Battleground 2024

Taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada

I am not sure how things will go today, I know who I would like to win but waiting to see what happens.

**The opening match is the Ladder match for the first North American Women’s Title. Sol Ruca, Jaida Parker, Michin, Fallon Henley, Lash Legend, Kelani Jordan. Just to remind you in a ladder match, anything goes and the first one up the ladder who takes down the title is the champion. The ladies have set the tone for the show, Kelani Jordan is your first Women’s North American Champion.

**Tag Team Titles on the line as Anderson/Gallows facing Nathan Frazier/Axiom. No matter what Anderson/Gallows try Nathan/Axiom have answers. You could see that the Ref gave some leeway in the match. Titles stay with Nathan Frazier/Axiom

**Underground battle between Shayna Baszler and Lola Vice. With Shayna being the MMA fighter, I am giving her an edge in this match. This match is an anything-goes match, the only reason for the Ref is to stop the game due to injury, or if there is a knockout.

***The next PLE for NXT will be Heatwave on July 7th in Toronto. (Money in the Bank weekend)

**North American title Defense with Oba Femi putting the title on the line against Wes Lee/Joe Coffee. This match will be interesting. I am hoping they let it go a bit, letting the wrestlers tell the story. Obi has a definite strength advantage, and Wes has speed. Even with help from Joe Coffee’s henchmen in the end it was Obi still the champion.

**Women’s Title match with Roxanne Perez putting the title on the line against TNA Knockout Women’s title holder Jordynne Grace. Cross promotions are always interesting. This is a short storyline but let’s see how long they are given to let this story develop. With a little outside help somehow, Roxy manages to keep the title for now. (have read that Roxy will get called to the main roster once she drops the NXT title)

**NXT Men’s Title match has current title holder Trick Williams defending against upstart Ethan Page. To me, Ethan thinks the world owes him and he will take what he thinks is his. Ringside was a wreck, almost turning into a no-holds-bar match of sorts. Trick fights hard, keeping the title for another day.
