NXT April 20/21

More fallout from Stand and Deliver with Kyle O’Reily to address the NXT crowd. Kyle deciding what he wants to do next. Does he go after the North American title or does he go on a hunt for Karrion Kross but in the middle, Cameron Grimes walked out. Kyle is cleared to compete, who will be meeting Cameron Grimes in a match later on.

Sarray from Japan will debut against Zoey Stark — Zoey ask for the match. This has turned into a really good match. Sarray with the win but Zoey gave her one hell of a fight.

L.A Knight facing Dexter Lumis — Knight steals the win because of Dexter falling for Indi Hartwell. The way just carried Indi off, Dexter not happy.

Io Shirai in a chat with Beth.

Breezango facing the Grizzled Young Veterans handle the boys easy for the win.

Kushida with an open challenge. Oney Lorcan out with do battle with Kushida. Oney tapped out. M.S.K in to help Kushida, who were jumped by Del Gato Fantasma, with Santos Escobar.

Ever Rise in the ring facing Imperium

Kyle O’Reily facing Cameron Grimes — Kyle worked his backside off, over coming so much. It was a hell of a match, worried a couple of times there with Kyle’s neck but in the end he was not going to be denied the win.

RAW for April 19/20

I made the Thunder Dome today, let’s play catch up

Drew to the ring, (I have my suspicions that Mace/ T Bar have been hired by M.V.P to make sure , Drew doesn’t make it to Wrestlemania : Backlash)

The Viking Raiders starting to run over the tag team division taking on Cedric/Shelton in a tag team match. The Raiders get the decisive win.

Matt Riddle heading to a match with Randy at Randy’s Request. It was a brilliant match with Matt literally stealing the win.

Lana/Naomi in tag team action against Shayna/Nia. This match up is always one sided. Lana has improved working with Naomi. Here comes Mandy Rose/Dana Brooke for a little bit of fun. (It helps Naomi/Lana get a well needed win)

The Miz with Maryse in the ring. (Get a room you 2)

Kofi facing off against Elias. It was an even match but Kofi made a mistake giving Elias the win.

Drew in his two on one with T-Bar and Mace losing their mask, ganging up on Drew. Braun Strowman comes out to help Drew but its not enough. (Cory just needs to go away for good)

The Sheamus spot was a waste in my book.

Charlotte in the ring, to talk more about how she missed out on the title. Rhea and Asuka joined Charlotte in the ring for a chat with Asuka/Charlotte going to battle later tonight. Charlotte’s temper tantrum cost her $100,000 and an independent suspension.

Smackdown Catch up

I wanted to give you a catch up of Smackdown, I got a seat in the Thunder dome. More Fallout from Wrestlemania. Needless to say that Roman is still the Titleholder. (not a fan of the storyline but he is playing the part well)

Micheal Cole welcomes Pat McAfee to the announcers desk

Top the very loud chorus of BOOS, Roman Jey and Paul entered the Dome. Cesaro has come to the ring, wanting a match with Roman but they walk away laughing about it.

Otis taking on Rey Mysterio — IN the last couple of match it has been all Otis getting over on Rey. The weight difference alone puts things in Otis favor. Rey using Otis own weight against him stealing the win.

Kayla had a chat with Paul/Cesaro would wind up face Jey Uso before Roman would even consider things. There is a lot of talk that Jey is doing the dirty work so Roman doesn’t have to work.

Sami Zayne facing Kevin Owens — this was short and sweet as Sami walked away not wanted the beating that Kevin would give him. (Kevin won by count out)

Street Profits out for their match with the Dirty Dogs for the belts BUT they would hold on to them. They also came out to celebrate Bianca Belair’s title win (Belair married in real life to Montez Ford)**(Bianca/Sasha are the first 2 women of color to main event Wrestlemania, competing for a belt) (Bianca very encouraging, positive message to Women, everyone has some e.s.t in them, find it and be proud of what you do)

Natalya/Tamina facing Shayna/Nia in singles action.. (Nattie/Shayna)Nattie steals the win but Nia and Tamina get involved.

Jey Uso faced off against Cesaro in what should have been a good match but it was Seth in the end who played spoiler.

I had to record the show today, playing catch up

Show opening with Karrion Kross/Scarlet in the ring. Kross was just too strong for Finn to stop. Have to give Finn credit though because he gave it one hell of a fight. Going to be interesting what they do with Kross/Scarlet. Karrion giving Finn credit for the fight he gave him. Calling the crowd feisty. (I have a feeling this is gong to be a long run)

Recap of the most watched NXT: Take over in history.

Alicia Taylor introducing the new Tag Team champions M.S.K. defending the tag team titles against Killian Dane/Derrick Maverick. No surprise that M.S.K kept the belts.

Imperium setting up Killian Dane. Looking like they are going to try and take over the Tag Team Division.

Recap of the match between Adam Cole/Kyle O’Riley. It was an unsanctioned match, anything and everything was legal until someone could pin the other. As the boys were being wheeled into the Emergency Room, Adam is screaming at Kyle that he is NOT finished with him, that is will finish him once and for all.

Mercedes Martinez facing Jessi Kamea ins singles action.

Santos Escobar would issue an open challenge with Del Gato Famiasma at ring side. Kushida answers the call and wins the title.

Raquel in the ring with Dakota but gets a visit from Rhea and Bianca who all now hold the 3 Women’s Titles. (Pretty cool to see the changing of the guard as the ladies advance)

Roderick Strong leaving NXT. Mr. Regal told Roddie that he was welcome back anytime.

Leon Ruff facing Swerve Scott. Swerve wins this round but by no means is Ruff finished with him.

8 person tag team — The way (Johnny Gargano, Candace, Indi, Austin facing Bronson Reed, Dexter Lumis, Ember Moon , Shotzi Blackheart) After Indi got Dexter to carry her away it was left to Ember,. Shotzi and Bronson to get the win. It was no where near a normal tag match but a lot of silliness thrown in. Bronson, Ember and Shotzi got the job done.

Fallout on RAW from Wrestlemania

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens, any surprise returns, things setting up for the next pay per view.

Condolences to Jeff and Matt Hardy on the passing of their Father.

Bobby Lashely on his way to the ring, no doubt to brag about his win last night. The Universe is giving him a healthy BOO. It’s too one-sided the way this is going.

Cedric Alexander/Shelton Benjamin facing The Viking Raiders.

Asuka in a rematch with Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s Belt. They don’t count on the return of Charlotte Flair causing issues. A headbutt by Rhea into a turnbuckle gets Asuka off her back. Charlotte has interfered causing Rhea to keep the belt.

Alexa’s playground. (Alexa helped Randy get a win over Bray) (Alexa has done some of her best work with this story, its been creepy but WOW) Going to be interesting to see how they take her from here. Will she try and get rid of the fiend for good or how will things play out? Only time will tell.

Miz T.V with Maryse. MIz bragging that it was him that taught Bunny what he needed for their match. Damian out, correcting Miz, that it was Bunny put in the work and trained everyday. Damian Priest out correcting Miz about what really happened. Damien challenged them to a 2 on 1 handicapped match. Needless to say it was a 3 on 1 with Maryse out there helping the boys. This wont be over by a long shot.

Mandy Rose/Dana Brooke facing Nia Jax/Shayna Baszler

Randy Orton/Drew McIntyre/Braun in a triple threat match for the #1 contender sport for Backlash Wrestlemania.

The New Day out talking to Elias/Jaxon Ryder about the whooping they got at Wrestlemania. The trash talking lead to a match that the New Day wins.

The was just weird — Firefly Fun House

Triple Threat match between Drew/Braun/Randy to see who faces Bobby Lashley at Backlash Wrestlemania. Drew wins the triple threat for the right to have the rematch at Backlash : Wrestlemania. (Why are T-Bar and Mace causing issues)

Wrestlemania 37 Night 2

Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil out to open the second night.

I was not expecting this match to open night two — Randy Orton facing The Fend (Alexa Bliss) I have no idea who this one will go, it creeps me out to say the least. (I have been in the Thunderdome when Alexa has come out and that was creepy enough) So far everything Randy has tried has not worked. Randy just pinned The Fend but can we give Alexa the assist. (she was on top of the box, Fend made his entrance in) Lights out and they both disappeared. (I am at a total loss on this one)

Natalia/Tamina on the way to the ring to face the Tag Team Champions Nia Jax/Shayna Baszler. I still dont know how they managed to keep the tag belts. Looks like Nia/Shayna are going to hold them for a while. This match actually could of gone either way. (I am NO fan of Shayna)

Kevin Owens facing Sami Zayne — My money is on Kevin. I have never been a Sami fan. Kevin took everything Sami had to offer but in the end, Fight Owens Fight came back to haunt Sami with Kevin taking home the win.

Sheamus challenging Matt Riddle for the United States Title. I love Matt, can he hold his own with Sheamus, sure but Sheamus is a nasty piece of work. Sheamus can turn on you in a second. Matt is holding his own with Sheamus, not afraid to fly. It’s been very physical, they are both going to feel it tomorrow. Sheamus wins the belt, catching Matt in mid air to slow him down. Matt made him earn it, final shot of Riddle showed him spitting up some blood or a bloody mouth.

It’s Big E facing Apollo Crews in a Nigerian Drum match. Having to look it up, its basically a No Disqualify match. (No Rules., No Limitations) Not use to seeing Big E fly like that. Apollo Crews with a plot to make sure he won the match. (worse match of the night for me)(Apollo could not do it on his own, he needed help).

Asuka meeting Adelaide’s own Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women’s Title. That was a hell of a match. It went back and forth but in the end it would be Rhea with the win. I can see this being a set up for a feud with possibly Charlotte.

Daniel Bryan/Edge/Roman Reigns — in a triple threat match. Bryan out first/ Edge next — he seems to be the crowd favorite. Roman on his way to the ring. Jey interfering making sure that Roman has kept the belt on many occasions. I think they finally got rid of Jey Uso. I can see this being a seesaw battle, the announce area looks like a battle field. It was a hell of a battle but Roman pins both Edge and Bryan to keep the belt. Just remember that it was JEY who took a big part of the beating also.

Wrestlemania 37 Night 1

**Pre Show with Kayla Braxton hosting. ON the Panel is J.B.L/Jerry Lawler/Booker T/Peter Rosenberg

It has been 1 year/1 month/1 day since we have been at a live event. A weather delay due to lighting in the area. They have ask fans to move into covered area’s until the all clear. Mike/Joe in rain ponchos with everything covered to protect things from the rain.

Titus O’Neil/Hulk Hogan hosting

The show opens with Bobby Lashley/Drew McIntyre — This match will defiantly be interesting to say the least. It can be over quick or it can go for a bit. (Drew/Bobby are pacing with the delay) Why leave the belt on Bobby, no earthly reason. I can see this getting boring. Unless they put Braun in the mix.

Naomi/Lana facing Carmella/Billie Kaye in the tag team turmoil. Carmella/Billie Kay stole the win. Riott Squad next out to see if they can continue on. (Carmella got caught this time) Riott Squad continue. Mandy Rose/Dana Brooke out. Natalya/Tamina the next to the ring. It will be Natalya/Tamina facing Nia/Shayna for the Women’s Tag Team Belts.

Cesaro facing Seth Rollins — Will Seth go swinging? Seth went swinging giving Cesaro the win. It was an even match but Cesaro kept the slight edge to get the win.

The New Day with the RAW tag team titles facing A.J Styles. Another one sided match by some power guy that needs to face Braun, not the New Day, we all knew the belts would change hands on this one. This match was a JOKE.(worse match of the night)

Braun Strowman/Shane in a Steal Cage — Shane out first. Not surprised with Ryker/Elias jumping Braun before he even got in the cage. Just another rubbish match. Braun won, thank goodness

Hall of Fame 2020 Class being honored.

Bad Bunny/Damian Priest facing The Miz/Morrison — MIz thought it would be an easy match and they would have their way but Bunny/Damian would have other ideas as they held their own, with Bunny pinning Miz for the win.

Tonight’s Main Event is Smackdown’s Women’s Title match with Sasha Banks facing Bianca Belair. I can’t wait for this match, it is going to be a good technical match. My money is on Bianca, I think she can do it. Bianca is gong to have to think a couple of steps ahead to create an advantage. You can see that Bianca has strength over Sasha. You can see Sasha getting frustrated. Bianca held her own, no matter what Sasha threw at her she had an answer.

Smackdown to Open Wrestlemania

Show opened with a recap of last weekend, when Daniel Bryan went to that place. Daniel is opening the show. 9 years ago Daniel won the WWE title in a triple threat match, question is Can Daniel do it again? Daniel is cutting a great promo.

Looks like the fatal 4 way for the tag team belts is starting early. Coming out of commercial, things got organized and the match is going. If Dom/Rey win the titles, they will be the first father /Son team in his tory to hold the titles. The blind tag is what got the win for The Dirty Dogs (Ziggler/Roode)

Nia Jax on her way to the ring, Reginald and Shayne in her corner facing Tamina. Nia doubted Tamina but it all fell apart. I would love to see Tamina/Nia in a match with no one causing issues.

Edge in the ring cutting his promo for Sunday. Demanding respect. (Edge sitting in a chair, spotlight)

30 Andrea The Giant Battle Royal — Fitting a Smackdown wrestler wins with Jay Uso the winner. (not happy) Here comes Roman

Roman still in the ring to chants of “You Suck” form the Universe. Poor Baby, annoyed that he has to come to the ring. Roman says he has been consistent, he is not defending the belt week in and week out.

NXT Take over : Stand and Deliver Part 2

It’s part 2 of what should be an explosive night. With a new Women’s champion along with Tag Team champions, we need to be prepared for anything.

**Pre Show match is between Breezango facing Killian Dane/Drake Maverick for the right to be #1 contender to the Tag Team belts. The most unorthodox offense but it was Dane/Maverick with the win for the right to face MSK for the Tag Belts.

The Ladder match to unify the Cruiserweight title is opening night 2 with Jordan Devlin facing Santos Escobar. I think this will be the night that the unexpected will surprise all of us. (The first ladder match in NXT History) It’s been a hell of a battle. Even with Santo’s goons its been a hell of a fight but in the end after pushing Jordan Devlin off the top of the ladder, Santos was able to grab both titles for the win.

It’s the Women’s Tag Team titles on the line as Shotzi Blackheart/Ember Moon face off against Candace LeRae/Indi Hartwell. The way jumped Shotzi/Ember before the bell even rang. Even the Women of NXT are showing that they are just as good as the Men with hard fought quality matches. This is one you need to watch and enjoy, Shotzi /Ember defend their titles.

North American title on the line between Johnny Gargano facing South Australia’s own Bronson Reed (Blackwood) (Austin Theory is at ringside, lets see if he causes any issues?) Bronson is holding his own but Johnny has been working on the ab muscles which have been slowing Bronson down. It was a great match, Bronson did everything he possibly could, even with a little help from Austin Theory, Gargano still holds the belt but I hope that Bronson gets his hands on him again. Bronson will hold a belt one day.

It’s the first of the 2 main events tonight as we settle in to watch Karrion Kross face Finn Balor for the NXT Men’s title. It’s not going to be a pretty match by any means, it will be ugly and they will be out to hurt each other by any means. (My money is on Finn but I have to expect anything tonight.) (Finn use to bring out the Demon, I think he is going to have to go beyond that place tonight) Finn is at a 95 pound weight disadvantage. Kross worse enemy is his emotions, Karrion is known for making mistakes when he lets his emotions get the better of him. (Finn working on the left shoulder which is the one that was dislocated and had surgery) IN the end it was not Finn’s day as he was out powered by Karrion. It was a hell of a match, give Finn the credit for holding on as long as he did. Finn made sure that Karrion did not have an easy time at all. The Universe is not happy that Karrion won. (will be interesting to see what happens to Finn?)

The 2nd main event as Kyle O’Riley facing Adam Cole. It is an unsanctioned match by NXT, which means Mr. Regal and NXT are not responsible for the outcome of the match. This is going to get extreamly ugly, someone is going to get hurt if not both of them. I am not a real fan of either of them but I dislike Adam Cole more. Hoping Kyle can hold his own in this. The Ref is only there for the count which must take place in the ring. I’m not board but its a slow moving match, watching what each other is trying to do to end the career of the other. Adam with the usual trash talk, Kyle throwing punches. Both are having a hard time standing. Adam tried to end Kyle’s career with a double chair shot but Adam hit the Ref and knocked him out. Cole pinned Kyle but no ref to count.

Kyle/Adam have gone through a floor panel. I have no clue how in the world these two are still standing. The ref is finally awake. How is Kyle still going? Thanks to the payback of a low blow to Adam Cole, Kyle finally shuts up Adam Cole and pins him. (ref is telling Adam not to move, you can see Adam is in pain. Waiting on help to get to the ring)

Some how Kyle is on his feet but Adam is being carried out by Medical staff.

This was one hell of a second night. Not sure how they are going to top this one. Will be interesting to see the medical list after this show.

Hall of Fame

Classes 2020 and 2021 will be entering tonight. Jerry Lawler is the host for tonight’s event.

Each inductee is having their package shown. Jerry introduces them.

5th — Nikki/Brie Bella — Twin Magic. The Twins started the Evolution, worked their backsides off to get the women where they are today. (the first pair of Women being inducted)

1st — J.B.L — was in character. Shared a couple of stories how he and Ron Simmons got together.

3rd — Jusan Thunder Lauger — On feed from Japan

4th — William Shatner — Was a guest at Wrestlemania/Summer Slam Celebrity Wing. Accepting from his house in Canada.

2nd — Davey Boy Smith — The second inductee. Accepting is Harry, Georgia and his wife Dianna.

6tyh — N.W.O — Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, SYXX, Scott Hall

Warrior Award — Titus O’Neal

Legacy Hall of Fame — Ray Stevens, Brickhouse Brown, Steve Williams, Baron Michele Leone, Manager Gary Hart,

Class of 2021 host were Kayla Braxton and Corey Graves

Class of 2021 — Rob Van Damn. (He looks pretty good, wearing all black and a bright pink tie) Talked about losing his Dad but going to an event, not sharing with anyone what he was dealing with how the fans helped him get through that tough time.

Molly Holly — Still a Babe after all these years. Molly was the start of the revolution, doing things that no one else was doing. She held the Hardcore Title at one point. (Molly would stay behind, helping the crew breakdown to be a part of their world. Learning from them)

The Great Kahali — Helping to train the new class coming out of India. Joined the event from India.

Ozzy Osbourne — into the Celebrity Wing. Joining the event from his home in California

Legacy Hall of fame — Dick the Bruiser, Pez Whatley, Buzz Sawyer, Ethel Johnson, Paul Boesch

Eric Bischoff — Started the Monday Night Wars. Joined the NWO. Thanking those giants who have come before to make the WWE what it is today. Thanked the Universe.

Warrior Award for 2021 Class — Rich Hering. Rich was an adviser to Vince’s Dad/and is an adviser to Vince also. (Rich married Randy/Elizabeth) They call him “The Problem Solver”

Kane (Glen Jacobs) — His Mom, Loved the Dentist character. Talked about family, missing all the special times with his girls. Talked about his first match with the Undertaker. The Undertaker/Kane Story is the best storyline ever told.
