Hell in a Cell 2021

Natalya facing Mandy Rose in a pre show match. Dana Brooks/Tamina are in their respective corners. It was a solid match with no interference from the outside. It would be Natalya getting the win Thanks to the figure 4 sharpe shooter.

Smackdown is up first with the Women’s Singles Title is up for grabs as Bianca Belair defending her title against Bayley. Bayley in the ring first. Bayley is the first to go for a chair. Bayley has taken out Bianca for now, Bianca trying to get feeling back in her shoulder/elbow. It’s a seesaw match, Bayley/Bianca both have little glimmers but the other manages to shut it down. Bianca used her braid to tie herself to Bayley and dish out some serious punishment. A kiss of Death on a ladder will get you the win any day in my book.

Cesaro facing Seth Rollins. Seth/Cesaro started going after each other before the bell had even rung. Seth trying to stomp Cesaro but keeps finding answers. /They keep stalking each other but it was Cesaro sent Seth Swinging. Rollins stole one with an inside cradle.

**Money in the Bank (July 18) — 4 weeks from tonight. First Pay Per View on the road.

Alexa Bliss facing Shayna Blazer (Nia is in Shayna’s corner) — (Alexa is just creepy to say the least.) That match was just weird but Alexa with the win. Going to be interesting to see what happens at Summer Slam, wondering if Wyatt might return then?

Kevin Owens going up against Sami Zayne — It’s time Kevin puts him away once and for all. Some how it was Sami with the win. The throat injury from Kevin’s match 2 night ago did not help. Still struggling to breath. (*that match was kind of a dude in my book)

A recap of Roman/Rey Mystero match from Friday night, which was also in a cell. (I am still not a fan of the Roman story line. It’s not changing, even a little bit. Let’s bully everyone because I am the best and you will stroke my ego.)

Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte for the RAW Women’s title. This will be another one if the title changes hands I wont get. Rhea just go here. It’s time for the new kids to step up. Rhea keeps the belt due to a DQ. (Charlotte would of done the exact same thing to make sure she kept the title, I have seen her do it in the past.)

No titles have changed hands tonight but some good matches have taken place.

***MAIN EVENT — Drew McIntyre facing Bobby Lashley for the RAW Men’s title. Even M.V.P has gotten involved but Drew took him out of the equation. Bobby/Drew have both had mini moments dishing out pain. Even the Ref needed to be replaced. THANKS to M.V.P and tights being held, Lashley is STILL the champ. Drew has to wait until the title changes hands. Unless. . . Drew wins Money in the Bank.

NXT – Take Over – In Your House

The matches put together for this Pay Per View will be interesting. I have no clue what to expect.

**Match 1 — Winner takes all. Bronson Reed/MSK putting the titles on the line against Legado Del Fantasma. The match did fall apart, with Fantasma trying every dirty trick in the book but it was not meant to be today as MSK/Bronson Reed keep the titles.

**Match 2 — Mercedes Martinez meeting Xai Lee — The challenge made by Xai. They met 4 years ago in the May Young Classic with Mercedes getting a huge win. That was a hell of a kick that even made the Ref cringe. It took Xia knocking out Mercedes to get the win. I have a feeling this feud is not over.

**Match 3 — Its the Million Dollar match between L.A.Knight/Cameron Grimes. I can’t stand either one of them but if I have to chose I am going with Knight. (Grimes grates on me like nails on a chalk board) This match is a ladder match. Climb the ladder/ retrieve the Million Dollar Belt. After sending Cameron flying off a ladder, when he had his finger prints on the case, L.A was able to climb the ladder.

**Match 4 — Ember Moon facing off against Raquel Gonzalez for the Women’s NXT Women’s Title. (Dakota Kai is in Raquel’s corner so you know its not going to be a fair fight) The Women are doing their best to steal the show so far. Shotzi Blackheart has shown up to equal things out. It was not meant to be for Ember, she pushed Raquel to limits no one had before tonight.

**Match 5 — It’s time for the fatal 5 way with Johnny Gargano, Kyle O’Reilly, Pete Dunne, Adam Cole, Title holder Karon Kross. This can go anyway. It’s been near fall, after near fall, this match is not disappointing. Kross is back in action, everyone is trying everything they have and still cant bring Kross down. Karon takes one hell of a beating with managing to knock out Kyle to keep the belt. Everyone gave 100% plus in this match trying to get rid of Kross, then go after each other. I have no idea how Kross has managed to hold on to the belt today. I was so sure that this would be the belt to change hands today.

Mr. Regal walked out with one of the reporters who ask him what he thought about tonight’s show? William replied ” I have never seen so much, bedlam, in NXT, maybe its time for a change. (Mr. Regal just walked away in a daze, disappointment. to be honest I am not sure. )

Taking a Break

I am taking a break from weekly blogging WWE. It’s been a struggle to find an audience on a weekly basis.

I love WWE but I am not loving some of the storylines right now.

If you have not heard the news the WWE is heading back on the road starting in July.

I will continue to cover the Pay Per Views as they take place.

I have also been able to develop some new projects, and finish some others.

Wrestlemania Backlash

**Kickoff show

Sheamus giving an open challenge. He refuses to put the title on the line. Ricochet has answered the call. Ricochet took it to Sheamus, this one he had to earn. Ricochet came at Sheamus once again, screaming at Sheamus that he is coming for the U.S title.

RAW Woman’s Title on the line to open the show tonight as Rhea Ripley/Asuka/Charlotte go to battle. The new class is here with Rhea holding the belt/I currently see no reason why to take the belt from Rhea. It’s time for some new bloody. (I will be extreamly disappointed in the WWE if they put the belt back on Charlotte, it’s time for the new class of kids) (Shut up Cory)It was a hell of a match with Rhea coming out on top. Charlotte hit Asuka with a nasty kick, sending her back in the ring but Charlotte fell off the apron, giving Rhea the chance to hit Asuka with a riptide for the win.

Smackdown Tag Team belts between Rey/Dom Mystero facing the Dirty Dogs (Dolph Ziggler/Robert Roode)(Dom has not been cleared, waiting to see if Rey has a partner) Rey is on his own, This match makes no sense but, I keep thinking that Dom will come to the ring. I told you , here comes Dom. Robert/Dolph will make a mistake. That turned into a hell of a match, the WWE has their first Father/Son Tag Team Champions. (I know it was storyline but it was a great match)

Damian Priest facing The Miz in as Lumber Jack Match. Lumber Jacks are Zombies. (Kinda funny in a way) With this trademark, Bell Clap, Damian with the win. Zombies have gone after Miz.

**Hell in a Cell will take place on June 20

Smackdown Women’s Title defense for Bianca Belair facing Bayley. (Bayley saying that it’s her title, Bianca is not good enough to hold the title) Bayley still screaming trash at Bianca. Nothing like a kick to the face to shut up Bayley. Bayley screaming that Bianca cheated when it was Bayley that had used Bianca’s braid, to leverage a win.

RAW Men’s Championship Match in a triple threat with Drew facing Bobby Lashley facing Braun Strowman. This is another one that could go anyway. Only 1 title change so far, I can’t see any more but who knows. Drew just got rid of Bobby Lashley throwing him through the L.E.D board. Now it’s Braun/Drew. The Universe chanting that this is AWESOME and I have to agree. It’s one hell of a match. Lashley out of NO WHERE, getting rid of Drew and pinning Braun for the win. I can’t see this feud between Drew and Bobby being over anytime soon.

**Main Event — Cesaro facing Roman. (Waiting to see how much Jey will play a part in all of this). Roman has the advantage tonight but also with Jey Uso, who can show up and cause issues. (IF Jey shows up, its a crap match. If not I might give it some credit.) (today , I am glad I am NOT in the Thunderdome, this is so intense) Finally, Roman has had to get up and work his butt off in a match, I have to admit it is working on being the match of the night. Cesaro took Roman past his limits but it would be Roman to hold on. Cesaro has nothing to be ashamed of, he was truly amazing. (this is rubbish, Jey going after Cesaro after everything he has been through) Why is Seth coming to the ring? (former Shield Brothers) (what a CRAP end to this! you should hear the “You Suck” chants by the universe)

Smackdown Goes Retro

This should be interesting. Going back to the 90’s for the night.

The first title match was The Rock facing Triple H.

Here come’s the boos from the Thunder dome, Roman has new entrance music. Roman requested a 10 bell salute in honor of Daniel being Banished. Jimmy Uso is now back (jimmy out with a knee issue) just another henchman for Roman.

Cesaro out telling Roman you can never replace, Daniel but he gets jumped from behind by Seth Rollins. Teddy Long is overseeing Smackdown for the night. Cesaro has to beat Seth to have a match with Roman at Wrestlemania Backlash. Thanks to Jimmy Uso sticking his nose in, Cesaro now gets a title shot. (the Uso tried to help Seth and he refused) (Jimmy just told Roman he is no body’s Bitch)

Ruby Riott facing Carmella in singles action. Carmella forces Ruby to tap out.

Bayley facing Bianca Belair at Wrestlemania Backlash. Bayley chatting about those ladies who have come before. (Bayley staying in heel mode, its been a huge change but she is playing it well. I am not a fan anymore)

Jimmy Uso just told Jey that Roman is champion thanks to him.

Dolph Ziggler facing Rey Mysterio. (Even the Ref’s are wearing 90’s shirts)Dominick takes Rey place and steals the win.

Tomina is a match with Reginald (at his request) it didn’t end well for Tomina/Natalya with there being a tag team title match next week. It was out to hurt Tomina before the match.

10 man tag team match with The Street Profits/Shinsuke/Kevin Owens/Big E facing Samy Zayne/King Corbin/Otis/Chad Gabel/Apollo Crews. I knew at some point with all of those egos in the ring it would fall apart, its broken down. This match totally broke down, King Corbin made the tag with Shinsuke not realizing. Corbin pinning Shinsuke with an End of Days.

Roman, talking to Jey Usos, wanting to find out where Jimmy Usos actually stands. Jimmy had footage played from Hell in a Cell, the I Quit match. Roman, tells Jimmy to either get behind him or go home. Once the ring was cleared, Cesaro nailed Roman, Cesaro precedes to handle business and take out everyone.

RAW May 3/May 4

Recapping last week when Braun beat Drew for the right to make the title match a triple threat at Backlash. Braun facing Bobby Lashley tonight

A.J Styles/Omos on the way to the ring. The New Day out for a rematch. Omos in the ring which is a joke. A.J is in the ring, which makes it more of a fair fight for now. Once again, its a joke. A.J and Omos keep the belts for now.

(shut up Cory) Can you tell I can’t stand him.

Charlotte on her way to the ring, to face Dana Brooke. Sonya on her way to the ring, I can see where this is going, Mandy Rose to get suspended, just for what Charlotte did. Sonya is trying to add Charlotte to Rhea’s title match at Backlash. The simple thing is that Charlotte DID NOT earn her way in to the match.

(is it just me or are the let’s use the bullying storylines right now, cause its how it feels. )

Damian Priest facing John Morrison in singles action. Needless to say, Miz cost Morrison the match.

Mansoor has signed with WWE RAW.

Tag team action has us looking at Matt Riddle/Randy Orton facing Jaxon Ryder/Elias. Randy is so far working well, with Matt but for how long. The boys are 2 and 0.

Sheamus in the ring, facing Mansour.

Naomi/Lana in tag action against Nia/Shayna.

Fingers crossed that Braun can beat Bobby tonight. Drew watching at ringside. Needless to say, it was Bobby with the win. Drew hit Braun with a claymore

Smackdown April 30/May 1

Big question tonight is did Daniel Bryan beat Roman to stay on Smackdown?

Bianca Belair on her way to the ring, I look for Bayley to show up and spoil this. (Bianca has earring in the shape of the front of the title.) Told you Bayley would show up, who just got decked by Bianca.

Mix Tag Team as Street Profits/Bianca face off against Bayley/Dirty Dogs. Complete team effort, it was a work of art. Complete insanity but the win to the Street Profits/Bianca

Natalya/Tomina meeting once again Nia Jax/Shayna in tag team action. Once again, things fell apart for Nia/Shayna. This win for Natalya/Tomina should give them a title shot for sure at some point.

Big E taking on Apollo Crews fore the Intercontinental Title. Of course Commander stepped in just as it looked like Big E was about to win the title. Kevin Owens showed up going after the Commander after getting the “Nail” last week. Sami Zayne showed up for what reason I have no clue.

Daniel Bryan facing Roman Reigns to save his job. We all knew how this would end but using a 2 folding chairs on Daniel as Cesaro was held back by Jey Uso not able to help him. I have no clue if this is story related or this really is the end for Bryan. It was a crappy way to go if it really is the end for Bryan. I hope the story line is working for you because its not for me. Getting board with Roman already.

NXT — April 27/28

Adam Cole returns for an interview, post Stand and Deliver.

The show is opening with Dakota Ki going into battle against Mercedes Martinez. Kai is pushing Martinez to her limits but if Kai pulls this off I will be surprised. Raquel interfered giving Mercedes the win.

Ember/Shotzi in tag team action. Defending the Tag Team belts next week against Candace LeRae/Indi Hartwell

Grizzled Young Veterans running off at the mouth that they are running the tag team division. Timothy Thatcher, Tommaso Ciampa causing problems.

Toni Storm in the ring but more worried about Zoey Stark, (feel sorry for the gal in the ring tonight) Thanks to Zoey, Toni just got beat.

Bronson Reed on his way to face Austin Theory. Bronson Wins, he will get a title shot against Johnny Gargano. Thanks to some help from Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed will meet Johnny Gargano for the North American Title.

MSK with Kushida facing Del Gato Fantasma. If you blink your going to miss the action. Its fast and furious. It got extreamly mess but it was Del Gat Fantasma doing anything and everything to make sure they got the win.

RAW April 26/27

Wish Backlash coming it has become interesting of late to see what rematches might take place/what new storylines will start.

Mace/T-Bar on the way to the ring. I recognize T-Bar, he was Dominick Dijavoch from NXT , Mace is directly from WWE. Braun in a two on one match. Drew is out helping Braun this time. What was a 2 on 1 is now a tag team, Drew/Braun on the same page for now. Drew with a clothesline that was meant for T-Bar, Braun got instead.

The New Day/Damian Priest facing Elias/Jackson Ryker/Miz in 6 man tag team. I have no clue how Xavier kicked out of that. Gee, that was just a big mess but The New Day with Damian Priest steal the win.

Sonya Deville in the ring, Introducing Charlotte, who (according to storyline) got fined/ with a suspension. (according to Sonya, Charlotte has been re-instated)

Sheamus on his way to the ring. Let’s see who he beats up this week. Humberto out again taking it to Sheamus. Call it payback form last week.

Braun beats Drew tonight/Braun is added to the Title match at Wrestlemania Backlash

Randy Orton/Riddle (R.K Bro) facing Cedric Alexander/Shelton Benjamin — with a little work together, the got the win over Alexander/Benjamin

Asuka/Naomi/Lana facing Rhea Ripley/Nia Jax/Shayna in 6 women tag but I can’t see this going according to plan. It did go according to plan with a little bit of interference from Mandy Rose/Dana with Rhea/Nia/Shayna getting the win

Charlotte facing Mandy Rose. Charlotte with the win, the ref that had to apologize to Charlotte earlier did her match tonight.

Drew facing Braun with the stipulation that if Braun wins its a triple threat match at Backlash. With help from T-Bar and Mace, Braun is off to Backlash, in a triple threat match for the RAW Men’s title

Smackdown April 23/24

Recap of last weeks show with Roman/Cesaro. Jey Uso in a match with Cesaro and Seth Rollins ambushes Cesaro just as he is about to win the match.

Cesaro was ready to have a chat in the ring but here comes Seth. Jey Uso out to tell Cesaro he is nothing. Daniel Bryan out to have Cesaro’s back. OK, Daniel called out Roman and here he comes. Roman out calling everyone a loser. (my opinion: why is it the bully storyline seems to be allowed to happen)

Tag Team match Cesaro/Daniel Bryan facing Jey Uso/Seth Rollins

Nia Jax facing Tamina — interference from Reggie/Shayna somehow helped Tamina get the pin. Shayna/Nia are falling apart.

Kevin Owens facing Apollo Crews (it’s interesting with Apollo as a heel) (his captain at ringside) for the Intercontinentional Title — It’s a 2 on one match. No change of title but Big E finally gets his rematch next week

Bailey calling Bianca Belair a joke. That she is useless as a title holder and that at Backlash Baily will put Bianca in her place, taking the Smackdown Women’s Title.

Dom/Rey Mystero facing Chad Gable/Otis for a possible shot at the Tag Team Belts. Mystero’s with the win.

Cesaro/Daniel Bryan in the ring waiting an answer from Roman. Cesaro wanted the title shot but it was Daniel who got the offer. Roman told Daniel that he can’t stand him, that once Roman wins Daniel is to leave Smackdown for good
