RAW Notes

26 days away from Wrestlemania weekend

Seth told Drew that he was not worried about Drew at Wrestlemania.

Drew McIntyre out to the ring, complaining how everything is wrong, that Seth is not paying attention to the world title. Drew is glad he injured CM Punk. At the writing of this blog, Drew does not have a new contract but due to injury, they have added time to his current contract. I can’t see them putting the belt on Drew depending on the time he has left but anything is possible, at this point, Damien still has the briefcase.

There will be a 6-pack ladder match for the Tag Team Titles at Wrestlemania as announced by Nick Aldis/Adam Pearce. Over the next weeks, there will be qualifying matches for the right to enter the match. Next Monday on RAW there will be qualifying matches between New Day/Alpha Academy along with DIY facing The Creed Brothers and The Miz/R Truth facing Indus Sher.

Cody Rhodes is out to have a chat with Michael Cole. One-on-one in the ring. Michael says to Cody “What do you want to talk about?” Michael asks Cody about that slap. Is Cody nervous and afraid, sure he is, but even I would worry if he wasn’t. For the first time, Cody broke down talking about Dusty, how he can’t hand him the title but can hand it to the one person left, His Mom. Cody told Michael that for the first time, on night two of Wrestlemania, a member of the Rhodes family is the Undisputed Champion. Michael will get the privilege to say that “Cody has finished the story”

Gaulent match — Ricochet opening to face JD McDonagh. Ricochet, wins the opening match, facing number 2 in Bronson Reed(my pick to win this), Bronson wins, waiting on Sami Zayn, and Sami somehow manages to beat Bronson, (takes a cheap shot on Sami as Shinsuke watches on). Sami manages to beat Shinsuke, and Chad Gable is the final wrestler in the gaulent. It was a hell of a match. It could have gone either way but it was Sami who wanted it more on the day.

Sami Zayn will face Gunther for the Intercontentional Championship ( I hear rumours that the belt will change to get Gunther ready for a top belt, (World or Universal)

Originally from Ohio but now call Adelaide, South Australia home. The love of my life Phil recently passed away and I am trying to figure out this new thing called life. Working on getting my Social Media up and running again. Also working on getting more books published. Learning how to trust my instinicts in making decisions is a huge learning curve.
