Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It’s actually a pretty historic one because it’s the first time a traditional Royal Rumble has ever been held outside of North America. They’ve actually built a custom outdoor stadium just for this event at the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD)—it’s being called the Riyadh Season Stadium. WrestleMania 43 in 2027 is heading back to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of Riyadh Season. It’ll be the first time “The Showcase of the Immortals” has ever left North America, so you’ll be covering some serious history next year.

Wade/Cole are sitting at the desk, and Mark Nash is calling his first Rumble.

“After years of being the ‘almost’ girl of the Rumble, Liv Morgan proved tonight that she is the centrepiece of the division. By outlasting Tiffany Stratton and navigating the chaos of a collapsing Damage CTRL and a Rampaging Lash Legend, she has secured her spot on the Grandest Stage of Them All.”

**AJ Styles is putting his career on the line facing Gunther. Guther came out wearing the silk robe, it’s just so out of place. AJ got a pop as he entered. The Universe is on edge, knowing the stipulations. The Psychological Game: Notice how AJ handles Gunther’s chops. He isn’t just taking them; he’s using the pain to fire himself up. The crowd’s energy stays the same even if the language for the “1-2-3” is different. Gunther starts making mistakes when he gets frustrated. That frustration is exactly what makes the “Ring General” so dangerous but so vulnerable right now. Throughout this match, Gunther has been obsessed with the fact that AJ won’t just lie down and retire. It was not meant to be tonight. Gunther put AJ to sleep.

**Sami Zayn is facing Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed Belt. The energy in Riyadh is going to be electric for Sami—it’s essentially his second home—and seeing him potentially fail again after such a massive buildup is going to be gut-wrenching. Can’t stand Drew, if you didn’t know. How Rude, Drew just used Sheamus’s White Noise. That was beyond cruel for Sami; you know that Drew will not shut up now. Drew’s “Villain” Peak: Drew is now officially the “Final Boss” of SmackDown. He’s taken out Cody, he’s mocked AJ, and now he’s crushed Sami in his home city. The fall is going to be massive when it finally happens. (Side Note – Once Sami landed outside on his back wrong, Drew targeted his back for the rest of the match. Real injury or storyline) Does Sami earn a spot for Elimination Chamber?

2026 Men’s Royal Rumble Match: Summary

The Winner: Roman Reigns

  • Entry: #26
  • The Story: Returning as the OTC (Original Tribal Chief), Roman stood alone without the Bloodline. He systematically dismantled the field, including his own family members, to prove he is still the “Head of the Table.”

“Drew McIntyre didn’t just cost Cody Rhodes a match tonight; he attempted to commit grand larceny on a legacy. The ‘Heist of Riyadh’ proves that the Undisputed Title isn’t just Drew’s prize—it’s his hostage.”
