Wrestlemania Part 1

**Pre Show**

They have decorated the studio with the theming they would of used in Tampa. It’s draped in red, pirate theme.

(Remember this is MY thoughts and view of the 1st nights events. )

Corey Graves and Peter Rosenberg are the host for night 1 festivities

Cesaro facing Drew Gulak — Cesaro with a modified with after Drew really worked one arm. Drew had Cesaro most of the match but one small mistake gave Cesaro the opening he needed to take the win.

**MAIN SHOW PART 1**

Stephanie chatting to the Universe, letting us know that they will do their best to take us away from all the world events even just for a few hours.

Montage of stars singing America the Beautiful

The Darkest Hour is just before the Dawn

The Gronk out as host, for tonight and tomorrow.

**MATCH 1 Women’s Tag Team titles. The Kabuki Warriors meeting once again facing Nikki Cross/Alexa Bliss. (Michael Cole and J.B.L calling this match) The Belts are suppose to be defended on all WWE places, Smackdown, RAW and NXT. Alexa was getting her backside kicked but managed to get to Nikki. The ladies are leaving it all in the ring, this is a great opening match. One hell of a fight but Nikki/Alexa win the belts.

**MATCH 2 Friday Night Smackdown. King Corbin facing Elias, who was injured on Smackdown (8 days ago), not sure if Elias is medically cleared to compete after the fall from the nest that he took at the hands of Corbin. Corbin demanded that the ref ring the bell and declared him the winner but Elias came out, Corbin tried to stop Elias from getting to the ring but Elias took it to him. Elias steals the win, with a handful of tights. Corbin getting amonished by Jessica the Ref and Elias pounced on it.

**MATCH 3 RAW. Byron and Tom calling the match. Becky Lynch with the year long reign of Women’s champion on the line against Shayna Baszler. (the rumor was that Shanya would win, Becky wanting to take a break from Wrestling. I understand the need to take time off after being on top of the division for so long but to pass the belt to Shayna, really?)(this match will be interesting with no crowd to hear the trash talk) Becky rolled up Shayna from the Kurobuta clutch for the win.

**MATCH 5 Smackdown Live. Michael and J.B.L Back at the desk. Daniel Bryan with Drew in his corner facing Sami Zayne (Cesaro/Shinsuke) for the Intercontinental Belt. OMG seriously, Sami playing games getting in the ring. Daniel has has enough of Sami, beating the snot out of him. Sami has been a punching bag for Daniel. Sami somehow managed to get the win. I have no clue, He actually did it on his own but still. (disappointed in this match)

**MATCH 6 Smackdown Live. Triple threat Ladder match for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles. From the New Day will be Kofi Kingston, Jimmy Uso with Jim Morrison. (with The Miz sick and in isolation it was turned into a triple threat ladder match). This is one of those matches that anything can happen and probably will. This is turning into a great match, leaving everything in the ring. In a fluke, Marrison/The Miz keep the belts.

**MATCH 7 RAW. Tom and Byron calling the match. Kevin Owens facing Seth Rollins. I am really hoping that Kevin pays Seth back in spades. (You can hear the trash talking)It would of been a great match but Seth cut corners and did everything possible, Seth got himself disqualified to give Kevin the win. This has turned into a NO D.Q match; Kevin just flew off the Wrestlemania sign onto the announcers table. Kevin dragged Seth back to the ring, hitting a stunner and wins the match against Seth.

**MATCH 8 Smackdown Live. Michael and J.B.L calling the match. Braun Strowman taking Roman Reigns place facing Goldberg. Braun is dead focused, as Bill is coming to the ring. Bill with 3 spears and he kicked out. Braun with 4 running power slams to win his first Universal title. (not surprised this title changed hands)

**Match 9 Smackdown Live. Michael and J.B.L calling. A.J styles vs The Undertaker in a boneyard match.(I have no clue what this is) This match is pre-recorded. Taker is having his way with A.J. Now The O.C show up. This has been an interesting set up. I can’t stand A.J (plays a good heel). Always been an Undertaker fan. He scares me but he has lasted this long in the business for re-inventing himself. A.J thought he had the win, so smug, but taker had other ideas. (It’s been good to hear the conservation between them) A.J begging for his life. The Undertaker with the last laugh so to speak as he buried A.J.

The Undertaker rode off into the darkness on his Harley.

That is how night 1 ended, leaving quite the cliff hanger for night 2 of Wresltemania.
