With Summerslam, only a week from this coming Sunday (August 23) storylines along with matches are beginning to fall into place. The writing team needs to step up to create some great finals with their being no crowd for the wrestlers to feed off of. (what is up with this group that took out Smackdown Live last week. not liking this storyline, at least not yet)
The contract signing between Seth Rollins/Murphy against Dominic Mystero. Samoa Joe is overseeing the contract signing. Seth screaming at Joe and everyone else that he had no choice in all of this. Seth said because he got crapped on by everyone that he had no choice but to become the Monday Night Messiah. Seth telling Dom that he will end his career before it begins.
Humberto Carrillo facing Seth in the opening match of the show. Needless to say, Seth wins the match and is not destroying Dom. Murphy and Seth just tied Dom up in the ropes, (IMP this storyline needs to end, Seth has done enough damage) Seth is standing there laughing. Just like a BULLY. (the writers had better have Dom winning this match, I for one want to see this storyline end)
Doing a recap of Retribution from RAW last monday and Smackdown Live this past Friday.
Andrade on his way to the ring with Zelina/Angel Garza. (Monte Ford was poisoned – Storyline) Zelina says she is innocent. Angelo Dawkins facing Andrade. Just as Dawkins was on his way to winning the match legally, Zelina up on the apron, getting the Ref’s attention and here comes Binca Belair to take care of Zelina, helping Dawkins get the win. It’s Zelina’s turn in the ring with Bianca Belair. Zelina tried using an eye poke to steal the win, NOT. Zelina just got dropped on her face by Bianca. What a great looking K.O.D on Zelina.
The Hurt Business in the M.V. Lounge. (IMO I am not sure what this is all about. All they want to do is to hurt people, he is in the I told you so mood) Shelton Benjamin in a match with Apollo Crews. Thanks to Bobby, Shelton steals the win.
Mickey James announcing that she is returning to RAW. Lana/Natalya are dressed as twins.
Ricochet/Cedric Alexander with The Viking Raiders facing Akira Tozawa/3 ninjas. R-Truth dressed as a ninja has fooled everyone and gotten the 24/7 title back.
Ruby Riott/Liv Morgan facing the Iconics. (Peyton Royce facing Liv Morgan) Billie Kaye set up Ruby helping Peyton get the win.
Asuka on her way to the ring, she has to beat Bayley to face Sasha at Summerslam. Once again Sasha sticking her nose in getting the distraction going. (sasha and bayley doing all they can to make it as difficult as possible for Asuka to win) Asuka made Bayley TAP OUT. See you at Summerslam Sasha.
Randy Orton with Ric Flair in his corner facing Kevin Owens. Kevin has managed to work on Randy’s surgically repaired shoulder. Kevin also has shoulder issues. Randy got the win, but Kevin made him earn it though. Randy telling Ric Flair that he is now a liability to him. Randy telling Ric (71 years old) all he is, is a hog for the spotlight. Ric telling Randy he wants him to break his record. For Randy to get to 17 World Championships. Randy just low blowed Ric. Randy just punted Ric (this should take him out of the storyline, which I had read might happen) Drew in the ring to try and protect Ric, calling Randy “An evil son of a bitch.”
Summerslam just got a whole lot more interesting.
