Anything can happen as we have seen on RAW and NXT this week, so here on Smackdown, things should be no different.
SHUT UP CORY
Matt Riddle on his way to the ring. Not sure if this is a match but he is having a chat with Michael Cole. Matt has a win over A.J Styles. (love Matt’s laidback attitude)(due do frostbite as a kid, Matt recovered but is not able to wear shoes. He has no feeling in his feel) King Corbin is out, picking a fit with Matt I would guess. Corbin having a whinge about what Matt did to him last week. Telling Matt needs to show respect to him. Matt forced to face John Morrison. That was a hell of a win by Matt. Morrison took him over his limits. Matt was celebrating but A.J had to spoil it.
Drew Gulak vs A.J Styles for the Intercontinental title. A.J doing everything possible to hang on to the title. Drew is looking great. A.J with a styles clash but Drew kicked out. A.J retains in the end but Drew made him earn it.
Sasha/Bayley in the ring. Listen to the chorus of booing. Listen to the bullies, screaming that they are not getting the respect that they deserve. (I dont know about you guys but I have had more than enough of these two. Time they get knocked down a few pegs)Pretty sad when I watch half the show on mute because I can’t stand the sound of some people.(they are doing their job well when you can’t stand them) Alexa/Nikki to the rescue. Alexa just decked Bayley/Sasha just accepted a match for Bayley with Alexa. Bayley with the win by DQ but she for an ass whippin from Nikki.

The New Day sees Kofi in singles action with Shinsuke, Big E/Cesaro at ringside. Cesaro causing a diversion to help Shinsuke BUT, BigE/Cesaro both get tossed from ringside. I have never heard Jess the Ref scream at both of them. Shinsuke managed to get the win. It was a good fight.
Sheamus having a toast to Jeff Hardy. Jeff has alcohol issues, which he battles each day. Jeff took everything that Sheamus had to say but basically told him to get stuffed. Poured the drink on the bar tender, hit him with a swan ton bomb. Jeff never took the drink. (its a good storyline but at times I think it gets taken a little too far.) I just hope they give this story the respect it deserves
