RAW in Quebec City

Starting to set the card for Clash in Paris. Should be interesting.

Cole and Corey are at the announcers’ desk with Alicia Taylor handling the ring announcing duties.

The title match between Naomi and Iyo has been postponed as Naomi is not medically cleared.

CM Punk is on the way to the ring for a chat with the Universe. L.A. Knight is on his way to join Punk in the ring. Fallout from the match, with Seth and Roman last week. (I can’t see this title changing hands until WrestleMania next year) Heyman just walked out with Braun and Bronson, who look like an idiot with Roman’s shoes around his neck. Possible tag match between Punk/Knight facing Braun/Bronson.

Rumour has it that the 3 El Grande Americanos are Ludwig Kasier/Pete Dunn/Tyler Bait.

AJ Styles is heading to the ring for a tag match/Dragon Lee is joining him, facing Dirty Dom/Ludwig Kaiser(El Grande Americano). Getting bored with Dirty Dom and all this crap. The medal plate comes into play again as usual.

Sami Zayn is on his way to the ring. (If you have not heard the news, Karrion Kross/Scarlet are no longer with the company) Sami is in a singles match with Rusev. (This won’t be pretty) Well, Crap Solo and his band of bullies stopped the match that Sami was on the verge of winning. Why is Solo even on RAW?

With Naomi out, Iyo will face Roxanne later. This will be interesting. Look for Raquel to get involved. You dont slap Iyo and get away with it. It’s been a good even match to this point. Of course, Roxy steals the win. Asuka/Kairi tried to help, but it backfired.

Maxxine is in a title match facing Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental title. This won’t be pretty. I can’t see the title changing hands. Becky is in heel mode. Maxxine is giving it her best. Max is awkward, but she is giving it her all. Max had to submit, but it was a good experience.

New Day and Greyson Waller are out there trying to lobby the Universe, but they are not buying it. Big E still has not been cleared to return to the ring, and he may never be cleared.

Bayley, in a video chatting about her career. Wondering what is next. Wondering where things have gone so wrong. (not sure if this storyline or real life)

Main Event time with CM Punk/L.A.Knight facing Bronson Reed/Braun Brekker. ( I read that they could be exploring Braun turning on Seth)Here we go again, ugly match, falling apart with Reed/Brekker winning as usual. (before you say anything, I know it’s storyline, but it’s boring, looks like Bloodline 3.0) Well, told you so as Seth came out to stop the match. Here comes Jey with a chair.

Here comes Adam Pearce. At Clash in Paris, it is a Fatal Four-way for the Men’s World title. Seth is facing CM Punk, L.A. Knight, and Jey Uso.

IMO — OK, how long is this going to go on for? Seth is heel, just like in the past, needing henchmen to do his dirty work to keep the title. (Sound familiar?)

SummerSlam fallout on SmackDown

Time to see how the results of SummerSlam have affected SmackDown. They are in Montreal, Canada. Boy, it’s loud today, but that is a good thing.

Joe and Wade are at the desk, Mark Nash taking care of the ring announcing duties.

If you have Netflix, check out WWE Unreal. It is a great behind-the-scenes look at storylines, especially John’s heel turn.

John Cena is making his way to the ring, and I can’t help but reflect on his incredible journey. From the moment he arrived on the scene, it was clear that he was something special. Now, after 25 remarkable years, I’m witnessing his retirement, and it’s hard not to feel a bit emotional. At SummerSlam, John passed the torch to Cody, and while I don’t know what was said between them, it clearly had a profound impact—Cody was visibly moved to tears. Although I wasn’t a fan of heel Cena, I can acknowledge that he made it work. The “Thank you, Cena!” chants are a testament to his legacy, and they’ve touched him deeply. It’s also worth noting that John personally requested Brock Lesnar for his final match, which speaks volumes about his respect for the business. Now, Logan Paul has strolled in to stir things up, having agreed to a match at Clash in Paris. Moments later, Drew jumped on John, creating a two-on-one situation—thankfully, Cody came to his aid. Tonight, we’re set for an exciting tag match: Logan and Drew will face off against John and Cody. It’s bound to be a thrilling showdown!

Motor City Machine Guns are facing JC Mateo/Talla Tonga. Tag Action. Solo is sitting at ringside. It’s an ugly match with Motor City taped up after their match at SummerSlam.

Ok, Nick just walked out, telling Sikoa that he is not leaving quite yet. Solo wanted a match, and he got one. Sami is on his way to the ring. Montreal is Sami’s hometown. Not a fair fight with Solo’s henchmen out at ringside. Sami got the win; it was only right for that to happen today. Solo and the crew tried everything to steal the win, but it was not meant to be.

Charlotte/Alexa Bliss in the ring to celebrate their win and Alexa’s birthday. They have some comedy going on, which is great. New side of Charlotte. Here comes Chelsea, and with that huge sheet cake on the stage, I can see Chelsea taking a cake hit. LOL, Nick just walked out, gave Alexa a present of a new Ref and Charlotte a match with Chelsea. It has been a back-and-forth match; Chelsea has had her moments to shine, but now Charlotte is getting down to business. (Lexi/Charlotte finally got their plates on the belts) I told you, Chelsea just ate the cake. (Charlotte shared in an interview that she was struggling after Wrestlemania, and Alexa called her to check on her. The rest, as they say, is history.

Main event time with LoganPaul/Drew McIntyre facing off against Cody Rhodes/John Cena. It’s been all Paul/Drew taking it out on Cody. Logan with a cheap shot on John. Drew just hit Cody with the title (can see a feud coming between Drew/Cody for the SmackDown Men’s Title). Drew has just lost the plot he Claymore kicked Cody through the announcer’s desk. Drew has never been the same since losing the RAW men’s Title at SummerSlam a couple of years ago.

NXT in Orlando

August 24th is Heatwave, and the card is being set up. I have been away for a couple of weeks, so I’ve missed some things.

Vic, Booker T and Corey are at the desk with Mike Rome taking care of ring announcing duties.

The show opens with Blake Monroe (who has brought her Mariah May character, but with a name change) in the ring for singles action, facing Kelani Jordan. New Ref is Victoria D’Errico. Blake did a runner to get away from Jordyann Grace, giving Kelani the win.

Chase University ( Kale Dixon/Uriah Conners)in tag team action, facing Hank and Tank, who hold the Men’s Tag Titles. This is a title defence match. Champions retain, but Chase U gave it all they had. Of course, Dark State shows up to spoil things. (Not happy with Dark State storyline, but oh well)

Myles Bourne is in the ring for singles action, facing Alexis King. (storyline is Alexis swears that Myles is lying about his hearing issues) Myles took a real beating from Alexis in the end, but it was Myles standing tall for the win.

Thea Hale is facing Nia Jax. (No clue why Nia is down in NXT) This won’t end well for Thea. Nia’s last singles match on NXT was in 2016 against Asuka. Needless to say, Nia with the win. Thea gave it a good go, but Nia was too strong. Lash Legend is calling Nia out.

At Heatwave, it will be Jordyann Grace facing Blake Monroe.

Oba Femi is in the ring for a chat. Oh, geesh, here comes Trick Williams spoiling things again. Ja’Von Evans has now joined the chat in the ring. Moose from TNA just walked out. This changes everything. This is getting crazier by the moment. Dark State is out causing issues again. Holy Cow, Moose, Trick, Ja’von, and Oba working together cleared the ring of Dark State. Moose has a title match against Trick for the TNA title.

Yoshi has a singles match with Stacks, but he attacked Yoshi before the bell rang. Thanks to the help from Arianna Grace and Josh Briggs, Stacks gets the win.

Ethan Page, who holds the Men’s North American title, is on his way to the ring for a chat. (I can’t stand this character) Tavion Heights to the rescue. Chelsea Green just walked out with her secret Hervice. (defending Ethan) Mixed tag team, Ethan and Chelsea facing Tavion and a partner of his choice.

Main Event Time with Sol Ruca, who is the Women’s North American Title holder, defending against Tatum Paxley, who is part of The Culling. Thanks to the distraction of Lash and Nia, Sol, who took a beating from Tatum, steals the win.

Fallout from SummerSlam on RAW

There will be fallout from the weekends events. I have heard a few things I will share as the morning plays out.

Why have Charlotte/Alexa not had the plates changed on the belts, unless they are waiting for them to be made? The titles are where they need to be; it’s time to get the tag division back up. Here is a tag team for you – Rhea/Iyo

Cole/Corey are at the announcers’ desk with Alicia Taylor taking care of ring announcing duties.

The show opens with a recap of the weekend. (It was John Cena’s request for Brock Lesnar to return for the show to help close out his career. Moved the belt to Cody, so they can build John/Brock)

***Rumour — Rhea did not win, so they can build a match with her and Iyo for Crown Jewel. Naomi will face Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris. I think the title will change hands there. Have been reading that there is talk of a big push for Steph.

Seth, along with his merry band of idiots, is on the way to the ring. Bronson Reed still has Roman’s Shoes. We have a spoiler in the ring with Seth, L.A. Knight. As Seth was leaving, Adam Pearce came out, telling Seth that he would defend the belt tonight against Knight, Braun and Bronson, who are banned from ringside.

It’s time for a banger with Rusev on his way to the ring for a match with Sheamus.

**Karrion/Scarlet are NOT on RAW tonight. Their contracts are up this coming weekend.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I am more than over the New Day

Penta in singles action against Greyson Waller. New Day has wandered out, sitting at the announcer’s desk.

Naomi is on her way to the ring. She is going to have her hands full with Stephanie in Calsh in Paris on the 31st of August.

Alexa and Charlotte are in the ring for a chat when Roxy, also known as Raquel, makes her entrance. This situation makes me worry that the title plates have not been changed. I’m tired of hearing about Judgment Day all the time; it’s getting boring. Jess is on her way to the ring to referee the match. The lack of a plate change reminds me of when Becky and Lyra had the belts, and they changed hands the very next night. Here we go again. Roxy missed that Alexa was the legal competitor, and Alexa hit Roxy with Sister Abigail once more to secure the win.

Dirty Dom is on his way to the ring for singles action, facing Dragon Lee. Oh, geesh, 3 El Grande Americano showed up to take out Dragon Lee, to make sure Dom won. Rumour is 1 of them is Lugwid Kasier, another 1 is Pete Dunn, not sure who the third one is.

More rubbish on the way to the ring, Becky Lynch. Full of herself as a heel should be. OK, this should be interesting with Nikki Bella in the ring with Becky. Becky just brought up John Cena into all of this. Nikki just told Becky to put her money where her mouth is and put the title on the line.

**Injury Report — Gunther had a nose issue coming into the match with CM Punk, which became worse as his nose was broken. He needs surgery and will be out, with no return date listed.

Seth is in the ring for his match with L.A Knight. Title is on the line, Bronson/Braun have been banned from the ring. Paul Heyman is with Seth. You know the title won’t change hands. (Rumour – putting the belt on Seth to set up a feud with Punk) Seth tried to stomp Knight on the concrete bar floor at ringside, but Punk stopped him from connecting. Reed/Brekker came to the rescue. Seth just stomped Knight and Punk both in the ring. This title run is going to be ugly, to say the least, as long as Seth has the belt. (Rumour I have read is that Braun will turn on Seth) Oh crap, just as the goons were leaving, Roman showed up. First time since the betrayal at Wrestlemania, Seth and Roman have come face to face. Roman never saw the stomp coming. ( Bronson took Roman’s shoes again)

The Universe is not happy, and they are letting Seth know it.

Summerslam Night 2

Cole and Wade are back at the announcer’s desk with Alicia Taylor back taking care of ring announcing duties.

***SummerSlam moves to Minneapolis August 1 and 2, 2026

*MATCH 1 — The RAW Women’s title with Naomi defending against Rhea and Iyo Sky. Triple threats are hard to blog about, as you don’t want to miss anything. It was a great match to open the show; the women brought it as always. As always, as Rhea was just about to pin Iyo, Naomi out of nowhere pinned Rhea to retain the title. In Paris, Stephanie Vaquer will face Stephanie Vaquer for the title.

*MATCH 2 — This match was just insane, a Table, Ladders, and Chairs match for the SmackDown Men’s Tag Team Titles. This is another match hard to blog, as I dont want to miss anything. It would be Wyatt Sick who would retain the titles. I can only imagine how frustrated the rest of the teams are.

*MATCH 3 — Becky Lynch defending the Women’s Intercontinental Title against Lyra Valkyria. It was a No DQ match, but the pin must occur within the ring. I got concerned when Becky zip-tied Lyra’s hands. Becky did some serious damage. When Becky pulled out that crowbar, that was a real concern, but it was Bayley who stopped it. In the end, it was Bayley, decking Lyra, when Becky ducked, helping Becky get the win. Now, Lyra can’t get another title shot until Becky loses the title. Wondering if this sets up a fued with Lyra/Bayley or even Becky/Bayley. This match went 25 minutes, the longest of the night.

*MATCH 4 — Steel Cage match between Solo Sokia defending the United States title against Jacob Fatu. Solo’s Footmen are at the ringside trying to help. That was a total waste of a match spot. You could see it written all over how this was going to go, and it did. Solo could not win on his own. Jimmy made sure that Mato and Tonga Loa were locked in the cage with Jacob. Jacob just did a massive back layout off the top of the cage, taking out Mato/Tonga.

*Match 5 — The Men’s Intercontinental Title is on the line with Dirt Dom defending against AJ Styles. It’s time this title changed hands. AJ arrived in a low-rider to honour Eddie G. AJ just pulled the chair trick on Dom. Well, once again, Dom manages to pull off a win, cheating, but he did it on his own. Dity Dom retains. I can’t see this being over yet. It’s a good matchup.

Stephanie M is in the ring 60, 561 for a total of 2 nights total of 113,722. The biggest Slam in history.

*MATCH 6 — Main Event — John Cena facing Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight for the Undisputed title. At this point, they have not wandered far from the ring. They are trying everything, and right now, nothing is working. They are starting to venture out and away from the ring. They are throwing everything at each other, but still, nothing is working. This match went everywhere, with no interference from anyone or from anywhere. Cody finally gets the title back.

The SHOCK of the night was the return of Brock Lesnar, who walked to the ring, Hit John with an F5 and walked out. I am just as stunned as everyone else.

SummerSlam Night 1 — #38

Taking place in New Jersey. Met Life Stadium

Cole and Wade are taking care of the announcer’s desk, with Alicia Taylor handling ring announcing duties.

*MATCH 1 — Roman and Jey find themselves in an electrifying tag team showdown against Braun Breakker and Bronson Reed, with the ever-watchful Paul Heyman hovering at ringside. Clutching Roman’s shoes, Paul’s presence adds an air of intrigue to the match. The atmosphere at MetLife Stadium is electric, with cheers and shouts echoing as fans struggle to catch a glimpse of Jey weaving through the crowd. A playful high five is exchanged with a cameraman, capturing the camaraderie amidst the chaos. As soon as the bell rings, the match spirals into pandemonium. Roman attempts a high-flying maneuver that looks daring, and for a moment, it seems like it could end in disaster, but fortunately, he sticks the landing. In a heart-stopping moment, Roman instinctively pushes Jey out of harm’s way, absorbing a spear from Braun that echoes throughout the arena. The match unfolds at a wild and frantic pace, displaying raw intensity and fierce competition. Ultimately, it is Jey and Roman who emerge victorious, standing tall amid the cheers and excitement of the crowd, despite the chaos that preceded their win.

*MATCH 2 — The first title defence of the night, Roxanne Perez/Raquel Rodriguez putting the titles on the line against Charlotte/Alexa Bliss. I expect these titles will change hands tonight. Lexi and Charlotte seem better settled, along with the experience, as both have held the tag title. (I love the fact they are having some giggles along the way in this) This has been a good match, not too much funny business, Alexa/Charlotte have both had their moments. That was great, friendly fire could have gone wrong, but Alexa takes out Roxy, Charlotte takes out Raquel, with Lexie the legal star for the win.

*MATCH 3 — Sami Zayn is facing Karron Kross in singles action, but Scarlet is in Karron’s corner. This is one of those matches where anything can happen. Scarlet pulled out the steel pipe. This has been an OK match, nothing special. Scarlet gave Sami the pipe, and he threw it out of the ring. Sami finished off Karron, getting the win. Sami looked at Karron/Scarlet, telling them that it’s over.

Cole is narrating a salute to Hulk Hogan, especially what he did for Summer Slam.

*Match 4 — Tiffany Stratton defending her SmackDown title against Jade Cargill. This match feels rushed in a way. The girls have not been given time to tell the story. Jade held her own, but I don’t think she’s just quite ready for the singles title just yet. Tiff is 14 – 0 in 2025.

*MATCH 5 — Randy Orton/Jelly Roll facing Logan Paul/Drew McIntyre in a tag match. As much as I want Randy/Jelly to win, I have a feeling it will be Paul/Drew getting the win. (I will give Logan the credit that he is good, but that is it)I have the match muted. Paul is nothing but a bully, along with Drew. I was never really a fan of Drew to start with. (Jelly has lost 230 pounds)This could have been a decent match, but they just let Drew/Logan dominate the match. Doing whatever to take Randy/Jelly out of the match for good. Now it’s a two-on-one match with JellyRoll on his way to medical.

*MATCH 6 — Main Event time with Gunther defending the Men’s World Heavyweight title against CM Punk. This could be a good match if they are given the time to let things develop. Gunther is trying his best to take Punk out, making sure he keeps the belt. Things have started to see-saw between, who have always gotten too full of themselves. Just as CM gets a rally going, Gunther seems to almost always shut him down. I have no clue how CM is finding ways to stay in this match, but he is. Gunther is wondering what he has to do to finish this match. Gunther started to celebrate, but out of nowhere, Punk pushed him off the announce table. Never seen Gunther busted open like he has been. It took 2 GTS, CM Punk was able to pin Gunther for the win, which lasted all of 10 minutes as Seth Rollins’ Music hit. The knee injury was a setup to throw everyone off. With a well-placed Stomp, Seth is now the World Heavyweight Champion.

**See you in the morning for part two of SummerSlam

Final SmackDown before SummerSlam

Just down the road in Newark, New Jersey.

Joe and Wade are at the desk, with Mark Nash taking care of announcing duties

OK, this usually doesn’t happen. John Cena is opening the show. I can’t wait for heel John to be over. Yeah, it’s worked, but it’s time in my book. BTW, Cody is here also heading to the ring. This crowd tonight is going off. Here comes the bull crap excuses. John says that it was Cody who woke him up to the rubbish of his attitude. Cody wanted the real John Cena for the match at SummerSlam. I was waiting for this.

Drew/Logan Paul crashed a training session for JellyRoll, and Randy Orton was not there.

Guilia with her manager, Kiana James, in a title defence against Zelina Vega. Guilia thought she had her dead to rights, ready for the 3 count, but Zelina kicked out. It was a good match, but Guilia hung on for the win.

Los Garza are on the way to the ring for an open challenge match. They are the Triple A World Tag Team Champions. Mr.Iguana/Physco Clows have come to the ring as their opponents.

Aleister Blackfacing Damien Priest in singles action. It was a good match until Black grabbed a steel chair, which ended the match. This match was all about hurting Damine, nothing more.

Talla Tonga is ready to take on Jimmy Uso in a singles match that embodies the classic David versus Goliath dynamic. However, this matchup is no laughing matter; it’s clear that Jimmy is being punished as a result of Solo’s actions. Following the match, a brutal post-match beatdown is unleashed. A steel cage is brought in to ensure that no one can interfere, allowing them to eliminate Jimmy once and for all. Jacob managed to get in the ring before the cage dropped.

Logan Paul/Drew McIntyre in the ring, running off at the mouth, but here comes Randy/JellyRoll to the ring. (Jelly looks good with all the weight he has lost) They have to give the win to Jelly/Randy

See you for SummerSlam part 1. Here in Australia, it airs on Netflix on Sunday and Monday. Start time here in Adelaide is 7:30 am.

Final RAW before SummerSlam

This is the final RAW before we head off to SummerSlam. 2 nights on August 2 and 3 (August 3 and 4 here in Australia)

I cannot confirm that the Randy/JellyRoll versus Logan Paul/Drew match is off because Drew cannot enter the USA due to passport issues. If I find out more during the show will let you know.

Cole and Corey are at the desk, with Alicia Taylor handling Ring Announcing Duties.

RAW with their tribute to Hulk.

Loving watching Cole Yeet. Jey Uso is in the house. Jey is taking on Bronson Reed in singles action. Paul Heyman is out running his mouth. Paul is trying to get into Jey’s head.

AJ Styles is heading to the ring for a six-person mixed tag match, accompanied by the Kabuki Warriors. They will be facing Judgement Day, which consists of Dominik, Roxy, and Raquel. Honestly, I’m getting bored with Judgement Day; it feels like they use the same strategy every match—cheating to win, no matter what. They haven’t captivated my interest in a while. In my opinion, they have been around for far too long, have become stale, and it’s time for them to end. (You could see Jess, the ref, trying not to laugh as AJ went after Dom)

Austin Theory is out due to injury, and Greyson Waller is now hanging out with New Day.

Sheamus is on his way to the ring, singles action against Greyson Waller.

Lyra Valkyria is on her way to the ring, cutting a promo for her match against Becky for the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Lyria has great shoes on. In mid sentence, Becky’s music hits. Lyra gave Becky a whaloping with a kendo stick.

Corey had a sit-down chat with Sami Zayn. Karrion interrupts Corey’s chat. Sami will say whatever Karrion wants him to say IF he beats him. If Sami wins, Karrion has to admit he was wrong.

8-women tag match — Naomi/Chelsea/Alba Fire/Piper Niven facing off against. Rhea/Iyo Sky/Nikki Bella/Stephanie Vaquer. With Naomi involved in this match, it would be interesting. (have been reading that Steph will be getting a huge push in the coming months) Naomi tried to grab the title and run, but Iyo made sure she didn’t leave. Between Rhea/Stephane pinning Piper Niven for the win. (picture Iyo/Rhea as a tag team?)

LWO is on the way to the ring for their tag team title match against Finn/JD of the Judgement Day. El Grande Americana was trying to interfere, and Dragon Lee came to the rescue. Creative just screwed a good match by getting the El Grande to interfere. That was a wasted space of time. What a rubbish match.

Gunther is on his way to the ring to cut a promo with CM Punk for their match at SummerSlam. CM put Gunther in his place.

Jey Uso is facing Bronson Reed in singles action. Of course, Braun came in to help, trying to take Jey out before SummerSlam, but here comes Roman. They are still trying to take Jey out, so it’s a handicap match. Braun took Roman over the announce table. (Ok, I’m getting bored with all of this, I have it on mute, nothing new, trying to take out their opponents before their match as usual) This is close to a major PLE, and you allow this? Braun just put Roman and Jey through the barrier. Bronson is stealing Roman’s shoes.

SmackDown in Cleveland

The wrestling world is stunned by the passing of Hulk Hogan. I remember watching so many of his matches. The fun times he created with Macho Man, when he became evil Hogan. Hugs and prayers to the family of Hulk, as well as to all those in WWE who are dealing with this loss. (I’m sitting here in tears, Hulk was a part of my childhood, I raised my girls on WWE, they like Hulk also)

Everyone has gathered on stage. Paul is sharing. The haunting 10 bell salute. Video package being played. You could see that Jimmy Hart was there, not afraid to show tears.

Joe and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Mark Nash taking care of the ring announcing duties.

As Joe was mid-sentence, Logan Paul walked out. Jelly Roll has also come out. Cutting a promo for their match at Summer Slam. Drew joined Paul, but Randy is on his way to the ring, also. LOL, Jelly just took out Logan Paul.

Alexa Bliss is on her way to the ring for a singles match with Roxanne Perez. Charlotte is joining Alexa at ringside. (Charlotte has the pom-poms) Roxy stole the win with help from Rquel. Alexa copped a hit to the face and had a bloody nose.

Chelsea Green is in singles action against Jade Cargill. Jade with the win, but here comes Tiffy with an assist for Jade.

Cody is on his way to the ring. Cody is honouring Hulk.

The Miz got an attack of the stupids; he has a match against Jacob Fatu. This is not going to end well for Miz. Ok, here comes Solo mid-match. Distraction is paying off for Miz. Solo and his idiots pulled Miz out of the ring before Jacob could pin Miz for the win. The MFT has jumped Jacob, trying to take him out before the match at SummerSlam.

Kiana James has returned as spokesperson for Guilia.

Andrade/Rey Fenix are on their way to the ring for their title match for the SmackDown tag team belts. They are facing the current title holders, Wyatt Sick. It’s the 11th title defence this calendar year. Nikki Cross pulled the Ref out of the ring. Andrade/Rey had the match won. The Tag division has emptied into the main ring. Here comes Nick Aldis. At SummerSlam, it’s a TLC Match for the SmackDown Men’s Tag Titles.

NXT in Houston, Texas

There is some serious fallout from Slamaversary.

Booker T, Vic and Corey are at the announcers’ desk. Moke Rome is taking care of the announcing duties.

Trick Williams is still the Men’s Title holder, and Jacey Jade won the Women’s title, so she is holding both the Women’s NXT title and the TNA Knockouts Women’s title. I am not sure why they are both holding the titles in a cross-promotion, but I have seen things that suggest that TNA might be in a bit of trouble. (dont quote me on that.)

NXT’s next PLE is August 24, which is Heatwave. Clash in Paris is on August 31

8-person tag team with Zaria/Sol Rucia joining Hank/Tank, who are facing The Culling (Tatum, Izzi, Shaun Spears, Niko Vance). The Ref has lost control of this match. It’s happening everywhere. You have to stop what you’re doing to watch or you will miss things. Just as we were starting to sort things out, Dark State showed up when the lights went out, lights returned, and thanks to Tatum, The Culling got the win.

Fatal Influence on the way to the ring. Jacey Jade, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx are in the ring. Jazmyn is not looking very impressed with things. Fallon has a mic but not Jaz. (TNA as a company is struggling; they are in an agreement with WWE for stars to do both promotions right now.) Lash Legend, Jaida Parker are both in the ring. I can see a #1 contender’s match coming at least for the NXT Title.

Jasper Troy in his way to the ring. Racky Saints is his opponent. Part of the ramp has collapsed. I have no clue what or how that happened. Jasper made it back to the ring in time, beating the count to get the win.

Trick Williams is having a temper tantrum because the Undertaker has called him out. Now Trick is in the ring, running off at the mouth. He claims that he is the best TNA champion of all time. OMG, Trick just made a mistake, calling out The Undertaker. (I hope he drops Trick on his backside.) Taker is dressed in his American Badass character. Taker told Trick that it’s his attitude that will be the end of him. Trick tried to throw a punch to take out Taker, but he got an Undertaker slam instead.

Blake Monroe made her in-ring debut. Wren Sinclair is her opponent. It’s a rare singles match for Wren. You knew from the start that Blake would get the win. Wren gave it a good go. Blake just dropped Jordyann on a steal chair.

Ethan Page is on his way to the ring. This guy plays his character well. When you love to hate someone, this guy has it down. Oh, geesh, he has taken the North American title and created a new belt with the flag of Canada on it. Santino Marella has just walked out. He is the TNA director of authority. North American title on the line next week.

Triple threat match with Josh Briggs/Oba Femi and Yoshiki Inamura for the Men’s NXT Title. I can see this match could be the end of the Josh/Yoshi tag team. Josh and Yoshi beat the snot out of each other, while Oba waited for his moment to pin Josh for the win.
