The Hook: Remind everyone that SmackDown is moving to Syfy for the next two weeks (Feb 13 & 20) because of the Olympics.

“The Nightmare Unleased: Why Drew McIntyre Should Be Running.”
“In the world of sports, we often focus on the wins, the losses, and the storylines that play out under the bright lights. But tonight, our hearts are outside the ring with referee Daphanie LaShaunn. After facing an unimaginable family tragedy this week, the wrestling community is reminded that the people wearing the stripes are more than just officials—they are family. As a sports writer, I’ve seen the power of this industry to rally together, and seeing the outpouring of support for Daphanie proves that while the matches may be scripted, the love and solidarity for one of our own are very real. We stand with you, Daphanie.”
“The Power of Positivity: Big E Closes the Ring Chapter.” Mention his WWE Title win, the 12-year journey, and how he’s choosing his health over the ‘never say never’ trap.
Drew McIntyre was on his way to the ring until Cody just jumped him. Drew never got to the ring. Cody is livid to say the least. Cody was born in Charlotte. Drew wants Jacob/Cody disqualified from the Elimination Chamber for attacking him. Well, what about Drew attacking Cody during the Royal Rumble?
He’s doing exactly what you’d expect: playing the victim and calling for Cody Rhodes (and even Jacob Fatu) to be banned from the Elimination Chamber qualifying matches for “assaulting” him. The Coward’s Defence: He’s claiming he’s the only real “warrior” left and that Cody is just a “corporate” fraud who can’t handle losing the title.
Iyo/Rhea: Defending the Women’s Tag Team titles against Kiana James/Guilia. This could be a decent match. I am sure Iyn/Rhea will have their hands full, but no title change. (Rumour has it that the titles will stay put til Wrestlemania, match with the Bella Twins) Already, Kiana/Guilia are doing everything they can to steal the belts. I was not expecting that to be the dog fight it was. It was a fast-paced match, which I actually thought might catch Iyo/Rhea off guard. NO title change. Facing Lash Legend/Nia Jax next week with Titles on the line.
Carmelo Hayes to defend the United States Title against The Miz. Miz made Hayes work for it, but in the end, Hayes kept the United States Title.
Women’s Elimination qualifying match with Lash Legend, Tiffany Stratton, and Chelsea Green. It was short work, but Tiffany made sure to get rid of Lash Legend, then turned around and pinned Chelsea for the win.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Tama Tonga: This is the big one they’ve been building. Shinsuke is looking to prove he’s still the “King of Strong Style” against the “MFT” Tama Tonga. It’s hard to win when it’s a 3-on-1 match.
Kit Wilson is facing Oba Femi. Kit Wilson came out and did his usual bit—gyrating, shushing the crowd, and complaining about the “toxic masculinity” and “meatheads” in the Royal Rumble. He basically begged for a challenge, and the crowd started chanting “Toxic!” right back at him. Well, that match took 90 seconds.
“Liv Morgan’s ‘Calculated’ Chaos: Is She Playing Chess or Just Being Annoying?”Liv Morgan’s Appearance: Fresh off her Royal Rumble win, Liv is scheduled to appear. Everyone is waiting to see if she officially chooses her WrestleMania opponent or continues to play mind games with the champions.
Jordynne Grace vs. Jade Cargill: After their backstage brawl in Riyadh, these two powerhouses are set to collide. This is a massive “dream match”. They might hate each other, but Jordyann gets the pin for the duo.
Trick William just won’t shut up. Sami was talking to Rey Feniux. He didn’t just confront a veteran; he insulted a locker room leader. Telling Sami Zayn he “can’t get the job done” when it matters most is exactly the kind of talk that gets a rookie’s teeth knocked out. Well, Trick ran his mouth enough that he has a match next week against Rey.
Men’s Elimination qualifying match between Randy Orton, Aleister Black, and Solo Sikoa. That could have gone any way, but with Solo waiting with the spike to take Randy out, Randy took out Solo with an RKO.
The Women’s Tag Scene: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (Allies of Convenience) are riding high after their win over Judgment Day. Expect them to stake a claim for the tag titles or the top of the singles division.
Will the Wyatt Sicks finally get their hands on the Bloodline/MFT tag titles after their recent warnings?
The GM’s Headache: Nick Aldis is Reaching His Limit
If you want to know how the show went, just look at Nick Aldis’ face. Between the “Raheem” energy from Cody Rhodes and the “Scottish Bitch” complaining in his ear, the SmackDown GM has officially had it.
After having security escort Cody from the building and dealing with Jacob Fatu’s late-night ambush, Aldis spent the final segments of the night looking like he needed a stiff drink and a long holiday. He’s already issued a final warning to Cody: “Control your emotions or I’ll rethink your spot.”
It’s one thing to manage a locker room; it’s another to manage a war zone. With Elimination Chamber just weeks away, the “Friendly Neighbourhood GM” has officially left the building.
