Match Order for Wrestlemania

Will give you my thoughts on the matches.

This is a rumour but it will be interesting to see how it holds up

**Night 1

Rhea Ripley facing Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Title to open. This is a great match to open the show. It’s going to be hard fought, read a possible side story that Dom could interfere, costing Rhea the title. (My choice — Becky wins, having one more title run before she retires)

6-pack Tag Team Ladder Match. (this is how they are splitting the belts)(Raw tag belts will hang separately from Smackdown Betls) The match will end once both belts have been claimed. This match could go any number of ways. It’s another match that anything goes. (My choice — The Miz/R-Truth win the Raw belts, Pete Dunn/Tyler Bait win the Smackdown Belts)

Rey Mysterio/Dragon Lee taking on Dominick Mysterio/Santos Escobar. Another Father versus Son battle. In this match, you need to sit down and give your full attention because if you blink you will miss something. (My choice — Heart says Rey/Dragon but Head says Dom/Santos will steal the win)

It’s Brother facing Brother as Jimmy Uso faces off against Jey Uso. (question will this bring them back together once it’s over? Will they help with the Bloodline storyline?) This will be interesting because the boys know each other so well. Jey has more single experience than Jimmy, could this pay off? I am wondering if Solo will interfere to help Jimmy win? (My choice — Jey with the win)

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi facing Damage Control. Been waiting to see Jade in action, this is a good trio. All are strong. Damage Control will try everything to steal the win but I am hoping to see the possibility of a tag team coming out of this combination. I would love to see Jade/Bianca for a tag team and go after the Women’s Tag titles. (My choice — Jade, Naomi, Bianca for the win)

Sami Zayn facing Gunther for the Intercontentional Title. Gunther is so strong, but a couple of wrestlers have pushed Gunther to his limits. Hoping that Imperium stay out of this. Sami is at his best as an underdog. Will Chad be in Sami’s corner? (I have been reading that Chad could do a heel turn. If Chad does will this cost Sami the title) A thought process with Gunther is that they will take the title off him to get him ready for a run for the Heavyweight Title. (My choice — Sami but if Gunter keeps the belt I won’t be overly surprised)

To close night one is the tag match Rock/Roman facing Seth/Cody. This is going to get ugly which is an understatement. If Roman/Rock win it’s Bloodline rules for the match between Cody/Roman. If Seth/Cody wins, Bloodline is banned from the match on night 2. I honestly don’t know what to think, I really want Cody/Seth to win but I have been reading that Rock will turn on Roman making sure that Cody finishes his story. That is why I am thinking that possibly Rock/Roman will win on night 1 with someone betraying Roman on night 2 and helping Cody win. (reading other things that Stone Cold/ John Cena could also play a part in things. (My choice — I want Seth/Cody to win but I have a feeling for setup for night 2 Rock/Roman will win)

Night 2

Seth Rollins puts the world heavyweight title on the line against Drew McIntyre. I can’t stand Drew as a heel. No one is sure if he has signed a new contract. Drew did have time added to his contract due to injury. The only way I can figure out if they put the belt on Drew is to get Seth off so he can get healthy. (Seth’s back and knee) Clash in the Castle has been announced for June 15th. Do they want the belt on Drew for the Clash, which it’s in his home country of Scotland? (My choice — Seth but I have a feeling it will be Drew)

It is a 6-man tag team with The Pride squaring off against The Final Testament. I don’t have much of an interest in this match. It can go either way. The final Testament have the weight along with strength boxes ticked. (My choice is Final Testament)

The war comes to a head as L.A. Knight faces A.J. Styles. A.J. is just as vicious as a heel. He is playing it well as I can’t stand him right now. L. A. needs to get a really good push heading towards a belt. The question is can L.A. match Styles in being vicious? (My choice — L.A. Knight)

The United States title is on the line in a triple-threat match with Randy Orton/Kevin Owens/Logan Paul. This title really needs to come off Paul. The title is barely being defended as it should but with Paul as the heel along with his love of the brass knuckles, someone needs to end him. Yes, Logan is good but he as well as people like Rhonda Rousey never came up through the ranks. They have never done the hard yards, they more or less had it handed to them. (remember this is MY opinion) Kevin/Randy I think will work together up to a point but then someone will turn on the other. With Randy’s back, I can’t see him being able to work as long as he would like. Give Randy one more title run before he retires. Would Kevin turn heel on Randy to win? (My choice — Randy Orton or Kevin Owens. As long as it’s not Logan Paul I will be happy)

Bayley facing Iyo Sky for the Smackdown Women’s Title — This could be an all-out war. Wondering how much leeway the Ref will have in this match. I am hoping that Damage Control is not a factor in this. Iyo/Bayley really need to fight this out themselves. This should complete Bayley’s turn to Babyface for a possible one last run. (My choice — Bayley for the win)

Closing the show will be Roman against Cody for the Universal Title — depending on the outcome of the tag match, this could get really nasty. I would love for it to finally be a fair fight, but I can’t see that happening. There will be interference, It has gotten really boring with Roman keeping the belt, which is supposed to be defended at least every 30 days which this belt is not. Roman works when Roman feels like it. Well, it’s time for the storyline to end, for Roman to be on his way into the sunset. There is no use trying to leave the title on Roman to beat the record that Hulk Hogan holds because it is just a different time. (My choice — Cody finally finishes his story)
