Getting ready to head to Survivor Series: War Games
Drew McIntyre in the ring, explaining why he helped Judgement Day keep the titles. Drew is angry in part thanks to Cody bringing Jey to RAW. NO, Drew has not joined Judgement Day but he will be on their team at War Games.
Drew and Judgement day at ringside, Jey is called out by Drew but Jey also has backup. Thanks to Sami/Seth/Cody/Jey is back but it’s Adam with the news. The Baby Faces must find a 5th by the end of the show. 1 member of each team will compete tonight for the advantage in the War Games.
Nia Jax is a bully
Fatal-4 for the Women’s Tag Team titles. The winner faces Chelsea Green/Piper Niven. The winners are Natalya/Tegan Kox. (Of course, Chelsea is complaining )
**NXT — Heritage Cup between Noam Dar and Chad Gable. Needless to say, it ended as it always does. Because of a tie, the cup does not change hands.
When Layra Valkyria was on the way to the ring for her match with Xia Lee for the NXT Women’s title, Xia hit her with a roundhouse kick to try and take her out, that same kick knocking Becky Lynch into a concussion and knocked out Candace LaRae.
More qualifying matches for the Iron Survivor match at Deadline.
Wes Lee demands a rematch for the North American Title but first, he has to survive a Fatal-4 way with Cameron Grimes, Bronson Reed and Johnny Gargano. If Wes wins he gets Dom at Deadline. (it’s time the North American Title returned to where it really belongs, on NXT)
The match between Layra/Xia was a really good match, it was tough, you could see it but they gave it the time it deserved. Layra beat her in the middle of the ring.
**Smackdown — Nothing really special about the show. It was all tag matches. No belts changed hands. Typical going home show, making sure no one really got hurt so they could compete.
Dragon Lee will be replacing Carlito in his match against Santos Escobar (heel turn) since Santos injured Carlito. (just got more of my interest in this match)
The only thing I did enjoy was watching Greyson Waller/Austin Theory get a beat down from Kevin Owens/L.A. Knight.
Have I told you I can’t stand Pretty Deadly?
