Money in the Bank 2022

Happy 4th of July Weekend.

The show is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

***SUMMER SLAM — July 30th. (Last Man standing Match between Reigns/Lesner)

I am expecting nothing tonight and waiting to see what will happen, Remember Summer Slam is not far off.

**MATCH 1 — The ladies’ Money in the Bank Ladder Match will open the show. Becky Lynch,(not a fan of her repackage) Asuka, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Lacey Evans, Shotzi, and Alexa Bliss. Alexas is the first to make the climb up a ladder. The ladder got bent and those trying to use it are not having much luck. They need to replace it. There have been several tries, hands-on the clip but not able to secure the briefcase. Liv Morgan has pulled off the unthinkable winning the briefcase.

**MATCH 2 — United States title on the line with Theory facing Bobby Lashley. (Shut up Corey) Finally a belt change, Theory tried every dirty trick in the book but it would be a “Hurtlock” for the submission handing Bobby the belt.

**MATCH 3 — RAW Women’s title on the line between Bianca Belair against Carmella,(Rhea Ripley is not medically cleared to compete),It was an OK match, nothing special to be honest. bianca retains, even after Carmella gets beat she still attacks Bianca, what a sore loser.

**MATCH 4 — The Tag Team Titles are on the line between The Usos/Street Profits.(I am really hoping this is the beginning of the end for this storyline. It’s gotten boring/if Roman is scheduled to work less with no active titles, the Universe is getting bored also. there is a rumour that Street Profits will be split at some point) Dawkins/Jimmy open the match. Look at the replay, Montez Ford’s shoulder was OFF the mat. The Profits have a legitimate gripe. Titles remain.

**MATCH 5 — Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey defending against Natalya. Ronda made Natalya tap out, and Liv Morgan cashed in her briefcase and beat Ronda for the SmackDown title.

**MATCH 6 — Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match — Riddle, Seth, Omos, Madcap Moss, Samy Sayne, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre. (Adam Pearce just came out for a surprise adding an 8th entrant, Theory (just because he lost earlier) right now with Omos in there, I can see how this is going to turn out. It’s been a wild match, anything and everything has happened. I’m calling it an all-out steal by Theory. Never saw those one coming. I had my own thoughts but never saw this one.

Catch up on Monday/Tuesday for all the fallout.

WWE Notes for June 13th through 17th

Last week ended on a bang with Riddle getting the title match with Roman, Let’s see what this week brings.

**RAW in Wichita, Kansas

The Miz is in the ring with Miz TV and opens the show, with Paul Heyman. 85% Success rate cashing in the briefcase. According to Paul, Matt loses and he will not get any other title shot as long as Roman holds the belts.

**Montez Ford vs Jimmy Uso

**Seth Rollins in a one-on-one interview. Facing A.J later on for a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

**Dana Brooke facing Becky Lynch for the 24/7 Title. Becky screaming her brains out.

**Alexa Bliss/Liv Morgan facing Nicki ASH/Doudrop. The winning team qualifies for Money in the Bank.

**Kevin Owens vs Ezekiel

**Ciampa facing Riddle

***NXT

Great American Bash

**Tag Team title defence with the Creed Brothers going against Edris Enofe/Malik Blade – both teams showing respect to each other.

**Toxic Attraction facing Indy Hartwell/Cora Jade/Roxanne Perez

**Wes Lee in a match

Duke Hudson facing Braun Breaker for the NXT title.

Cameron Grimes talking to the Universe and Braun.

**Smackdown Live — Minneapolis, Minnesota

There have been reports that Vince is stepping down due to an investigation into a payoff, Vince had an affair with a former employee. Search Vince and you will see the headlines.

Riddle facing Roman — Matt loses, he won’t get another title shot as long as Roman holds the title.

Riddle in the ring. (Matt did share that Randy is having an operation) Looks like Randy will miss the rest of the year.

Madcap Moss facing Happy Corbin — Corbin complaining about everything that is wrong. Corbin got beat.

The New Day facing Jinder Mahal/Shankey

Adam Pearce is in the ring, making the decision between Sheamus/Drew McIntyre who gets the spot in the Money in the Bank match.

Raquel facing Shayna for a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. Raquel takes out Shayna.

Riddle facing Riddle — It’s been a good match, The Usos are not at ring side at this point. It is good to see Roman challenged. I can’t see them putting the belt on Riddle but anything is possible. I think they might be setting up a title match of somekind for Wrestlemania. Riddle kicked out of a superman punch, no clue how he did that. Roman caught Riddle with a spear out of mid air. The Universe is getting ugly that Roman won. Matt has nothing to be ashamed of, he gave it all he had. (IMO — this storyline needs to end , the sooner the better in my book. You can tell by the reaction of the Universe they are getting tired of it also. Matt pushed Roman to him limits, no one has done that for quite awhile.) Now we have to listen to Roman bragging. I have it on mute.

After Roman’s bragging, Brock Lesnar’s music started. I use to hate Brock but I know he can take out Roman. Brock offered a hand, after hesitation, Roman took it and got himself , along with Jimmy ,Jey all dropped in F5.

Brock is coming for his title. I hope this is how they will split them back up.

WWE Notes June 6 Through June 11

The fallout from Hell in a Cell that took place last night. Cody Rhodes tore off his pec muscle (right) as he was training for the match with Seth. I still don’t know how in the world he competed but he did. As Cody took off his jacket you could see the bruising as it was getting worse.

**Fatal 4 way to decide Bianca Belair’s next opponent at Money in the bank.

**New Member of Judgement Day

**Street Profits facing The Usos for a right to a match for the titles.

Cody is in the ring chatting to the Universe, and you can see how much pain he is in. Seth is out, limped his way to the ring. Not his usual happy dancing self. Seth said, “I don’t like you but you have earned my respect” Seth came out, offering a handshake. Cody is scheduled for surgery this Wednesday. (Seth showed his true colours attacking Cody)

Becky is in a match with Dana Brooke, for the 24/7 belt and now Asuka is out. With some help from Asuka, Dana gets the win.

Matt Riddle is in the ring chatting with Miz/Maurice. Riddle in a match but the old course trick never worked with Matt getting the win.

Theory walked out on Bobby Lashley, telling him to get out of his ring. Theory telling Bobby he doesn’t deserve a title match. I can see this being a new feud.

Rhea Ripley to face Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank

**NXT

Recap of “In Your House”

Santos Escobar is in action because of losing the match to The Don. Escobar lost thanks to a crowbar being pushed in the ring and told to use it.

Braun Breaker issued a challenge, and Apollo Crews answered the call. (glad they lost the warrior package. )

Tiffany Station facing Roxanne Perez for the Breakout title along with the contract. It was a dog fight, Roxanne held her own with Tiffany making the much-needed mistake to slam the door. Of course, Mandy Rose had to come out and spoil things.

Pretty Deadly in action.

**Smackdown Live

Coming from Baton Rouge, Lousisana

Title Match for the Intercontentional Belt

Money in the Bank Qualifying matches for the Ladies and Gentlemen

*Men Qualifying match between Drew McIntyre facing Sheamus (Butch in his corner)

*Women’s Qualifying Match has Lacey Evans waiting for Xi Lee. Women’s right is still as lethal as ever. Lacey Evans is the 1st to qualify.

Ronda Rousey is on the way to the ring. (Money in the Bank is 3 weeks away)

Gunther is on his way to the ring for his match against Ricochet for the Intercontentional title. Not surprised by Gunther getting the win. He was too strong.

Sami Zayne/Riddle — Matt is fighting for a future match against Roman. If Sami Win’s matt is banned from Smackdown. Holy Crap — Riddle got himself a title shot, but here come The Usos to spoil it all.

See you next week

Hell in a Cell

Taking place at All-State Arena in Chicago, Illinois

As the show is starting, they are reporting an injury to Cody Rhodes.

**Match 1 — Triple Threat Match for the Raw Women’s Champion — Becky Lynch/
Asuka/Bianca Belair. (IMO — Becky makes an annoying heel) Everyone has had a try at pinning someone for the win. What a way to open the show, it was a flurry of pins until the very end when out of nowhere, Bianca came out of nowhere, getting rid of Becky to pin Asuka and Bianca is still your Women’s Champion. All three ladies brought their A-Game, leaving it all in the ring.

**Match 2 — 2 on 1 handicapped match between Bobby Lashleypitted against M.V.P/Omos. the Universe is giving Bobby all the positive it can. M.V.P opening the match against Bobby. Omos put bobby through the Timekeeper’s Table. Thanks to some extra help from Cedric Alexander, Bobby Lashly holds his own somehow getting the win over Omos and M.V.P

**Match 3 — Kevin Owens on his way to the ring, facing Ezekiel. Kevin screamed all the time that it was actually Elias that he was wrestling, Kevin with a pinpoint kick knocked him out allowing Kevin to get the win.

**Match 4 — Judgement Day on the way to the ring to face, Liv Morgan/Finn Balor/A.J Styles. Mixed Tag Team. It’s going to be the match to watch this far. Expect the unexpected. (Always knew that Rhea would play a good Heel) The distraction always works. Rhea is willing to put herself in front of Finn, giving Edge, just enough time to hit Finn with a spear for the win.

**Match 5 — Madcap Moss squaring off against Happy Corbin in a No Holds Barr match. All Corbin wants to do is end Madcap’s career. The only way to win the match is by pinning your opponent. Madcap got payback with a chair around Corbin’s neck, pinning him for the win.

**Match 6 — Mustafa Ali facing Theory for the United States title. Ali gave it a good go but it was not meant to be today.

**Match 7 — Hell in a Cell — Seth Rollins facing Cody Rhodes. Cody has a torn Pec Muscle. I truly have no clue how Cody has survived this match. Cody is a mess, can barely move. will need surgery on his arm, so bruised but what a pain threshold finally beats Seth. Seth even started the match dressed in Dusty Rhodes’s signature polka dots.

Time to wait and see what fallout there is as we wait on RAW tomorrow, along with heading to Money in the Bank in July in Las Vegas

In Your House

5 Titles are on the line tonight

**Match 1 — Legado de Familia in a 6 man tag team against The Don and his henchmen. It’s an all-out match, with both teams trying everything to get that edge. Thanks to a crowbar along with brass knuckles it would be the Don stealing the win. It was a good match to open the show with. this feud is far from over.

**Match 2 — NXT Women’s Tag Team title on the line with Toxic Attraction defending against Katana Chance/Kayden Carter. (1st time the women’s tag title was defended at an In Your House) both teams are bringing everything to the match. For once with no outside interference, this can be the Match of the night. Toxic was made to work for it, but it was Jacey (on the outside)who made sure they kept the belts.

**Match 3 — North American Title on the line Cameron Grimes facing Carmello Hayes, Hayes does have Williams on the outside for extra help but Grimes needs to stay away from Haye’s corner. I never liked Grimes but he has grown on me. have watched him improve over the weeks. Grimes flew taking out Hayes and Williams. Hayes reclaims the belt. (Williams made sure that Hayes got the belt back, inferring just enough to throw Cam off)

Joel Gacy cutting a promo for his match with Braun Breaker.

**Match 4 — Women’s Title — Mandy Rose facing Wendy Choo. Let’s see if she can defend it on her own or if the Toxic Attraction girls show up to help her. Mandy Rose is a good wrestler in her own right. Wendy Choo with a sleeper hold, Mandy got to the ropes. It took everything Mandy Rose had but she managed to keep the belt. How much longer can they hold on?

**Match 5 — Tag Team title on the line with Pretty Deadly going against the Creed Brothers from the Diamond Mine. What a match, it had everything and more. Pretty Deadly tried to use the tag belt to steal the win but Julis handed the belt back to the ref and they did it the right way. The Creed Brothers family was in the audience cheering them on. so far, this is my pick for the match of the night.

**Match 6 — Braun Breaker facing Joel Gacy. If Braun gets disqualified, he loses the belt to Gacy. Gacy has 2 of his henchmen with him at the ring, this cant work well for Braun. Gacy tried to pull a fast one with a steel chair but the second ref watching made sure the match went on as Braun never hit Gacy. Even a low blow is not stopping Braun. What a bait for Gacy to suck him in, Braun never lost his cool, in the end, Gacy can slither away as he has lost. This has taken the Match of the night.

WWE Notes for week of May 30

Congrats to Charlotte and Andrade who were married last week in Mexico

**HELL IN A CELL is this coming Sunday in Chicago

Show open with Becky Lynch on her way to the ring. Asuka has joined Becky in the ring, and Bianca is out now. Becky at the announcer’s table, Bianca/Asuka in a match.

Dominic/Rey Mysterio/Ezekiel in 6 man tag team facing Alpha Academy/Kevin Owens

Cody Rhodes is in the ring talking about Hell in a Cell with his match against Seth Rollins. Seth has come out of the crowd to join Cody. It’s gotten personal, they are trying to rip each other to shreds now.

Alexa Bliss in action.

Miz TV with the Street Profits

Mustafa Ali beats Ciampa, and he gets a future title match against Theory. I can’t stand Theory as a heel. Rematch on Sunday at Hell in a Cell

Shinsuke/Riddle facing The Usos for a future tag team match. (Randy is out for an undisclosed time. He is meeting with doctors to assess his injury. discussing treatment. No one is sure if this is storyline related or if it’s an actual injury needing medical attention)

Bobby Lashley is to face Omos/M.V.P in a 2 on 1 handicap match at Hell in a cell

***NXT***

4 days away from In Your House

Diamond Mine on the way to the ring facing Pretty Deadly.

Cora Jade in action against Elektra Lopez

Can Braun Breaker hold his temper on Saturday, defeating Joe Gracy, keeping the NXT Men’s title?

***SMACKDOWN

Tonight in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio

New Day in the ring. (the O HI O chants started)

Drew McIntyre is out with the boys, they sent Big E best wishes. Kofi /Xavier got Drew a Kilt in a box.

Los Lotharious — Humberto is on the way to the ring in singles action with his cousin Angel. Jander Mahall facing Humberto.

Madcap returns to action. Madcap has repackaged himself and added muscle. The suspenders are gone. Madcap gets disqualified taking a chair to Corbin but Adam Pearce makes it a No Holds Bar match at Hell in a Cell.

Riddle/Shinsuke facing The Usos. Thanks to Sami Zayne, Usos keeps the belts but it’s not over by any means. Still, no word if Randy’s career is over or if he will return. I have seen Riddle change over the months, becoming an even better Wrestler.

See you at Hell in a Cell

WWE Notes for week of May 23

***RAW — Thanks to Paul Heyman distracting the Ref, the Usos managed to steal the titles from R.K Bro. The Bloodline left the area in shambles with Randy, and Riddle knocked out.

*Riddle/Street Profits facing The Usos/Samy Zayne in a 6 man tag. Riddle is next to tears talking about Randy. I am not sure if Randy is on medical leave or if it is storyline related. Riddle talked about the difficult time Randy was having but he didn’t want to let anyone down. Typical Usos, they walked and let Sami take the hit.

Recap of the Lashley/Omos match

Judgement Day

***November 5th — Crown Jewel

Bobby Lashley facing MVP with the winner choosing the stipulation for Hell in a Cell

**NXT**

Songa facing Wes Lee (is not 100%) Sanga is going to hurt Lee even more. Songa came back into the ring, protecting Wes. An unusual show of respect.

Electricka Lopez facing Alba Fyre (Kay Lee Ray – repackaged)

Lash Legend facing Roxanne Perez — I have no clue how she did it but Roxanne is n the finals

Indi Hartwell facing Mandy Rose. Chance and Carter took out Toxic Attraction. Hope it helps Indi. Thanks to Toxic Attraction Mandy Rose keeps the Women’s title.

Tiffany Stratton facing Fallon Henley — Stratton wins and will meet Perez in the final.

Duke Hudson facing Braun Breaker — Once again Joe Casey is roaming around. To be honest I can’t stand the storyline. I can’t see the relevance in it, let alone it’s more of a one-sided mind game. I Just don’t get WHY they would even think about putting the belt on Casey. Makes no sense.

**SMACKDOWN**

The show opens with a recap of last week’s Tag Team match. Thanks to Paul and Roman, The Usos need their help to get the RAW Tag Belts. The Universe lets them know in a chorus of boos that they are not happy. It was sad even seeing the little ones in tears.

Shinsuke/Matt Riddle out to the ring going after the Usos.

Raquel Rodriguez for another try at Rhonda.

Los Lotharious facing Jinder Mahal/Shakey

Kevin Owens making a visit to Smackdown.

Drew Gulak/Ricochet facing Gunther/Ludvig

Xavier Woods/Kofi Kingston/Drew McIntyre in action against Sheamus/Butch/Rich

WWE Notes for the week of May 17

WWE Notes is my view and a condensed version of what happened on RAW, NXT and Smackdown. I won’t always give you spoilers, will try and share rumours, I might read, and keep you up on feuds and possible matches for upcoming pay per views.

**RAW — Bobby Lashley/ Omos in a steel cage. What a mistake Omos just made.

Theory facing Mustafa Ali (The Miz) — I would walk out. This feud got interesting

Asuka/Becky Lynch facing off for the right to go to Hell in a Cell. (Sasha/Naomi turned out the match)

Riddle vs Jey Uso — It’s about time something went R.K. Bro’s way

Liv Morgan has joined forces with A.J Styles and Finn Balor

Alexa Bliss has a match with Sonya Deville

Cody Rhodes has thrown down the gallant of a match at Hell in a Cell, against Seth.

Lacey Evans in the Ring.

**NXT

This week’s show opens with Carmelo Hayes/Trick Williams in tag team action

Joe Casey is baiting Braun Breaker. If Braun gets disqualified At in Your House, pay per view, he loses the belt.

Women’s breakout tournament continues.

(I’m having a hard time with the new crop of wrestlers coming into NXT. When Tomasso left, it was the anchor of NXT has left. I like Braun Braker, he continues to grow on me. Not impressed with the Don character, he is so dry. (know it’s the character but I can’t find anything to like about him) I know I need to give it more time, seeing familiar faces there, help but time will tell.

**Smackdown Live

***NEWS — Last week due to creative differences, Sasha Banks/Naomi walked into Vince’s office. Surrendered the Women’s Tag Team belts, and left the building. There will be a tournament soon to crown new Tag Team Champions.

Roman opens the show.

Shinsuke facing Sami Zayne

Happy Corbin with Happy Talk

Kaiser introduces Gunther in another match with Drew Gulack.

L. A Knight has been repackaged as DuPree

Raquel Rodriguez facing Shotzi.

Xavier Woods in action

The Bloodline now holds all the belts. I am really baffled as to WHY they have done it. The Universe is not happy to say the least by the looks on faces as they show went off.

Wrestlemania Backlash

After Wrestlemania, I still don’t know what to expect. I usually do a lot of reading when rumours are out to see if there are any ideas as to what will take place but once again. It’s time to keep an open mind. Summer Slam is at the end of July, are the suits creating storylines heading in that direction? With Roman holding all the gold right now, what kind of storyline can you create that won’t bore the universe to tears right now?

Only time will tell

**Match 1 — Cody Rhodes in a rematch facing Seth Rollins. Right now the Universe is backing Cody. Just when I think it’s about to end, one of them kicks out to keep the match going. I can see this feud becoming a classic. 2 can play, I can hold the tights and steal the winning trick. Seth tried it but Cody rolled out, grabbing Seth’s tights for the win. Cody – 2 wins and Seth – still trying.

**Match 2 — Omos with M.V.P now in his corner facing Bobby Lashley. I’m not sure on this one, At All. Once again, M.V.P made sure he helped Omos get the win. There were times when I actually thought Bobby had the win but this is not over by any means. Bobby actually got Omos tied up in the robes but it wasn’t long enough to do any damage to help.

**HELL IN A CELL in Chicago, June 5

**Match 3 — A.J Styles facing Edge. Damien Priest has been barred from ringside. I am still not sure if I like Damien as a heel but it will be interesting to continue to watch. Damien barred from ringside, Finn out trying to help A.J but it would be Edge with help getting the win in the end. It’s not Damien with the assist, Rhea Ripley has turned heel. (who saw that heel turn coming?)

**Match 4 — I QUIT – Charlotte and Rhonda Rousey going at it. No pinfalls, Only way to win is to scream those two little words. Don’t blink during this match, you might miss something. It was Rhonda who made Charlotte scream in pain. I have to give credit to Charlotte and Rhonda, they both have taken a beating. what 1 didn’t think of the other 1 did. (I am glad to see the title change on this one, it took Rhonda almost breaking Charlotte’s arm to get Charlotte to quit. ( I am not sure if it is really true or storyline but Rhonda did break Charlotte’s arm. It would put her out for 6 weeks. As Pat just said, you have weight up the option on what you are really willing to do to another human.

**JULY 2 – Money in the Bank in Las Vegas

**Match 5 — Happy Corbin facing Madcap Moss – to be honest, there was nothing really exciting about this match. It ended pretty much the way I figured it would. Corbin is boring again.

**Match 6 — 6 man tag team, R. K Bro with Drew McIntyre facing Roman /The Usos. This is going to fall apart at some point. Roman and Drew going at it. (Been reading this is starting to set up a feud between those 2) (Roman has held the belt for over a year, but he has had help in keeping it)It finally fell apart. In the end, it was Roman with a spear on Matt to get the win.

Even Phil said that this pay per view felt flat tonight. Hopefully heading to the summer months in the USA will help pick things up.
