Final RAW before War Games

This will be an interesting show as final preparations are underway for War Games this coming weekend in San Diego.

Wade, Joe, and Alicia are attending to their regular duties.

Men’s War Game Advantage match is tonight. Drew/Logan Paul are in the tag match.

Roman is on his way to the ring. Roman is in the ring, taking the Universe all in. Here comes Cody. Cody just asked Roman why he is taking part in War Games. Here comes CM Punk to join the party. Roman just said that the title would look better on his shoulder, but he didn’t say which one.

Gunther is on his way to the ring for his quarterfinal match against Carmelo Hayes. I think Gunther will take this out, but Hayes is hanging in. OMG, Hayes almost got Gunther on a countout. That was one hell of a match. You can see how spent they both are. Gunther will face the winner of the Solo/Penta match, which I would love to see Solo facing Gunther. Penta has injured himself outside the ring. Looks like Penta might have dislocated his shoulder. Solo gets the win, Medical pulled Penta.

With the discussions on the Intercontinental Title, my thought is that John will keep the title until Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther will defeat John for the Title. Dom is in the ring, running his mouth. They have a dwarf John out, along with a dwarf Stu, the camera guy. Here comes Rey, but Dom has done a runner as usual. Rey in singles action against JD from Judgement Day. Rey with the win after JD took out Finn, who tried to slow down Rey. (You can see Judgement Day starting to fall apart.)

Becky Lynch is on her way to the ring. I can see this being the start of the Women’s War Games promo. Lash/Nia/Asuka/Kairi have joined Becky in the ring. It’s the heel squad. (I have the sound on mute, I am so over Becky with all her holy than thou attitude. (She is playing the part well, why I am so annoyed.) I would like to see Nia/Lash take a run in the tag division. Here comes Rhea/Alexa/Charlotte/Iyo/AJ. (That is a stacked team) I am guessing that the Women’s Advantage match will take place on SmackDown. Told you it would fall apart.

Jimmy/Jey is on the way to the ring for the Men’s Advantage match. It’s supposed to be against Drew/Logan Paul, but Brock is in the building. Everyone else has arrived on the scene, trying to make sure this ends. Logan Paul got the advantage for the Men’s Team by pinning Jimmy. Here comes Roman, and you know that Brock is not far behind.

LOL, Brock went to do his pyro kick and he fell over.

SmackDown Show Notes

I was away on Saturday. This is a shortened version of the notes from the show

Axiom was in single action against Johnny Garcia, and Candice LeRae and Nathan Frazier were both at the ringside. CandIce managed to pull off Axiom’s mask, helping Johnny steal the win.

Ilja Dragunov, once again, with an open challenge. JD McDonagh answered the call. From the highlights, this looked like another good match, but Ilja would retain.

Rhea/Iyo/Charlotte/Alexa in the ring to announce their 5th member, which would be AJ Lee. Becky Lynch will join forces with Lash LaRue/Nia/Kairi/Asuka. This match is going to be explosive. (Before the meeting in the ring, Lexi and Iyo for Charlotte/Rhea in the same room. They agreed to put differences aside, IMO storyline.

The match I really wanted to see was Penta vs Finn Balor advancing in the Last Time is Now match. It was Penta who came out on top. The need to blow up The Judgement Day and get Finn back in the singles action.

Team Sami is facing Team MFT in a traditional 5 vs 5 Survivor Series match on SmackDown. On the eve of Survivor Seres: War Games

Drew McIntyre took out Cody on his bus before the match between Bronson Reed/Carmelo Hayes. It was not looking good for Cody, but in the end, The Usos took out Logan Paul and Bron Brekker. Paul Heyman did his usual in getting the attention of the ref, which was the time for Reed to take care of Hayes, getting the win, but they didn’t expect Cody on the scene. Sending Reed into the ringpost, helping Hayes get the ring, making sure that Reed was counted out, and giving Carmelo the win.

Sheamus had to withdraw from the Last Time tournament due to an injury. LA. Knight was due to face Sheamus, but now has to wait to see who he will face.

NXT Gold Rush – Week 1

Vic and Booker T are back at the desk with Mike Rome in the ring

The first match of the night is for the Triple A Mixed Tag Team Titles, currently held by Ethan Page/Chelsea Green, who will defend against Joe Hendry/Thea Hail. (Thea teaming with Joe is a great choice; the personalities fit well) It was an ok match to open with for the most part. No title has changed hands.

NXT Women’s North American Title is on the line as Blake Monroe defends against Sol Ruca. The evil bitch still has the title. Blake targeted the knee that Sol had been out for a year. I have no idea how much more damage has been done. Hoping that Zaira gets her hands on Blake.

Ricky Saints and Oba Femi are in the ring for a chat. Really, Trick once again has stuck his nose where it doesn’t belong. Myles Bourne took out Trick. Ricky will put up the NXT Men’s title at Deadline, which is December 6. John Cena will decide who takes part in the Iron Survivor matches for the right to have the current Men’s and Women’s NXT Title holders.

Leon Slater/Ja’von Evans will meet Dark Street with the NXT Tag Team Titles on the line. This has been the match of the night so far. The universe is in this. Communication mistake between Leon/Ja’von and the titles stay with Dark State.

Main Event time with Jacey Jade facing Tatum Paxley for the Women’s NXT Title. Holy Shit, The Culling just turned on Tatum Paxley, helping Jacey and the Fatal Influence to take the title. It was a good match, up until everyone got involved.

RAW in New York City

John Cena’s final show, also his final time at Madison Square Gardens.

Joe, Wade and Alisha are at their regular places this week

John is in the ring, and it’s going to get very loud. John is just taking it all in. (I remember when John first came on the scene.) I am reading rumours that, in his final match, John will also drop the Intercontinental Title. With Gunther’s return, will they put the belt back on him? Oh, geesh, here comes Dirty Dom. Dom demanded a rematch. Dom wants his rematch in his backyard. He won’t win. Judgement Day dropped John, here came Sheamus and now Rey Mysterio, who goes straight for Dom. John called for a Ref and the bell; he got it. 6-man tag match.

(Last time is now Tourney) Solo Sokia is on his way to the ring. He will have Toma Toinga at ringside. Solo has no idea who he is facing. His opponent is Dolph Ziggler. Dolph pushed Solo like he had not been pushed in ages. Solo advances.

The New Day, Greyson Waller chatting to Byron. I am so over New Day. I actually muted the telly.

Alexa Bliss is on her way to the ring. Not sure what the storyline with Charlotte walking away is all about. Is this a setup for Charlotte to go after Jade? Will this send Alexa back to the Wyatt sick? Asuka tried to recruit Bayley, who told Asuka to get stuffed. Alexa has broken the 4th wall, talking directly to the camera. Oh no, Auska/Kairi/Nia/Lash are heading to the ring. It was almost 4 on 1, but Iyo/Rhea has come out to help. Charlotte arrived with a kendo stick. Left in the ring were Charlotte/Alexa/Rhea/Iyo

Women’s Intercontinental Title on the line with Becky Lynch defending against Maxxine Dupri. This will go one of 2 ways: Becky will win outright, she will get DQ to keep the belt, or they will finally give Max her first title. AJ Lee just arrived on the scene. As Becky was trying to take off a buckle cover, AJ came out. Lee stayed in the aisle, taking Becky’s focus off Maxi just long enough for her to get the pin. Question — Does this set up a feud with AJ and Becky? OK, Rhea just approached AJ, just finished her interview with Jacki, asking if she could chat.

Ja’von Evans will face Gunther for a place in the John Cena Tourney. They have done a bit of a repackage with Gunther. I was wondering if they would give Evans a chance, and they are, but Gunther is holding his own, not too nasty at this point. Ja’von made Gunther earn the win tonight.

The Vision is on the way to the ring, Heyman/Reed/Brekker/Paul/McIntyre. Waiting on Punk/Jimmy Uso/Jey Uso/Rhodes. It’s all-out war. Oh Shit, here comes Brock, now this is really going to get ugly. Let’s double that. Oh Shit, here comes Roman. Roman just took out Brock. Bronson Reed is trying to take out Roman.

It was totally chaotic

War Games in 2 Weeks — SmackDown

Cole and Corey are at the desk with Mark Nash, taking care of announcer duties.

Recap of what happened with the Women’s Tag Team titles from Monday. Which was a setup for the Women’s War Games. Rhea and Iyo are in the ring. Charlotte/Alexa are joining Rhea/Iyo in the ring. Lexie is pissed. Charlotte says she can’t trust Rhea. Charlotte is out.

Jey Uso is in the ring waiting for his opponent, The Miz. Jey wins, advancing in the Last Time is Now Tournament.

Drew McIntyre has been suspended (storyline) so Drew can be away to film a movie.

Ilja is in the ring defending the United States Title against Axium. Unbelievable, what a great match. They have chosen some great opponents to push Ilja past his limits.

Sami Zayn is in the ring having a chat. Solo and the MFT are running their mouth. Sami didn’t come alone, Motor City, Nakamura and Rey Fenix. Nick just made the match for SmackDown before War Games, MFT facing Sami, MCMG, Shinsuke and Rey Fenix.

L.A.Knight is on his way to the ring for his first round match in the Tourney, but who is he facing? His opponent is Zack Ryder. Good match, Knight advances. This was Ryder’s first match in WWE in 5 and1/2 years.

Rhea, Iyo and Alexa got attacked by Lash, Nia and Kaboki Warriors.

Jade Cargill is in the ring for her first singles match since winning the title and will face B-Fab. Jade is in heel mode.

Nick is drawing the next wrestlers. The Last time is now. Carmelo Hayes is facing Bronson Reed, and Penta will take on Finn Baylor, which should be interesting.

Cody has put the title on the line against Bronson Reed. We all know Cody won’t lose it; this is more setting up War Games. I knew at some point that the rest of The Vision would show up, too close to the PLE, trying to injure Cody before the match. Here comes Jimmy/Jey to try and even the numbers. Drew just showed up. The Universe is getting loud, letting Paul and the bullies know they are not happy.

Haymen’s Henchmen — Braun Brekker/Bronson Reed/Logan Paul/Drew McIntyre

Punk’s Team — CM Punk/Jimmy Uso/Jey Uso/

NXT at Home in Orlando

Vic and Booker T are at the announcer’s desk with Mike Rome announcing.

Tatum Paxley with The Culling in the ring. (Why do I have a feeling at some point that Izzi will turn on Tatum?) Here comes Fatal Influence to cause trouble. Jacey says that she runs the place with or without the title. Jacey will get her rematch at Gold Rush. Izzi does not like this decision.

Jasper Troy is heading to the ring to face El Grande Americano for the Men’s Speed Title. The final has a 5-minute time limit. El Grande Americano got caught by the Ref trying to put the medal eyepiece in his mask after the Ref tossed Los Americanos

Thea Hail in singles action against Alba Fire. Chelsea/Ethan in Alba’s corner with Joe Hendry in Thea’s corner. It pushed Thea past her limits, even with Chelsea/Ethan getting involved, but Thea got the win.

Ja’von Evans is in the ring, chatting about his match. The Last time is now match against Gunther. Crap, Dark State just showed up.

Skylar Raye is facing Fallon Henley for the right to advance to the Women’s Speed Title. Fallon Henley wins. Fallon will meet Zaria in the Women’s Speed Final.

Taivon Heights is facing Josh Briggs in a grudge match. That match was brutal, but Taivon with the win.

Last man standing match between Ricky Saints/Trick Williams. Neither of them is holding back. It’s become an all-out war. I am amazed these two are still standing. What a hell of a spear Ricky just hit Trick with. I have no clue how Ricky won this match.

Holy Shit —- Oba Femi has just returned

RAW in Boston

Joe and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Alicia Taylor, looking after the ring announcing duties.

The camera guy, Stu, who works the aisle where the wrestlers go down to the ring, has been there through many people who have come and gone. Stu is the one John always says, Let’s go to work. John is in the ring with Triple H.

What the hell, Dirty Dom just walked out. (Heard a rumour that they might put the I.C. title on John. The only title he has never won.) Dirty Dom is complaining that this is all about him. Dom just told John to shut up or he would put him down. Dom ran his mouth with Triple H in the ring, H made the match, and Dom will defend the I.C. title. I knew it, they put the belt on John Cena, he can now retire as a Grand Slam Champion.

Damien Priest is on his way to the ring for his match against Rusev in the first round of the tourney to see who faces John Cena in Washington, D.C. for his last match. Rusev win thanks to a thumb in the eye.

C.M. Punk is on the way to the ring, chatting about what Logan Paul did to him last week. Here comes the little brat, Logan Paul. Oh God, Paul Heyman just walked out, along with the rest of The Vision. OK, I see the setup here for War Games. Punk was joined by Jey/Cody.

Stephanie Vaquer is on her way to defend the RAW Women’s title; she has Nikki Bella in her corner. Steph is facing Raquel, from Judgement Day, who you know will have Roxy with her. Raquel has tried everything, but Stephanie has answered back. Nikki just made things known that she is coming after the title.

That was great, Punk, Cody and Jey, talking to Pearce. Punk calls out William Regal, who says two words, “WAR GAMES”

The Last Time is Now tourney continues with Shinsuke Nakamura facing off against Sheamus. Sheamus with the win, Shin gave Sheamus all he could handle.

Here is the draw — Last time is now tourney — Ja’von Evans is facing Gunther, who is returning, and Solo will face well, Adam said we will find out next week in New York.

Main event time with Alexa Bliss/Charlotte defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles against the Kaboki Warriors. As far as I can see, there is no reason to move the belts, unless they feel it’s time to split Charlotte/Alexa. This could make a good fued. Lexie tried to tap in, but Kairi stopped her. Thanks to Nia/Lash, I can see the titles changing hands. War Games is set up, coming, I hope. Here comes Iyo out to help Lexie and Charlotte. Rhea also out to help, Rhea with 2 words “WAR GAMES”

SmackDown in Greenville, S.C

Corey and Cole are at the announcer’s desk with Mark Nash, looking after the Ring announcing duties.

We should start to see storylines heading to Survivor Series.

Cody Rhodes is in the ring, cutting a promo. Aliester Balck/Zelina in the ring. Zelina has turned into a little bitch since joining her hubby.

Ilja Dragunov is out for his United States Challenge. Tommaso Ciampa has answered the call. Ilja told Ciampa, No and pointed to Johnny Gargano that he would get the chance. Johnny, with a little help from Candace, still could not get the job done. Ilja retains.

Jade Cargill is heading to the ring for her first Promo as the new Women’s Champion. That was short and sweet. Jade has put the locker room on notice. (I think that Jade has turned Heel)

Charlotte is in singles action, facing Nia Jax. Alexa Bliss is at the ringside. Lash Legend just took out Alexa Bliss. Nia Jax, with the win, gave the assist to Lash Legend.

Nick Aldis is drawing the next 2 matches for the John Cena Tournament is The Miz taking on Jey Uso. L.A. Knight will face (Nick is keeping his opponent a surprise)

Guilia (Kiara is in her corner) is putting the United States Title on the line against Chelsea Green. Holy Crap, Chelsea just stole the United States Title from Guilia.

Rey Fenix is facing Talla Tonga in singles action. This won’t end well for Rey. Motor City Machine Guns helped even the odds at ringside, but only Solo is there in Talla’s corner. Rey had his moments to shine, but moments were all he had.

Main Event time with Cody Rhodes facing Aleister Black, who has Zelina in his corner. Drew took out the ref with a Claymore. Damien Priest is in the ring, giving Cody backup. Nick Aldis is out to inform Drew that he is suspended, effective immediately.

NXT at Home in Orlando

Booker T. and Vic are at the Announcer’s Desk with Mike Rome on announcing duties.

Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, and Lola Vice are joining forces against Fatal Influence (Jacey, Fallon/Lainey Reed) in a 6-woman tag match. This match has gotten wild, but it’s been a damn good match to open the show. Thanks to a mistake, Izzi took the hit, saving Tatum. Jacey got the win for Fatal Influence.

Kelani Jordan, in the ring, cutting a promo. I think you could classify her as a heel.

Josh Briggs is meeting in singles action against El Grande Americano. Bravo and Rayo Americano are at ringside, which is not a good thing. Travon Heights is giving El Grande Americano a little help getting the win. Elgrande Americano will defend the Men’s Speed title next week against Jasper Troy.

Interview between Trick Williams/Ricky Saints, who is the current Men’s Champion. I am tired of the Trick character, going on and on about how no one can correctly represent the NXT brand but Trick, according to Trick.

Women’s Speed Tournament with Zaria facing Wren Sinclair. 3 minutes to get 1 pin and move on. 31 seconds left on the clock, Zaria with the win.

NXT Deadline is Saturday, December 6th, in San Antonio, Texas.

Kelani is heading to the ring for a singles match, facing Tyra Mae Steele. Tyra gave it her all, but it was Kelani in the end for the win. Kelani is informed that she will be going to Gold Rush to defend the TNA title in a triple threat match.

Ja’von Evans is on his way to the ring for a singles match, facing a member of Dark State. It’s basically a 4 to 1 match with Ja’von doing anything he can to survive. Holy Crap, kids, Dark State managed to take themselves out, giving Evans the chance to take out Sugars for the win.

Triple A Mixed Tag Team, Ethan Page/Chelsea Green, in the ring, cutting a promo. Joe Hendry is joining forces with Thea Hail for mixed pairs.

Fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event

I watched the show this week to enjoy it for a change. I was kind of surprised by the dominance Jade Cargill had over Tiffany. I had read that the title was going to change hands, but I was not sure if it was actually true.

NXT Gold Rush will take place over two nights on November 18 and 25th.

November 29th, WWE heads to San Diego to Petco Park for Survivor Series

Joe and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Alicia Taylor on announcing duties.

CM Punk is on his way to the ring. It will be interesting to see how this sets up for Survivor Series. Ok, I just had my lunch ruined, with the time change, it’s 11:30 start for me. Logan Paul just walked out. Here we go again. Punk offered a sort of open challenge, which is why Paul walked out. Logan got mid-sentence, getting interrupted by Paul Heyman. OK, this is a match I would like to see: Logan Paul facing Braun Brekker. Paul jumped back in the ring, giving Punk a chance to get out.

Stephanie Vaquer is on her way to the ring for a tag match with her partner, Nikki Bella. They are taking on Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. (I am waiting for Liv to return. I want to see what they do with Liv/Roxy. ) Needless to say, Roxy with Poprocks for the win.

A thrilling 16-man tournament is set to take place, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to face John Cena in what promises to be his final showdown. The excitement kicks off when RAW lands in Boston, a fitting backdrop for this monumental event. Competitors will be drawn from the ranks of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, with the possibility of including a surprise entrant—perhaps a former WWE star making a dramatic return. Fans can expect intense matchups and unforgettable moments as the journey to the championship showdown unfolds! The draw is tonight.

Penta is on his way to the ring in singles action against El Grande Americano. Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano are at the ringside. Penta wins, even though Americano tried everything to help steal the win.

Lyra/Bayley is facing the Kaboki Warriors in tag team action. Kaboki Warriors got the win; they tried for a post-match beatdown, but Charlotte/Alexa showed up to stop it.

Dirty Dom was in the ring running his mouth as usual. Mid-sentence, Rey Mysterio’s music started. Waiting to see if Rey is medically cleared. He has been out since just before WrestleMania earlier this year. (I am getting bored with the Eddie is my Dad story.)

Oh, geesh, Becky just showed up. Becky has lost the plot. (Heel Becky)

Men’s RAW Tag Team belts are on the line with AJ and Dragon Lee defending them against JD and Finn from Judgement Day. This will get wild, you can bet on it. Dirty Dom is out to help JD/Finn anyway he can to win the belts back. Dom’s trying to help has backfired in spectacular fashion. Dragon Lee/AJ retain the titles.

**Last time is now Tourney — Rusev faces Damien Priest. Shinsuke Nakamura faces off against Sheamus. Kick Aldis draws the next two rounds on SmackDown.

Charlotte/Alexa defend the tag titles against Kaboki Warriors. Stephanie is putting the world title on the line against Raquel.

Jey Uso is on his way to the ring to join with CM Punk, taking on Braun/Bronson in tag action. This match is falling apart as we speak. All bets are off. The Brauns will destroy everyone who gets in their way. Logan Paul just took out CM Punk with the brass knuckles. Paul just handed Heyman his brass Knuckles.
