles were help and not defended for 71 days, the Smackdown Titles have yet to be defended. There was a rule of all titles were defended once every 30 days.

Bad Blood coming on October 5th.

Crown Jewel is Novembre 2

Both of these shows should have interesting cards. We know a couple of the matches for Bad Blood, with Cody/Roman facing Solo/Jacob. Also, Rhea is facing Liv for the title. (I have a feeling that title won’t change hands just yet.) (You know that Dom will do anything to make sure Liv keeps the title) Finn versus Damien has been added.

**Main Show — Liv/Dom opening the show, running off at the mouth about how Liv will beat Rhea and all, but Rhea came out with news of her own. Dom goes into a Shark Cage that will hang about the ring during the match. Finally, an even playing field but will the rest of Judgement Day get involved?

Sami Zayn is in a match with Ludwig Kaiser, IF Sami can win, he will get a game with Gunther. It will get nasty; Kaiser will stop at nothing to stop Sami from winning. (I saw a rumor the other day, what if Kaiser turned babyface, turning on Gunther?) Kaiser will stop at nothing until he takes Sami out perminately. Sami made sure that Kaiser paid for everything by getting the win. Here is Gunther at ringside, being the bully in Sami’s life.

Carlton with Dom and J.D. in tow to face Dragon Lee. Zelina is at ringside, along with L.W.O. Of course, J.D. and Dom got involved but it was a surprise from Rey Mysterio that turned the tide. Dragon Lee with a much-needed win.

Adam Pearce just told Jackie backstage that next week on RAW, the match between Braun/Bronson will be a Last Monster Standing match.

The New Day Face American Made. Chad Gable interferes giving his boys the win. Xavier loses his cool again. (rumor is that the New Day will have a split for a while to give Xavier a singles run, which he has never had)

RAW next week includes matches with Kofi Kingston facing Chad Gable, and Xavier Woods taking on Rey Mysterio.

*MAIN EVENT — The Intercontentional Title is on the line as Braun Brekker defends against Jey Uso. Jey is in his 7th title shot. This is going to be an all-out match. The boys will leave everything in the ring. Jey and Braun are having their moments to shine in the match but neither can shut and lock the door. You can see that Braun is falling apart, letting his ego get the better of him. That match was amazing, it’s taken 6 tries for Jey to finally get that elusive singles title that he has worked so hard for.

Wish I could have watched Rhea as he watched Jey win.

Smackdown Notes

Morning from Adelaide

Have been seeing some interesting chatter about Survivor Series: War Games. Cody/Roman will be facing Solo/Jacob in a tag match at Bad Blood. should be interesting to see how they work together for one match. Roman becoming a babyface is interesting, everyone still wants Roman as tribal chief (which I must admit I do also, it has grown on me)

*MATCH 1 tonight is L.A. Knight putting his United States title on the line against Andrade. (their first meeting. Andrade won the right 3 matches to 2 over Carmelo Hayes). I want this to be a good match but I would not put it past Hayes to show up and cause issues. It turned out to be a good match with L.A. Knight keeping the belt. (Carmelo Hayes was backstage, still running his mouth with Andrade punching him in the face.

Cody/Roman met face-to-face on the football field. It was a very intense chat but well shot, keeping the conservation on point. (love the song called I Am the Storm) Jimmy and Paul Heyman have yet to return. (Paul has said that he will return when the time is right. With Jimmy, there have been some cryptic messages that have me wondering if there is something serious going on with him)

*MATCH 2 — Giovanni Vinci in a rematch with Apollo Crews. Crews got the win before Vinci even got his warm-up gear off. This time around, Crews got the better of him again but there was a little bit of a match.

Kevin Owens was out to talk about how he felt about Cody/Roman in their tag team match for Bad Blood. Bloodline tried to take Kevin out but DIY showed up to help, with Nick Aldis turning the mess into a 6 man tag match for the main event.

*MATCH 3 — Nia Jax/Tiffany Stratton facing Bayley/Naomi. If Bayley/Naomi win they get a title shot at Bad Blood but on the flip side the loser leaves Smackdown between Bayley/Naomi. Bayley/Naomi both pinned Nia so next week they are in a singles match, the winner facing Nia.

Andrade will face Carmelo Hayes in their feud with Andrade ahead in the series 3 to 2. This is the 6th match between them

**Main Event — Kevin Owens/DIY facing the Bloodline. Well, Bloodline decided to take out DIY, leaving Kevin on his own, looking like 3 on 1 a handicap match but Street Profits showed up to help Kevin. As you would expect, the match fell apart but in the end, Cody came to help Kevin.
