Smackdown November 6/7

For those of you who are new to my blog, not sure about the date, I am watching from Australia. At the time of writing this, it’s November 7th, in the USA its November 6th.

**SURVIVOR SERIES TWO WEEKS FROM SUNDAY – Undertaker will be at the event for the final time.

*Medical update on Daniel Bryan after the post match beatdown from Jey Uso.

Show opening with a Smackdown Women’s title rematch. Bayley still saying that she will take back what is her’s.This time will be different. They are both going to have to dig deep to take the win. Sasha has champion’s rights here. Once again, Bayley has no choice but to tap out. It’s about time this story line ends for good. Carmella out with a sneak attack on Sasha.

Kayla Braxton talking to Jey Uso, a recap of how Jey injured Daniel Bryan last week, which sent Daniel home to recover with spinal injuries. This is a bullshit storyline. (IMO – using family tradition, bloodline I think can get to be a little much. They are pulling out all the stops to create Roman s the ultimate heel)

King Corbin in the ring, was supposed to face Rey Mysterio for a place on the Smackdown Survivor Series team. Seth out watching Rey’s match. (SHUT UP CORY)Corbin with a cheap shot on Dom. Thanks to Seth King Corbin with the win.

Natalya on her way to the ring. Nat is facing Ruby Riott/Zelina Vega in a triple threat match, I didn’t recognize Ruby, the long hair is all gone. Ruby snuck in to get Zelina to tap out.

Otis now on his own, Survivor Series qualifying match. Facing off against Seth Rollins. (Rey, Dom and Aaliyah watching backstage.) Murphy has gone to the ring, catching Seth off guard. Murphy has done nothing but stands there. OMG, Murphy helped Seth win his match. I have a feeling that Murphy is setting up Seth. Aaliyah has a screaming fit to Murphy but Murph told her to trust him.

Jey Uso at the ring. Forced to face Kevin Owens because of so called disrespect (Kevin made a joke) that Roman felt was wrong. Jey also got in trouble for talking to Kayla Braxton. Paul Heyman is out at the ring. Jey with a low blow to steal the win.

RAW for November 2/3

I am catching up with RAW on a delay. This is my views on the current storylines taking place. **Survivor Series is 2 weeks from Sunday.

Randy Orton opened the show. Randy will face Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. Heaps of booing from the Universe. I am not sure why they put the belt on Randy. I heard rumors they are trying to set a match between him and Edge at Wrestlemania. The hunter has now become the hunted with Drew McIntyre, The Miz both hot on his trail. Randy waffling on about how he is the best, he just called himself a legend. Randy dared anyone to come to get the belt, but here comes Alexa Bliss, You know The Fiend is close by. (I am actually liking Alexa in this part, she is cheeky, but can turn on you) I still can’t get past the Fiend, it’s like my worse nightmare. Out of nowhere, Drew hit a claymore, Miz tried to cash in but Drew stopped them. Drew is coming for the title.

Elias still complaining that Jeff Hardy was the one who hit him with a car. Jeff has been cleared. They are having a guitar on a pole match. The first one to climb the pole, retrieving it can use it. Jeff with the win, finally.

Dana/Mandy Rose facing Nia/Shayna for the Women’s Tag Belts. (Lana on her way to the ring, not sure why) Thanks to Lana, Titles could of changed hands. Lana got involved when there was no need for her to.

Bobby Lashley facing Samy Zayne at Survivor Series.

A.J on his way to the ring. A.J claiming he is the team Captain. Sheamus/Keith Lee have joined him in the ring. Braun Strowman has walked out. Triple threat match, Keith/Braun/Sheamus. These 3 massive humans are beating each other senseless. Braun is now on Team RAW for the Survivor series.

Firefly Funhouse.

Nia Jax facing Lana. Needless to say, Nia has her way with Lana. Lana going through another table. The Universe has had enough of Nia bullying Lana. 7 times through a table.

The Hurt Business out to the ring. The New Day out talking to the boys in the ring. New Day in a match with Cedric/Shelton from Hurt Business. Hurt Business with the win. Possible title match in the future.

Nikki and Alexa are done at least for now as a tag team.

Tucker facing off against Ricochet but Mustafia out to the ring. Ricochet make short work of Tucker. Retribution surrounding the ring, got rid of Ricochet and going after Tucker. (another story line that is making no sense)

The Miz/Morrison out to the ring, facing Drew.It’s been a back and forth battle but with 2 on 1 anything can happen. Drew winds up winning with a claymore kick to the Miz after getting rid of Morrison but Randy closes the night with an R.K.O

NXT Post Halloween Havoc

Ember Moon on her way to the ring, she has done a package rebrand now looking like she fits in with Mad Max. Dakota Kai (Raquel Gonzalez in Kai’s corner) Dakota has found her very nasty streak. Thanks to Raquel, Dakota with the win.

For hosting Halloween Havoc , Shotzi blackheart was gifted a choice of opponent by Mr. Regal. She chose toni Storm

Cameron Grimes facing Kushida. Kushida with the win, Grimes never really had a chance.

Io has issues a challenge to Rhea Ripley, a match one on one for the Women’s NXT Title.

Maverick/Dane facing Ever Rise. Pat McAfee and Crew has taken over the broadcast, beating up on Dane/Maverick. Calling out Undisputed Era, telling them they are over.

Toni Storm(Gold Coast Australia) out for her match with Shotzi Blackheart. Shotzi out without her tank. Came out screaming at Toni, about things going wrong. I wish shotzi had been in a better frame of mind, this could of been a really good match. Thanks to Candice LeRae, running over Shotzi’s tank with a monster truck. Even Toni was not sure what to think, trying to show Shotzi some support

Fallout on Smackdown from H.I.A.C

Who knows what’s going to happen with Jey/Jimmy Uso after the match with Roman. I have read a few things but I am just waiting to see what happens.

**The show is opening with Roman/Paul Heyman on the way to the ring. I hate this storyline. Jey said I quit for the only person he would protect, that is Jemmy. Roman just told Jey that by the end of the night Jey would fall into line. Jey screamed at Roman that he hates him, Roman said, for now, I get it. (I, for one can tell you right now I hate this storyline, using the Saoma heritage is going to have to be respected. I hit the mute button on the television, the Universe was booing louder than you could hear anyone speaking)

Dolph Ziggler facing Kevin Owens for the right to join the Smackdown Survivor Series Team. Robert Roode was at ringside but got caught by the ref and was tossed. Kevin Owens with a Stunner to earn his place on the Survivor series team.

Triple threat match — Natalya/Billie Kaye/Bianca Belair with the winner on the Women’s survivor series team. Bianca with the win, pinning Billie Kaye.

Murphy in the ring with Aaliyah, asking Rey and Dom to come to the ring so he can apologize to them. Aaliyah just told Rey and Dom that she loves Murphy.

Street Profits (will face the new day at survivor series) on way to the ring to face Cesaro/Shinsuke Nakamura.

Sasha Banks on her way to the ring with Bayley’s chair. (Sasha will face Asuka at survivor series)Bayley out to run her mouth off.

Daniel Bryan facing Jey Uso for the right to join the Men’s Survivor series team. Jey Uso with a healthy win, joining Kevin Owens on the Survivor Series Team. Roman came out, Jey finally gave in and joined Roman, Jey put Daniel through the announcer table(after Jey legally won the match), Roman just walked away smiling.

Halloween Havoc on NXT

Shotzi Blackheart is the host for the show.

Opening show match is Damian Priest vs Johnny Gargano. It’s a spin the wheel make the deal match. I’m in Damien’s corner for this one. Shotzi just spun the wheel. It’s a devil playground match. NO DQ falls count anywhere. The fire extinguisher Johnny used on Damian has slowed him down. Damian has taken everything that Johnny has dished out. With some help from the Grim reaper, a tomb Stone and a 10-foot fall, Johnny has stolen the North American belt from Damian. Damian will not be happy. The Universe is NOT liking this title change.

Pat Mcafee helped Lorcan/Birch stealing the tag team titles. Pat in the ring. Not sure how the Universe is reacting. It was Pat who called Rich Holland to take care of Pat. Kyle O’reilly is the only one of Undisputed Era taht is cleared, but h has brought Pete Dun with him as back up. Pete just handled Kyle a chair. This could get really ugly. Pete just took out Kyle. This should pretty well, take out all of Undisputed Era, setting up a new faction.

Jake Atlas facing Santo Escobar. Of course, once again, Escobar needs help from his idiots to keep the belt.

Haunted House of Terror has Cameron Grimes facing Dexter Lumis. Cameron Grimes found his way back to the Center but it’s still not looking good. Dexter just threw a zombie at Cameron Grimes, that was good. Night,Night Cameron.

Rhea Ripley facing Raquel Gonzalez — This should be good, they are evenly matched. Raquel took Rhea to hell but Rhea survived. I don’t think Rhea was expecting that Raquel would almost match her move for move, strength for strength.

Main Event is Io Shirai facing Candice LeRae. It’s a Table, Ladders and Scares match. Climb the ladder, take the title. They have beaten each other with everything possible in sight. Ringside is a total mess, with help from Shotzi, Io climbs the ladder to retain the Women’s title.

It was a small show but a good one. I wish the Racquel/Rhea match would of gone longer. I really would like to see them have a real test against each other.

It’s getting old with Santos Escobar holding the Cruiserweight Belt. With his goonies almost always at ringside, nothing is going to change.

I really want Damian to get the North American belt back, Johnny needs a can of whoopass opened on him, hope Damian gets to do it.

The fallout from Hell in a Cell

NO clue what the fallout is from what happened on Sunday.

Does the Universe realize that both main titles on RAW and Smackdown are held by Heels?

Survivor Series is November 22

Drew McIntyre is coming out, it’s all wrong that Drew doesn’t have the belt. Drew is in an unusually good mood. Here come’s The Miz with the stupid briefcase. Drew just headbutted Miz and Morrison.

Keith Lee vs Elias along with Matt Riddle vs Sheamus for a spot on the survivor series team. Aj. Styles facing Jeff in another qualifying match for survivor series. (A.J with the win)

Drew Gulak/Akira Tozawa facing the Lucha House Party in tag team action. Even with R-Truth interfering the Lucha House Party still gets the win.

Keith Lee facing Elias for the right to join the Survivor Series team. Elias needs to learn not to tick off Keith. congrats to Keith Lee with the enfactic win. Jeff Hardy with a guitar shot to Elias after his match with Keith.

**At Survivor Series Samy Zayne will face Bobby Lashley, its a tag team elimination match.

The Hurt Business facing Retribution. The Hurt Business are the last crew standing.

Drew McIntyre on his way to the ring to face The Miz BUT he will have Morrison with him, to help cause problems. Drew knocked out Morrison, checked the M.I.T.B breifcase and flattened The Miz.

**At Survivor Series The New Day will meet Street Profits, also Asuka will meet Sasha Banks. This should be good when Randy faces off against Roman.

Raw Women’s Team – Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Lana

Matt Riddle facing Sheamus for the right to join the RAW men’s survivor team. Sheamus with the win.

Randy Orton on the way for a chat with Alexa Bliss. Randy asking where the Fiend is but here comes Drew. He’s HERE — The Fiend.

The show ended with Randy/Drew going at each other. This feud is not over by a long shot.

Hell in a Cell

On the Kick off Show, it’s R-Truth facing Drew Gulak. 24/7 Title is on the line. I have no clue but R-Truth got the win, he even used 5 knuckle shuffle that John Cena made famous.

Jey Uso facing Roman Reigns is the opening match tonight. This is not going to be a pretty match. Roman is the heal with is a new thing, but using the Samoa bloodline in the story also, I waiting to see how things play out. I hope they give it the respect it deserves. I have read, I will call it a rumour that at some point Jimmy/Jey will fall in line behind Roman. I honestly don’t know what to think. Does Roman as a heal, holding the belt work? Time will tell. The only way this match can be stopped is for someone to say “I Quit” The Universe is making themselves known with the chorus of booing. Jey is OUT, Roman has totally lost the plot, They are trying to STOP the match, Jey is going to be seriously injured. After everything, Jey had to say “I quit” to save Jimmy. the Universe has not STOPPED booing since the match started.

Tom/Byron called the first match and now have been joined by Samoa Joe.

Elias/Jeff Hardy – This match came about when Sheamus set up Jeff Hardy on his return. Elias refuses to see any other information, is holding Jeff responsible for his injuries. Jeff got disqualified but it was good as Jeff used the guitar on Elias.

Otis facing The Miz with the winner getting the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Tucker/Morrison both at ringside. The Ref threw out Morrison for interfering but hit Otis with the case giving Miz the win.

Sasha Banks vs Bayley in Hell in a Cell for the Smackdown Women’s Title. (Sasha has been in 3 Cell matches, Bayley has NO experience) Bayley’s chair went flying. Plenty of trash talking. This match is won by Pin or Submit. They have beaten each other senseless. Bayley was forced to tap out. Sasha with the belt, she has never held the Smackdown Women’s Title. (It was time this storyline ended, today was fitting) Bayley’s lack of experience in one way played a part. Time to take the Smackdown women’s division in a new direction.

Bobby Lashley putting the United States title on the line against Slap Jack from Retribution. Bobby forced to Slap Jack to tap out. Bobby keeping the belt but Bobby was jumped by the rest of Retribution. The Hurt Business did come to Bobby’s aid.

Drew McIntyre facing Randy Orton – Randy trying to jump Drew before the bell has started. Drew knew what he was facing. The boys are not even in the ring yet. Door locked, the bell has rung, it’s on. I have never seen Drew this vicious before. The Universe is making their presence known, being extremely vocal. Randy found the bolt cutters, getting out. Randy and Drew are both on top of the cage. Drew has crashed through the announcer’s desk from the side of the cage. Randy is going to stop at nothing until he destroys Drew and takes the belt. Unfortunately, kids, this one does not end the way we hope it would. I am still not sure how Drew managed to get back in the ring after all of that. Drew tried a claymore kick but Randy managed to get out of the way, hitting with an RKO, giving Randy the win.

Does the Universe realize that both major titles are not being held by Heels?

Final Smackdown before Hell in a Cell

Kevin Owens to open the show, with his show on Smackdown. I don’t mind “this Kevin”. He is fun, even wearing a pre-tied tie. Daniel Bryan is Kevin’s guest. (back after paternity leave). Daniel/Kevin have had some great matches, pushing each other to be better. Kevin asking Daniel his thoughts of a great roster would love to see the Intercontinental title defended each week in the ring, especially. Kevin would love to team with Daniel, making a go after the tag team belts. Dolph/Robert Roode out saying how they are the best. Street Profits who hold the tag belts have something to say. Now it’s Cesaro/Shinsuke coming out to complain.

Kevin/Daniel with Street Profits facing Robert Roode/Dolph/Cesaro/Shinsuke in an 8 man tag team match. Daniel has tweaked his right knee. It fell apart but it was Street Profits/Daniel/Kevin with the win.

**Only 4 matches confirmed for Hell in a Cell, so far.

Samy Zayne telling Daniel Bryan that he will defend the Intercontinental Belt as he sees fits. (all belts must be defended once every 30 days)

Bianca Belair in her first official Smackdown match against Zelina Vega. Bianca has no problem, needing very little time to put an end to Zelina.

Bayley in the ring, complaining of her match with Sasha. Bayley trashing talking how Sasha deserves nothing. Sasha has the title, refusing to give Bayley the title back, almost knocking out Bayley with her knee. Sasha pinning Bayley just like Bayley did to her

Murphy faced off against Seth. Once again it was nothing new. Seth did what he wanted, getting the win. Seth tried to take things out with a Kendo stick but it was Aliyah who tried to stop things.

Roman and Paul on the way to the ring. It’s an “I Quit” match on Sunday for the Universal Title. Roman says Jey is an embarrassment to the family and needs to be taught a lesson. Jimmy with a decoy, Jey in the ring. Roman is left in a pile in the ring. The Universe is loving that Roman got his ass kicking tonight. If Jey says “I Quit” he must fall in line. If not He is out of the family forever.

NXT October 21/22

**Getting ready for Halloween Havoc, which is NEXT WEEK

Things are getting out of control heading to Halloween Havoc. At this point as the show is coming on there is no word on Finn’s recovery.

Opening the show is Kushida already in the ring to face Velveteen Dream, Tomasso Ciampa also in the triple threat match. Just when you think one of them has control, someone else turns spoiler. If you blink you miss something. With help from Dream’s cast, Kushida gets the win.

Ember Moon in her first singles match. She has repacked herself but the character has stayed the same. Facing off against Jessi Kamea. That was all Jessi, Ember had no clue what hit her. I actually thought Ember was on the way to a loss but in the end, Jessi was forced to tap out. Dakota Kai showed up to take a cheap shot at Ember.

Austin Theory in the ring facing Bronson Reed (hometown by from Black Forest suburb here in Adelaide). This should be good. Austin was going to have his moments but Bronson is too big and strong for Austin to take out. Bronson can fly, (reminds me of Keith Lee) (even the ref cringed as Bronson flew, landed) Austin doing some serious trash talking. Austin refused to leave till he beat Bronson, Bronson made short work of him. (Austin walked out to his car and said”I Quit”)

6 man tag team with Legado Del Fantasma (what a chorus of boo’s from the Universe) on the way to the ring facing, Serve Scott/Jake Atlas/Ashante Adonis. This match is all over the place, If I blink I miss stuff. Fantasma stole the win.

Maverick/Dane in tag action, facing Ever Rise. Drake getting his backside kicked. Ever Rise never saw the tag take place. Drake lost the match for them using a chair but Killian thought it was great.

Both Members of Undisputed Era have been injured backstage before the Tag Title match.

Xia Lee facing Kacy Catanzaro. Xia saying how she needs this win. Kacy stole the win.

Due to the events of Undisputed Era being taken out, Birch/Lorcan stepped up to face Fandango for the Tag Team Belts. the belts were stolen by Birch/Lorcan with help. Pat Mcafee has been unmasked as the 3rd guy who help Birch/Lorcan

RAW Season Premiere

Monday Night has a new theme. Samoa Joe, Tom and Byron at the announcers desk.

Alexa Bliss in the ring. Announcing The Fiend. (am more interested in this storyline to see Alexa’s part) Retribution have shown up. Moustafa called for lights out, Fiend and Alexa are gone. Here comes The Hurt business. It’s The Hurt Business with the win by submission. The Fiend has returned, taking out Retribution.

**Just a reminder that Hell in a Cell is this Sunday/Monday depends on what parto f the world you’re in.

A.J Styles with a so called bodyguard, Jordan Omogbehin. A.J in a match with Matt Riddle. (have read this is a.J’s last contract with wwe, to be honest I am glad. Never really became a fan of his.) A.J saying that “HE” is the rightful leader of the locker room. Thanks to the bodyguard distraction, A.J with the win.

Drew talking to the Universe/especially Randy Orton.

Lana getting ready for title match against Asuka. Lana is holding her own but for how long. Asuka forced Lana to tap out. I have no clue WHY Nia Jax put Lana through the table again. (I had read that Lana might leave to join Rusev over at AEW)

Mandy Rose/Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Payton Royce, Riott Squad, Nia/Shayna. It’s a fatal 4 way match. Open challenge. Nia/Shayna keep the titles.

Elias going straight after Jeff Hardy, saying he knows exactly what happened. When Elias knows nothing. Elias having a concert, to be honest, he’s not too bad.

OMG, the MIz saying that he saved Mandy Rose, really. (its a crappy story line)

The New Day – Kofi facing Sheamus. It was a hard fought match but Kofi pulled out the win.

The Miz/Morrison facing Tucker/Otis in disguise. Thanks to R-Truth with the distraction, Tucker/Otis with the win.

Keith Lee facing Braun Strowman. It was a good match but a well placed low blow out of sight of the Ref got Braun the win, BUT Keith with a little payback of his own.

Randy Orton locks himself inside the Cell to deliver his message to Drew before their match on Sunday’s Pay Per View. Drew does come out to interrupt Randy’s ramblings. Randy says he can’t break in but he never planned on Drew getting bold cutters.
