1st match is the Women’s tag Team Dusty Cup Finals. First time in the NXT history that the Women have had their go. The winners will get a title shot at the current Women’s Tag Team titles (Shayna/Nia). Dakota Kai/Raquel Gonzalez facing Ember Moon/Shotzi Blackheart. (they need to get Raquel out of the picture as soon as possible to have any chance)Needless to say its not an even match with Raquel size and strength. They are letting this match go, the girls are leaving everything in the ring, the NXT Universe is enjoying everything. figured as much that Kai/Gonzalez would win, its hard to beat that strength. Mind you it was an amazing match. I must admit, I would love to see Shayna in a match with Raquel.
Kushida on his way to the ring to have Johnny Gargano for the North American title. I expect Johnny to try anything and everything to keep the belt. (Austin Theory was taken out by Dexter Lumis) So far no outer ring interference. (I will admit that Johnny is a good wrestler when he stops playing games, puts his mind in the game)It was a hell of a fight but Johnny has kept the belt, it was not easy by any means. I’m not happy Johnny kept the belt but I have to give some respect, he did it on his own with no outside help.
M.S.K facing Grizzled Young Veterans for the Dusty Cup winners. Don’t blink or you might miss something. G.Y.V have done their homework against M.S.K but the frustration factor has gotten the better of Grizzled in the past. OMG — This is the match of the night so far, both teams are having to create on the run to try anything and everything to get the win. Congrats to M.S.K who gave everything they had and more to get the well deserved win for the Dusty Cup in the Men’s division.
Triple Threat Women’s title match with Toni Storm, Io Shirai, Mercedes Martinez. This one will be interesting, it’s the strength of Mercedes that can be the issue in all of this but don’t count out Toni either. You need your head on a swivel in this match. Out of nowhere, Io comes flying in to break the count that Toni to pin Mercedes for the win. I would love to see Toni/Io in a one on one.
LA Knight has signed with NXT.
The final match between Pete Dune/Finn Balor will be an intense, all-out war. Finn holds the belt but Pete has made it clear that he will stop at nothing to take the belt from Finn. The Universe is so loud and proud cheering Finn on. Pete is doing anything and everything to destroy Finn at all cost. I can’t even begin to put into words this match, it has been cringing, technical match. I have no clue how in the world they are both still going after all the abuse they have dished out to each other. Finn wins the war. This was well worth the main event it was given.
Lorcan/Birch out to beat up on Finn even more after the win. This is wrong on so many levels but here comes Undisputed Era out to protect Finn. Kyle ad the boys looking after Finn, he wasn’t sure at first. UE is falling apart. Finn got kicked, Kyle got kicked by Adam, both left lying in the ring.
