More fallout on SmackDown from Clash in Paris.
Tonight’s show is taking place in Chicago, CM Punk’s hometown. The big question is, will CM’s wife, AJ, make an appearance? (Chatter is that if AJ makes the decision not to return, rumour is that Rhea Ripley will become his tag partner.)

Cole and Corey (will be on SmackDown for the next couple of months, according to Cole) are at the announcer’s desk with Mark Nash, looking after the ring announcing duties.
The show is opening tonight with John Cena, marking his final appearance in Chicago. John is letting the Universe have their time. You can see how much this means to John. Ok, Sami Zayn just walked out. When John held the United States Title, Sami had his first match against him. Sami just offered John a title match; Sami wants to face John one more time. Being the spur of the moment, this has been a good match. This is turning into a classic match. (after that move the Ref has no clue what to think)Brock Lesnar just walked out. (Rumour is that Brock will be his last opponent) John will have a match with Brock at WrestlePalooza.
In a highly anticipated singles match, Damien Priest squared off against Aleister Black. Before the bell even rang, Black surprised everyone by launching a fierce attack on Priest, setting the tone for the encounter. Once the match officially began, Black showcased his striking skills and cunning tactics, maintaining control for the majority of the bout. Despite Priest’s attempts to mount a comeback, Aleister’s relentless offence proved too much. Ultimately, Black secured the victory, leaving no doubt about his dominance in this intense matchup.
The Women’s United States title is on the line as Guilia (Kiana James in her corner) is defending it against Michin. It’s a Guilia with some help from Kiana. Well, told you with help from Kiana. Now, it’s the post-match beatdown.
Seth’s entrance music blares through the arena, and the crowd erupts as Seth and Becky make their way to the ring. The tension is palpable, and the creative team couldn’t resist shaking things up again. Frankly, I’m starting to feel that Punk deserves a stronger presence in this storyline—it’s becoming rather monotonous. With the television muted, I can’t help but notice how disengaged I am.
