Smackdown Preview: Contract Brawls & NXT Shockwaves!

The Road to WrestleMania 42 is heating up in Phoenix, and the Fox Den is ready for the fallout! Here is what I’m watching for this morning:

1. The Master vs. The Student

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton sit down to sign the contract for their WrestleMania main event.

The Drama: Cody just won his title back from Drew McIntyre last week.
My Prediction: Randy hasn’t forgotten that Cody used to be his protégé. Expect an RKO before the ink is even dry. This is going to be interesting to see where this goes. Will this stay polite or go to that dark place?

Jade Cargill faces Michin in a non-title match.

The Stake: Michin is out for revenge after a winter injury, but Rhea Ripley is lurking in the shadows. If she is not in the shadows, she will be watching for sure.
The Hook: Will Rhea interfere to get inside Jade’s head before their Mania clash?

Huge news for the women’s division! Kendrall Grey has officially vacated her Evolve title after a record-setting 147-day reign.

What’s Next: She is now a full-time member of the NXT roster. She has been working with Wren Sinclair.
