(story line in part to help Elias, who is out with a torn pec muscle) (Jeff’s issues with drinking is a real life issue, I am surprised that Jeff has agreeded to this storyline BUt, if it helps even one person)(this storyline has gone way too far, in my book)
Renee in the ring hosting a contract signing between Jeff Hardy/Sheamus. Jeff had to take a supposed test for alcohol/drugs in his system or the match didn’t go ahead. Jeff passed needless to say. They will meet at Backlash on Sunday
The New Day facing Cesaro/Shinsuke. Cescaro/Shinsuke stole a win.
Background on the Intercontinental Title. As Daniel Bryan/A.J Styles go to war. No one has really made a mistake of yet to give the other an opening. It’s been even. Daniel with a deep knowledge of submission holds. Daniel had picked apart A.J but Daniel made a mistake and Daniel crashed. It’s been a really good match, they are letting them go, no funny business or anything. Daniel/A.J are giving it everything they have, you can see that they are both starting to really tire. A.J with the win but it was one hell of a fight. The boys are exhausted, neither has moved.
Sasha/Bayley in the ring trying to celebrate the Tag Title Win. They will be in a triple threat match at Backlash against The Iconics, joining them also will be Nikki Cross/Alexa Bliss. (I really wish they would split these two up, I so want to see a classic Bayley/Sasha battle like they had in NXT) Nikke/Alexa have crashed the party. The Iconics are on the screen.
Braun Strowman with Heavy Machinery facing off against The Miz/Morrison and Dolph Ziggler. It was messy but Braun/Otis/Tucker with the win.
