Since I live in Australia, it’s sad when I wake up to the news of people who I have watched in WWE, were fans of. The news came this morning that Road Warrior Animal (Joe Laurinaitis) has passed away. He is the brother of John Laurinaitis (Nikki & Brie Bella Step Dad) Those of us WWE fans from all over the world send their condolences during this time.
NXT Takeover will be on October 4th
The show is opening with a Women’s Battle Royal with the winner going on to Take Over to face Io Shirai. Candice LeRae (who attacked Tegan Kox earlier in the day making sure she can’t compete tonight. Rhea Ripley. An organized mess which is what Battle royals usually are. Rhea is my girl, she is also from my Aussie home town of Adelaide. What a save by Kasey. Bugger, Rhea is out thanks to Raquel. It’s down to Shotzi and Candance. Candance somehow managed to get the win.

Tomasso Ciampa facing Jake Atlas – I worry for Jake in this one, Tomasso is pure evil in the ring. Jake gave it a hell of a go, but it wasn’t meant to be at least for now.
Roderick Strong/Danny Birch facing Fabian Aichner/ Raul Mendoza in tag action. I have one question for you. . . WHY? It was a good, fast paced match. It could of gone either way but Strong/Birch with the win. Undisputed Era will face Imperium in the future for a #1 tag team contender title shot.
Damien Priest acing Austin Theory. So far so good with this match up. No one is getting out ahead. neither has really made a mistake so far. Theory is pushing PRiest but the trash taking will get him in trouble. I told you the trash talking by Theory would get him in trouble, Priest just ended it. Johnny Gargano will face Damien Priest at Takeover for the belt.

Gauntlet match – Eliminated by pinfall or submission in the ring with Kushida/Kyle O’reilly. Adelaide’s own Bronson Reed in the ring now, Velveteen Dream creeped in the ring hitting Kushida, helping Reed with the elimination. Timothy Thatcher in the ring. Camryn Grimes on his way to the ring. Bronson is out thanks to Kyle. Grimes is hiding at the moment, Timothy/Kyle fighting it out. Kyle somehow eliminated Timothy. Grimes thought he had Kyle but Kyle got his foot on the rope. Grimes tapped out so its Kyle O’reilly is heading to NXT: TakeOver to face Finn Balor for the NXT title.
