“The Elimination Chamber is a structure built on the bones of legends. First introduced in November 2002, it has seen the rise and fall of icons like Triple H and Shawn Michaels. To put the longevity of this match into perspective, consider this: Je’Von Evans, the youngest entrant in this year’s Men’s Chamber, was born in 2004. The Chamber itself is literally two years older than the man currently fighting to survive it. We are witnessing a collision between the foundation of the past and the explosive future of the New Era.”

The first show was in 2002. Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden. Je’Von Evans was born in 2004. Making the Chamber 2 years older than the youngest entrant in the Men’s match. The Chamber had crowned 2 champions (Shawn Michaels/Triple H before Evans was born.
The Mystery Crate has been shipped to Chicago. I have no clue who or what is in there.
“This is going to be such an interesting show—not just as a night of action in Chicago, but as a cinematic life reflection on the road to WrestleMania 42. We are literally watching the pillars of the Las Vegas card being built in real-time.”
The Men’s Chamber Field: Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Jey Uso. The winner faces Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania. (Bronson Reed was scheduled to win, but due to a torn Bicep, the audible was called for Jey to win.) I have to go with my Boy Cody. I am reading some rumours that the title defence against Drew at Wrestlemania could be a triple threat between Cody/Jacob Fatu. I can see why they put Je’Von/Trick in the Chamber, but they have no idea what is coming. How cinematic will it be for Cody to get the win, and there is nothing Drew can do?
The Women’s Chamber Field: Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, Raquel. The Winner will face Jade Cargill at WrestleMania. I really want Rhea to win this, but I have a feeling that Raquel will get the push. The underdog Kiana is one to watch. Rhea—who has such a “cinematic” presence— has changed when I first saw her as a young contender in the inaugural Mae Young Classic to the veteran “gatekeeper” she is in this Chamber.
The Men’s Heavyweight title is on the line when CM Punk goes to war with Finn Balor. (I can see Finn getting the win, with the title match at Wrestlemania already set between Roman and CM. They are starting to give Finn the push, but they need to finish the Judgement Day storyline for good first.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship; Becky Lynch is putting it all on the line against AJ Lee. This will be AJ’s first match in 10 years. This could be the match of the night. Becky playing a heel is getting stale in my book. The question is, how long is AJ going to be around? If AJ does not win the belt at Chamber, I look for her to do it at WrestleMania. This match should have a “cinematic” feel to see two eras of the women’s division finally collide in a city like Chicago. I think Becky and AJ have 2 of the best resumes in the business today.
The “fatigue” of the Gunther/Styles era is getting really old, to say the least. Chamber to reset the deck. Dragon Lee attacked Gunther on RAW on Monday for his continued disrespect of AJ. Gunther is finding out that his lack of respect for popular stars is getting old, and it’s time people started holding him responsible for his actions and words.
