RAW in Omha

Cole and Pat are taking care of the announcer’s desk.

Alicia Taylor is taking care of the ring announcer duties.

Giovanni Vinci has been released by WWE. Shinsuke Nakamura has also left the WWE.

Jey Uso opened the show, and Gunther made his appearance. Pat has accepted Scott Steiner’s offer to train him and be in his corner at Backlash. Jey called out Logan Paul, but Paul Heyman walked out instead. Heyman began cutting a promo to clarify the situation with the Bloodline. He seemed to be getting worked up, and if he didn’t calm down, he might blow a vein in his neck. While venting about the Bloodline, Heyman expressed his frustrations and even apologised to Jey, stating that it wasn’t about him. However, he hinted at a potential feud with Jey, suggesting that Seth needs to be the champion, not Jey.

Heyman then told Jey to choose the day and time when he would lose the World title to Seth, to which Jey responded that it would be tonight. Adam just needs to make it official. At the beginning of the Penta/J.D. match, Adam Pearce made the title match official.

Penta (87 kilos) is on his way to the ring, facing J.D. McDonagh, waiting to see if Carlito, Finn stay at the ringside. (They are at the ringside) Finn/Carlito both just got tossed. Chad Gable showed up to cause issues. Penta finally gets the win after having to battle 4 on 1 at one time.

Austin Theory is in singles action with Greyson Waller at the ringside. Oh no, his opponent is Sheamus. Waller is not looking after Austin as he should be, being tag partners. That was an ugly win for Sheamus, wondering if Austin got knocked out.

**AT BACKLASH — Dom will defend the Intercontinental Title at Backlash against Penta.

Becky Lynch is on the way to the ring. After trash-talking Lyria, who comes out to defend herself. After a war of words and some fist flying, Lyria leaves Becky lying in the middle of the ring.

Iyo Sky is in singles action against Roxanne Perez. Roxy on the mic. She is getting booed by the Universe. (Rhea is here in Australia doing promotions for Crown Jewel Perth. ) Iyo took some serious punishment but finally got the win, in the end. That was unexpected with Roxy showing some respect, turned out to be a set up.

Otis is facing Rusev in singles action. I don’t hold much hope for Otis, but stranger things have happened. First time in 5 years Rusev has been in singles action. Rusev with the win, but he has gone nuts, beating up Otis/Tazawa. Natalya is out helping Maxine. Adam Pearce is pissed, needless to say.

Adam Pearce has asked Pat to join him in the ring. Gunther is also in the house. Adam told them that they can say what they want, but there will be no fist thrown tonight. Adam has not left the ring. (I also read a rumour that Goldberg could show up, costing Gunther the match, setting up a match as Summer Slam possible) Gunther screamed at Pat, slapped him and walked off.

Main Event is Jey Uso, putting the title on the line against Seth Rollins, with Paul and Braun in Seth’s corner. Jey is refusing to take any crap from Seth, with Seth not liking it. Jey lost his shoe in that dive through the ropes, sending Seth over the announcer’s table. I don’t think Seth thought this would be this hard. Seth tried for a stomp but managed to get out of the way. Seth thought this would be a walk in the park, but it hasn’t been. Both guys are leaving it all in the ring. Seth didn’t get all the stomp connected like he usually does. Sami’s music just started, and Braun was ambushed by Sami. Holy Cow, after a spear by Braun on Jey, here comes CM Punk with a chair. Seth, Braun and Paul are running like scared little brats.

Things just got interesting.
