The Match Card
Rhea Ripley vs. Michin: Rhea is on a warpath after the constant 3-on-1 attacks from Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin. This should be interesting. Michin is on her own, but B-Fab is at ringside. Jade came out, once again, with Rhea finally winning, but it’s a 3-on-1 as per usual until Iyo Sky shows up to help Mamie.
Tama Tonga vs. Uncle Howdy: This one is going to be eerie. Can someone explain this fued to me, please? It’s been all Tama. Solo told Tama he can’t lose. Tama had told Solo not to come out, but Solo did anyway. The Ref caught him, stopping him from interfering in the match. That was just enough to give Uncle Howdy the win. In the ring, Tama is screaming that he never needed the help. The lantern has been nothing but a headache. Tama took the lantern, setting it on the apron for Uncle Howdy to take it back.
Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria: Huge tag team stakes for the Women’s division. It’s been an OK match. Nothing really special. Just as Alexa and Charlotte started to celebrate, Nia/Lash showed up.
Sami Zayn: The new U.S. Champ is expected to address the crowd (and maybe Carmelo Hayes). Trick Williams is in the ring, chatting about the Intercontentional Title. The Fued with Carmelo Hayes is coming. Here comes Melo to the ring. Sami finally gave in to Melo, and he has his rematch. Then Sami turned around and decked Trick.
WrestleMania 42 Heat: Keep an eye out for Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre. Their Unsanctioned Match at Mania is getting personal.
Aleister Black is facing Matt Cardona in singles action. Zelina is at the ringside in Aliester’s corner. Matt was not 100%. Give Matt the credit for giving it a go.
The Miz/Kit Wilson in tag action with Damien Priest/R-Truth — I have no clue on this one; the titles were on the line, but nothing happened. Danhausen was involved, but need I say more.
Cody came out at the end of the match, but he was incandescent. He went off at Pat MaCaffe, basically telling him that there are receipts to pay for and he would pay. I know the rumours are that Randy will win at Wrestlemania 42, but things can change. If Cody goes to that dark place, anything can happen
Sami Zayne with an open challenge match, Carmelo accepted. It was a good technical battle with Melo almost getting the win. Hayes had a nasty landing, wth the Ref checking on him. Sami took advantage and got the win. Of course, Trick Williams is sitting at ringside, taking out Sami after the match ended. This match at Mania will be an all-out war.
