My take on Friday nights show:

The show opened with a recap of the Elias accident but it will come out that it was a set up by Sheamus, who is ticked off that he didn’t get a batter welcome back. Sheamus was ticked that Jeff beat him for the right to be in the tournament final. (I am surprised with the story line in a way. Its a well known fact that Jeff has had issues with alcohol, in the past)

Otis/Mandy Rose – tried on Corbin’s Crown. He looks cute with it on. They are on the way to the ring as Otis takes on Barron Corbin. Otis with the DQ with thanks to Corbin using a chair.

Lacy Evans against Sonya Deville. It’s nasty as can be but she doesn’t seem to care as long as she can ruin Mandy Rose. With help from Mandy, Lacey gets the win. It was great seeing Sonya getting screwed by Mandy for a change.

Miz, Morrison trying all things to make Braun’s life hell. Braun will ahve the last laugh when he flips the van that Miz/Morrison are in.

DAniel Bryan and A.J Styles in the ring chatting with Renee Young about their match at Backlash for the Intercontinentional Title. A.J ran his mouth as per usual, now in match with Drew Gulak. Daniel accused A.J of only defending the belt to a chosen few, as Daniel would defend the belt every week to anyone who stepped up.

The New Day/Shorty G in action against Cesaro/Shinsuke/MoJo Riley — after once again, Cesaro going after Shorty G. It would fall apart as usual with 6 man tag teams but in the end it would be Kofi pinning Mojo for the win.

Alexa Bliss/Nikki Cross defending the Women Tag Team belts against Sasha/Bayley. It gets weird and out of hand. Bayley pulls some stuff with Sasha getting her out of the way to take the credit. For now, Bayley/Sasha have the tag belts but I have been hearing the rumor mill that Bayley/Sasha will lose the belt on the way to a split between them as Sasha has had enough of being in Bayley’s shadow.

It’s the final show before NXT: Take Over in Your House, with anything happening, so don’t blink or you will miss it.

The NXT Crew have returned to Full Sail University.

Show opening with Candice LeRae (heel turn, will be interesting with hubby Johnny Gargano also a heel) in a match facing Mia Yim. Tegan KNow out pulling Candice off Mia, but Dakota Kai with Raquel at her side as usual. Add Shotzy Blackheart in to the mix. After Candice/Mia match has fallen apart, Regal made it a mixed tag match. Thanks to car keys in Johnny’s pocket, he and Candice won the match.

**NXT Take Over it will be Tommaso Ciampa vs Karrion Kross with Scarlet in his corner.

**Adam Cole facing Velveteen Dream for the NXT Championship Belt in a Backlot Brawl. ( I am so over Cole with the belt. Tired of the storyline, him always needing the help to keep the belt. It’s time for a change in my book)

Triple Threat Tag team match puts, Undisputed Era,Oney Lorcan/Danny Burch and Breezango. Somehow in all the chaos, Breezango have stolen the win. Imperum have shown up but also here comes another team,

Tony Nese facing Isiah “Swerve” Scott. Swerve showing much needed aggression. Swerve steals the win but Jack Galligher has shown up, not sure who he is going after.

Aliyah on her way to the ring for a match with Santanta Garrett. Santana didint hold back and got the win.

Io Shirai/Charlotte Flair/Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Belt. (hoping that with Rhea back from being forced away, she takes back the belt, which would free up Charlotte for a battle with Asuka)

**6 Women tag team match added for In your House with Tegan Nox/ Shotzi Blackheart/ Mia Yim facing Candice LeRae/Dakota Kai/Raquel Gonzalez.

El Hijo Del Fantasma facing Drake Maverick for the Cruiserweight Title. It was an amazing match, Drake held his own through out. 2 mask men in Mexican Wrestling mask showed up, Drake took the 2 men out, protecting El but giving up the title. As Drake was about to exit when Triple H came out, with a contract in hand for Drake.

Drake might of lost the title but he still won in the end with keeping his place at NXT

NXT members at ringside, all have been tested and they are being soical distant constant.

Show opening with Seth Rollins doing something with Rey Mystero retirement. (I am not a fan of this story line in any way, shape or form. Seth plays a good heel but that’s it. ) Seth in a match with Aleister Black. Humberto Carrillo at ring side for Aleister. Carrillo did his job keeping Murphy/theory busy long enough for Aleister to get the win.

Apollo Crews will defend his title against Kevin Owens (Apollo choice). Angel Garza/Andrade showed up in the ring. (turned into a tag match, kevin/apollo against angel/andrade) Kevin/Apollo with the win.

Nikki facing Billie Kay in singles action. Billie with the win. That was an unusual win for them. Alexa/Nikki need to be extra careful, the Iconics are coming for them. (if they put the belts back on the Iconics, they had better make sure they are defended more than when they had them last time.)

Drew chatting to Charley about his match with M.V.P

The Boys at the desk, chatting to Rey about what has happened. No answers about if Rey can even return. Dominic left leaving Seth a message, “An Eye for an Eye”

Nia in the ring. 1 week from Sunday will face Asuka for the Raw Women’s Belt. Kiari is taking way too long to try and pin Nia.Nia overpowered Kiari for the win, (not really surprised) Asuka in the ring.

Charlotte in the ring, doing a promo for her match at NXT , In your House on sunday against Io/Rhea. Charlotte in a match with Asuka. Charlotte/Auska have some great matches, I am hoping at they have more. Nia intferred in this match with Charlotte. Head games.

Bobby Lashley in the ring waiting on M.V.P to arrive. Drew at the ring, but Bobby could be the deciding factor. Backlash in one week. (Lana said, that Bobby doesn’t want her at the ring during his match but nothing was said about M.V.P match. That was a hell of a claymore but Bobby in the ring with the full Nelson.

Drake Maverick/Kushida/Jake Atlas for the final spot on the cruiserweight tournament. I am so glad they let this match go, it was all I expected and more. Drake was with it enough to pin, Jake with Kushida not seeing anything. Drake will face El Hijo del Fantasma in the final.

NXT:In Your House PPV it will be a triple threat match with Charlotte putting the belt on the line against Rhea Ripley/Io Shirai in a triple threat match.

Johnny Gargano/Candice LeRae who both have turned heal (storyline that they will take over and run NXT) in the ring. Adrian Alanis on his way to the ring but we both know how this will end, with Johnny getting the win. Mia/Keith having their own dinner at home, poking fun at Gargano’s.

Shotzy Blackheart facing Raquel Gonzalez but Dakota Kai is with her new B**ch. Dakota trying to run off with Shotzy’s tank but Tegan Knox showed up to even the odds. Candice LeRae showed up running off at the mouth to Tegan, allowing Dakota to help Raquel get the win.

Another match announced for NXT In Your House will be Finn Balor facing Damian Priest. (the baton is still getting used, Finn needs to watch out.

Rhea/Io in tag action against Charlotte/Chelsea Green. At some point this will fall apart as it usually does when Charlotte is involved. (Charlotte using the ropes to help with the win)

Adam Cole talking with William Regal about his match for In Your House facing The Velveteen Dream. As long as Adam Cole holds the belt after this match, Dream will not get another title shot.

Leon Ruff facing Tomasso Ciampa. Need I say anything else.

Fight Pit match with Matt Riddle facing Timothy Thatcher. Kurt Angle is the ref. I read later on that this was matt’s exit match from NXT as he will be arriving on Smackdown soon. (they moved the tag titles off Pete/Matt as the first step)

**Smackdown**

(storyline SPOILER)The opening of Smackdown was a set up with Elias/Jeff Hardy by Sheamus because Sheamus is ticked off that Jeff is getting another chance. Sheamus said that he is just waiting for Jeff to screw up again, so he can tell Jeff “I told you so”. Jeff somehow pulled out a win against Sheamus last week to advance to the finals of the Intercontinental Belt. (it was stripped off Samy Zayne due to inactivity)

10 man battle royal to face Daniel Bryan. The winner of that match goes into the Intercontinental Title match against A.J Styles. Last 2 men standing was Sheamus/Jey Uso with Sheamus getting the win. (are you surprised)

Lacey Evans meeting Sonya Deville (heel turn) for a single match. double count out

A Moment of Bliss with Alexa/Nikki hosting The New Day. Alexa/Sasha in an impromptu match, Nikki/Bayley at the announcers table. Once again, Bayley gets involved in Sasha’s match. (Question – how long before they split up Bayley/Sasha. They had some great matches when they were in NXT, I would love to see some of those again. It’s overdue)

Cesaro with Shinsuke facing Shorty G. (you know Shinsuke will get involved) I have no clue how he did it but Shorty got the win. It was brilliant.

The segment with Mandy Rose and Otis was too cute. Need the giggles with everything going on. YOu might not like the story line but its good for a smile.

Kurt Angle announcing that Matt Riddle will be arriving on Smackdown soon.

Sheamus bragging about what has happened, and that he will beat Daniel Bryan/go on to win the title against A.J Styles.

**At Backlash it will be a 2 on 1 handicap match with Braun Strowman defending the Universal belt against Miz/Morrison

Daniel Bryan facing off for the right to meet A.J Styles. Jeff Hardy showed up/distracting Sheamus long enough to help Daniel Bryan get the win.

I have no clue where this show will be heading today. I know Backlash is coming soon, 3 weeks from Sunday

The show is opening with Becky Lynch announcement of the new addition for her and Seth. (I did read a rumor that they may be turning Seth back to a babyface)

Charley in the ring talking about Randy Orton/Edge from the end of last week show. Randy issued a challenge to Edge in a plain wrestling match at Backlash. Randy say’s that Edge had fear in his eyes, that’s why he didn’t answer him. Edge is out facing Randy, Charley got out of the way. Randy couldn’t shut up and let Edge finish, Edge and Randy to meet at Backlash.

A recap of the match with Seth/Murphy and the injury to Rey Mystery last week. This story line with Seth needs to end, its crap in my book. It’s old, boring and at least I have had enough. Humberto Carrillo out, giving Seth a mouth full. Humberto facing Murphy in an impromptu match. Murphy with the win, with help from Seth. Aleister Black is going after Murphy, helped Humberto out.

Corbin in the RAW house facing Drew. Once again Corbin shooting off his mouth about how he is not treated as he thinks he should be.

Charlotte on RAW but showing footage from last week. Charlotte faces Bayley on Smackdown on Friday. I had read, its a possible rumor that they are splitting Bayley/Sasha up. (it’s time, the matches with Charlotte/Sasha are some of the best in the Women’s division in my book. Ruby Riott in the ring. Charlotte with the win over Ruby.

Bobby Lashley was chatting to Charley but M.V.P has stuck his nose in, he called Lana a trophy wife. (I had read that they were going to split, Lana/bobby for storyline reason,feedback is just not working) Of course, Lashley beats R-Truth. M.V.P in the background

Kairi Sane, introducing Asuka as the new RAW champion. (M.I.T.B was actually for the RAW Women’s belt) Nia jax in the ring. Thanks to Asuka, Niz made a hasty exit.

Alexa Bliss/Nikki Cross facing The Iconics for the Women’s Tag Team belts. ( I have never seen a challenge from NXT, wonder what that’s all about?). Here’s hoping the belts stay with Nikki/Alexa, at least you will see them get challenged more. That was a massive right had from Alexa. Payton refused to listen to the Ref, The Iconics are disqualified. Nikki/Alexa keep the belt.

Natalya vs Shayna in a submission match which Shayna won. Natalya did not take the loss well. I have to agree with Samoa Joe and what he said, her temper tantrum was uncalled for. It is beneath her, she is better than that.

Kevin Owens/ Apollo Crews in a match with Andrade/Angel Garza. Thanks to a mistake by Zelina, Garza decked by Austin Theory giving Crews/Owens the win.

Aleister Black facing Murphy, Seth at ringside. It’s become a 3 on 1 against Aleister. Seth hugged Austin but Murphy was not sure what was going on.

Drew vs Corbin in a non title match. Bobby Lashley with M.V.P watching on the ramp. Drew can take a beating, at some point he will finally of had enough. It was looking like corbin had Drew’s number but in the end of hell of a Claymore kick was all that was needed to take Corbin out for the win. Bobby is gunning for Drew and it will be interesting to see how that story plays out over the next few weeks.

This will be interesting to say the least. Match of the day for me was Drew/Seth.(that was a hell of a match, Drew showing respect with that handshake at the end to Seth.

Asuka/Otis were your case winners, Otis was a total shock but it was funny how it actually happened. I missed it when Otis yelled “Mandy, I did it” (I.M.O – I can see Asuka going after Becky at some point winning the title, that will give Becky her way out to go off for some recoup time, finally marry Seth)

Edge/Randy Orton together for the first time since Wrestlemania. Randy calling Edge out, that he longer has what it takes. Randy has challenged Edge to a match at Backlash but the show ended with NO ANSWER

A Moment of Bliss with 2 special guest. The Iconics have returned. A non title match taking place. With a cheap shot, the Iconics steal a win.

Becky in the ring to open the show, she has a M.I.T.B case with her. Becky does NOT have the belt with her tonight. HOLY SHT, the match last night was for the Women’s title. It was the belt that was locked in the briefcase. Becky is pregnant.

Bobby Lashley on his way to the ring. His opponent is Humberto Carrillo. It’s a No D.Q match. Humberto held on but with Bobby’s strength, he would stand tall this day.

The return from commercial break has Angel Garza already in the ring with Akira Tozawa, Angel is more concerned with Austin Theory, than winning the match (which he did) Impromptu match, Drew McIntyre facing Andrade, it took a huge fight but it was Drew in the end with the win. Andrade gave him a good fight but in the end, Drew with a claymore kick for the win.

Next week, Drew will be facing off against King Corbin. I can’t wait for Drew to shut him up.

Rey Mystero, Aleister Black were both thrown off the roof, onto a secondary roof. both are OK and they will face Seth Rollins/Murphy. Seth looks like he has spaced out, leaving Murphy on his own. Seth has finally just snapped. (that was just creepy)

6 man tag team has R-Truth, Ricochet/Cedric Alexander facing M.V.P/Shane Thorne/Brendan Vink. This could go anyway, or fall apart really quick. R-Truth got the win for his team but Bobby/M.V.P have left him laying in the ring.
