RAW heading to Saturday Night

Saturday Night’s Main Event is this coming weekend. The card is getting set for that show.

Cole and Pat are at the announcer’s desk, as always, with Alicia Taylor handling ring announcing duties.

**Money in the Bank is taking place in June.

I am reading that Asuka has been cleared to return, and the creative team is working on her storyline.

Logan Paul is on his way to the ring. He is taking on Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main event for the World Men’s Title. (He is good, but I can’t stand the man. He has no respect for the business or the title.) Logan is so sure that he will be the new champion next Monday. Telling the crowd to shut up when they are screaming Yeet. Here is an interesting twist: Gunther is on his way to the ring. Logan is not happy that Gunther is in the ring. Gunther called Paul a non-wrestler. Gunther spoke his peace and walked away. Jey just shows up in the ring, delivering a super kick. Gunther, standing up the run, just grinning after that super kick.

**MAIN EVENT is Braun Brekker taking on Jey.

Roxanne just signed her contract with RAW. Guilia is now on SmackDown

Penta is in tag action with A.J. Styles, facing Finn Balor/J.D. McDonagh. Needless to say that Carlito has shown up to help. That was brilliant. A.J. saw J.D. ready for a splash and moved so Finn would take the hit. Once again, what was a super match turned trash, thanks to Carlito. (It’s been 3 on 2 tonight with Carlito.) J.D. slipped getting into the ring. Geesh, once again, Chad has interfered in what would have been a great match, giving the win to Finn/J.D. (no sign of Dirty Dom)

In a Money in the Bank qualifying match, Becky Lynch, Natalya, and Roxanne Perez faced off. The match showcased good performances from all three competitors, each having their moments to secure a pin. With assistance from Lyria, Roxy managed to pin Natalya, ultimately winning the match.

Seth is telling Logan Paul that Jey will be leaving the show tonight, hurt. Which means he will be easier to pick off. Also, telling Logan that he will be waiting for him IF he wins the title.

Grayson Waller is facing Sheamus. This should be a banger of a match. Austin Theory just giggled as Waller copped the 10 count from Sheamus.

M.I.T.B. Women’s Qualifying match with Rhea Ripley, Zoey Stark and Kairi Sane in triple threat action. The match was going well until Zoey jumped off the top rope and twisted her knee as she landed wrong. The match was stopped as the doctor was called to the ring. Returning from a short break, it became a singles match between Kairi and Rhea. After a brief battle, Rhea with the win, joining Roxy Perez and Alexa Bliss.

What is Roxanne doing in Judgement Day territory? Finn said that Roxy would give some backup to Liv/Raquel. Roxy came bearing gifts of chicken nuggets and apples. Raquel is not impressed.

Jey is on his way to the ring to face Braun Brekker. Seth has given instructions to Braun to make sure he is injured. The title is not on the line tonight. It’s been all Braun in this match. Jey, finally getting back in the match. It’s a bit of a fight, but Jey would eventually get the win. Braun and Seth with a post-match beatdown, but Sami has shown up to help, with CM Punk also out to stand by Sami. (The 4 will meet on Saturday night in Tag Team action. Logan Paul with a knock-out punch towards Jey to end the show.

SmackDown in North Carolina

Joe and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Mark taking care of the ring announcer’s duties.

Money in the Bank takes place June 7th

Tiffany Stratton facing Nia Jax putting the Smackdown Women’s Title on the line.

Solo Sokia is on his way to the ring with Jacob Fatu and Jeff Cobb. Solo will be in action later against Rey Fenix and Jimmy to earn a spot in the M.I.T.B match. Jacob took the mic from Solo, you can see that Jacob is ticked off at Solo for sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong. L.A. Knight with a hit and run.

Women’s Qualifying match for the Women’s M.I.T.B with Alexa Bliss, Michin and Chelsea Green. this is great, Alexa, Michin working together to keep Chelsea out of the ring. (I am not a fan of Chelsea but I have the respect for her that she is good. I don’t think he will hold a major title. She has proven she can hold a mid card titile) Lexie with a sister abgail on Chelsea for the win.

Axion/Nathan Frazier are on the way to the ring for a tag match against #DIY. This should be interesting. I don’t think DIY know how to deal with the speed of the boys. DIY turned the tables and are now in control. Holy Cow, no clue how Nathan/Axium pulled out the win. It was a great win, don’t blink or you will miss something special. DIY started after the match with a beatdown but it was Motor City Machine Guns out to help. Street Profits have granted Axium/Nathan Frazier a title match.

Aleister Black is in singlesaction, in a rematch against Carmelo Hayes ( Hayes plays the part well, but I can’t stand him). I can’t see Hayes winning this, but stranger things happen. The Miz saved Carmelo, but Black defended himself, and Hayes was in for a post-match beatdown. It was a really good match until the Miz interferedd.

Guilia has been transfered to SmackDown.

Drew in the ring cutting a promo.Damien wants a steel cage match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Nick Aldas has made this match official.

Solo is going to the ring with Jacob/Jeff for the M.I.T.B Men’s qualifying. Jimmy Uso and Rey Fenix are also in the match. Jimmy’s 1st match since his beat down by Guntgher. With a little help and 2 spikes, Solo gets the win. (I was hoping Jimmy or Rey would get the win)

Nick Aldis with an instant match, L.A. Knight facing Jeff Cobb. I don’t hold hope for Knight to win this. I am surprised that Knight is holding his own in this match. Well, told you it was not Knight’s match. Cobb with the win.

**MAIN EVENT — Tiffany Straton defending the SmackDown Women’s Title against Nia Jax. This is going to be interesting to see if Tiff can hold on. You know that Nia is going to push Tiff past her limits. Should have known that Naomi would show up, but Naomi has company in the form of Jade. NIa is hoping to put Tiff through the announcer’s desk. (this will be crap if they put the belt on Nia) I have no clue how Tiff pulled that off, but she did. To quote Wade, that was a banger of a match.

NXT in Orlando

Vic, Booker T and Corey at the Announcer’s Desk with Mike Rome taking care of Ring Announcing duties.

Giulia and Roxanne Perez are still listed with NXT, even though they have made the transition to RAW.

Myles Bourne with No Quarter Catch Crew opening the show. Myles won the 25-man battle Royal last week, earning the right to face Oba Femi at BattleGround.

Later tonight, Myles Bourne will put his #1 contendership on the line against Ethan Page. Please, Ethan can’t win this. I can’t stand the character (so you know he is playing the part well), Myles is holding his own, but I think if he lets Ethan get in his head, it could do him in. YES, Myles holds on, beating Ethan to keep his #1 contendership at Battleground.

Oba Femi is taking on Charlie Dempsey in singles action. Needless to say, it’s another match that Oba owned and won.

Tony D’Angelo is on his way to the ring for a singles match, and he is alone. Facing Wes Lee. Wes has helped at the ringside, but Tony is not having any of it. Even though they have tried to help Wes. Tony is ticked off, Wes ran his mouth that it would be Stacks, the next Don of NXT. Thanks to Stacks on the video screen, it was enough for Tony to lose. Stacks has declared that he will end the D’Angelo family at Battle Ground.

Stephanie Vaquer is on her way to the ring. Steph will face Jordynne Grace at Battle Ground for the NXT Women’s Title. (Her English is getting better.) Why is Fatal Influence out to the ring? Jordynne is out at ringside.

Thea Hail is taking on Tatum Paxley. Thea won by DQ as Tatum was trying to take Thea’s eye out.

Contract signing for the TNA World Title match at Battle Ground between Joe Hendry defending against Trick Williams.

Main Event — Fatal Influence (Fallon/Jacy) facing Jordyann/Stephanie, in tag team action. The ref let things go more than he should of, but it was still a good match. Jordyann took a hit to keep Steph safe. (Jordyann said she would keep Steph safe until Battle Ground because she wants Steph at her best)

Ethan Page went after Ricky Stacks. Ethan is still sore about Ricky becoming North American Champion faster than Ethan did.

RAW in Louisville, Kentucky

Post Backlash, there will be fallout.

We send out condolences to the family of Sabu, who passed away over the weekend.

Cole is at the announcer’s desk on his own as of right now. I will be surprised if Pat comes out. Alicia Taylor, as always, is on ring announcer duties. Pat did arrive just before the Penta match. (According to Pat, he had to be cleared by medical)

CM Punk is in the ring talking about what happened last week. This man is ticked off, which I don’t blame him for. Paul was in his mad walk to the ring, but now Seth is coming out also. (Brekker is there also, the muscle for Seth) Seth is defending Punk (Seth taking the heel/bully part), and Sami and Jey are out to help CM. Seth was trying to take out CM Punk, but he got help from Sami and Jey.

Penta, who lost thanks to the Judgement Day at Backlash, along with help from El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) in singles action. Chad will have Ivy Nile in his corner. Finally, Penta gets a much-needed win over Chad.

One more look at the main event from Backlash.

Saturday Night’s Main Event is May 24th in Tampa. (Seth/Braun will meet CM/Sami.

Tag Team match between American Made and the War Raiders. New Day have joined Cole /Pat at the announcer’s desk. Needless to say, New Day stuck their noses in when they were not needed.

It was Logan Paul who went after Jey. Paul wants the World Title, will stop at nothing to get it, according to him. (Paul has not done anything to earn a title shot, my opinion)

At Saturday Night’s Main Event — The winner of the Paul/Jey Uso match will face Gunther for the title. Screaming that he is the rightful owner of the belt. Basically says that Jey is a joke as a title holder. Jey shut up Gunther for now.

Jackie was interviewing Ludwig when Jey was attacked by Braun.

Finn Balor in singles action against A.J. Styles. 4th time they have faced each other. J.D. and Carlito at the ringside. You know they will get involved. A.J. just got some help in the form of Penta, giving Styles the win.

Becky is in the ring, cutting a promo. Not really sure why she is out. Bragging that she sent Lyria to the hospital. Becky is being a bratty heel.

Qualifying matches begin on SmackDown for Money in the Bank.

**MAIN EVENT — Roxanne/Guilia teaming to face Iyo Sky/Rhea. This is wild, the ladies are bringing it to the ring. Thanks to a mistake by Roxy, taking out Guilia, Rhea pins Guilia for the win. Iyo covered Roxy to make sure she could not interfere. Rhea is still gunning for the world title.

Backlash 2025

I am hoping for a few surprises today, but anything is possible

Michael Cole was joined at the announcer’s desk tonight by Wade Barrett. Alicia Tayler is taking care of ring duties.

**MATCH 1 — Fatal 4-way with Damien Priest, L.A. Knight, Drew McIntyre and defending champion Jacob Fatu. This is a United States Title match. No DQ in this match. Jacob doesn’t have to be pinned to lose the belt. The match can only be won by pinfall or submission. We all knew that Solo would show up at some point. Thanks to the assistance from Solo and Jeff Cobb. Jacob is stunned by the assistance. Wondering if this might be a set-up between Jacob/Solo

**MATCH 2 — Women’s Intercontinental Title is on the line with Lyra Valkyria facing Becky Lynch. Becky has turned heel, wondering if Paul Heyman will walk out with her. It’s been a heck of a match. Lyra has had her moments, but Becky has also. What a match. Lyria has defended the title. Lyria may have a broken nose. This match was roughly 20 minutes, but an amazing 20 minutes. (MATCH OF THE NIGHT)

**MATCH 3 — Penta versus Dirty Dom for the Men’s Intercontinental Title. I would love to see Penta win this, but I have a feeling Dom will have help. Told you Judgement Day would try something. Now, Chad Gable shows up to spoil it all. Saves the belt for Dom once again.

**MATCH 4 — Pat McAfee versus Gunther. I have no clue what’s going to happen. Just hoping that Pat doesn’t get squashed. Pat has apologised because he will be calling the match in favour of Pat; he wants Pat to win to embarrass Gunther. It’s going to be ugly. Pat has kind of been holding his own. Cole is doing all he can to help Pat. Give Pat heaps of love for doing this. Gunther actually shows a little bit of respect.

**MAIN EVENT — Rando Orton facing John Cena with the Undisputed Men’s title on the line. This match has gotten interesting. Everything but the kitchen sink has been used. Finally got another Ref in the ring. Another Ref is knocked out. That is 2 for 2 on the Refs. What a rubbish match. Needless to say that John keeps the title.

**POST SHOW**

Hosted by Jackie Redmond, Big E, and Peter Rosenberg.

*Update on Pat McAfee — Byron had a short chat with Pat, who said he is OK, but you could see that Pat got hit by a Mack Truck.

Jacob Fatu retains the Men’s United States Title. Jacob was not happy with Solo sticking his nose in where it didn’t belong. 21 Days as a champion. Taking things a day at a time in processing what has happened. It was good to see him out of character, polite in answering questions.

Lyria Valkyria retains the Women’s Intercontinental Title.

Triple H in the Media Conference.

17,155 in Attendance

Those involved in the 4-way are all ok. Damien has a loose tooth.

Pat is beaten up but OK.

Randy Orton and John Cena have been connected over the last 25 years.

John Cena just interrupted Triple H during the Presser. John says he needs to be more honest; he is not walking the walk. Just as the first question was asked, R-Truth walked in. OK, well then, John just put R-Truth through the table.

SmackDown in Dayton, Ohio

Wade and Joe are at the announcer’s desk, with Mark taking care of the ring announcer’s duties

Damien Prioest/L.A. Knight in tag team action facing Solo Sokia/Jacob Fatu. This is going to get ugly. I have no clue how they managed to work together, but now it’s a beatdown thanks to Jacob Fatu. Damien/L.A. won the match. Drew out of nowhere with a claymore, taking out Jacob. This match will be nuts tomorrow at Backlash. Drew’s character has lost the plot.

Chelsea Green is in tag action. Piper is her tag partner (Chelsea has signed an extended contract). Zelina Vega (it was a well-kept secret that Zelina would take the title) is tagging with OMG, it’s Alexa Bliss. (Alexa is from Columbus, Ohio) That was ugly but brilliant. Zelina/Alexa with the win.

Charlotte is on her way to the ring. I get the feeling that the creatives are not sure what to do with her right now. The universe was not happy with Charlotte, as she was leaving the ring, Jade Cargill arrived. (That could be a good match between those two.) Jade is in a match with Nia Jax for the #1 contendership to face Tiffy. One Question? Where is Naomi? Bord with this match, it’s all Nia. I told you Naomi would show up. Thanks to Naomi showing up, Nia wins the match, just as Jade had the match in her hand, it fell apart.

The Street Profits are on the way to the ring. Axium/Nathan Frazier is in the ring, having a chat with the boys. Nick Aldis is out; he has given the boys a match against Street Profits. Nathan/Axium wants to earn a title shot, but as Nick said, they are not ready yet. Profits are beaten up from the T.L.C. match after winning the Tag Title. With as beat up as Street Profits are, this has been a great match. Holy Cow, Nathan/Axium with the win. (This is why Axium/Nathan got moved to SmackDown.)

Carmello Hayes is in singles action against Aleister Black. Last week, Miz faced Black and lost. Aleister Black with the win.

Los Garza are facing Rey Fenix/Andrade after Garza attacked Rey in the back. This is an ugly match. Dirty as much as possible. It was an ugly, high-flying win, but Rey/Andrade with the win. Santos is screaming at Garza in the ring.

John Cena is on his way to the ring. Look for Randy Orton to join the chat at some point. The Universe is letting John know they are not happy. Boy, the universe is very vocal today. (just muted John’s voice) I know it’s the character, the heel mode, but for me, it’s not working. ( They say if the character gets under your skin, they are playing it well.) There was a set-up, John thinking he had taken out Randy, but Randy got the last laugh.

#DIY attacked Nathan/Axium.

See you tomorrow for Backlash.

NXT in Orlando

I was away when this episode aired live, but I am playing catch-up today.

Getting ready for BattleGround in Tampa. May 25th

Vic, Booker T, and Corey are at the desk, and Mike Rome is taking care of the Ring Announcer duties.

Hank and Tank are participating in tag team action, and they are joined by Joe Hendry, the TNA World Champion. I love that Joe got Hank and Tank to do the “Joe turn” and smile—it was fantastic! They are up against Dark State, and I have a feeling this match won’t end well. Dark State really needs to lose, and the sooner, the better. While Hank, Tank, and Joe have had their moments to shine, Dark State always manages to shift the momentum in their favour. The numbers game has definitely worked in Dark State’s advantage. Additionally, Trick Williams is present to cause trouble for Joe. Unfortunately, it looks like yet another unpleasant win awaits Dark State.

Kelani Jordan is facing Zaria, who is from my hometown of Adelaide, in singles competition. I agree with Corey—Kelani has moved on from being seen as the “little sister,” and she’s become tougher, no longer putting up with anyone’s antics. I have to give credit to Kelani; she’s really holding her own in this match. Zaria just sent Kelani crashing through the barricade! This is a fantastic match; the ladies have been given enough time to tell a great story.

**Crown Jewel is in Perth, Western Australia, in October. Been reading that part of the decision is that the 39th Royal Rumble will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be the first time that the event has been held outside the country.

25-man Battle Royal for the #1 contender to face Oba Femi at Battle Ground. Elijah, who is now in TNA, is competing. There have been a few eliminations, but there are still a lot of bodies left in the ring. Briggs’s out thanks in part to his tag team partner. Elijah took out Trick with a little help from Joe Hendry. The NXT guys have brought it in spades to this match. Kudos to Ja’von Evans; he held his own. Myles Bourne has shocked the NXT locker room by winning the Battle Royal.

Jiada Parker facing Karmen Petrovic.

Joe Hendry will put the TNA World Title on the line at Battleground against Trick Williams

*MAIN EVENT — Giulia is facing Jordynne Grace for the #1 contender spot to challenge Stephanie for the Women’s NXT Title at Battleground. This match has been intense and hard-fought, with both competitors showcasing their skills. Neither wrestler has made a significant mistake that could be capitalised on by the other. It’s impressive how Giulia is still in the game after enduring so much punishment. Both women are screaming in frustration as they push themselves to the limit. It was an incredible battle, with the ladies giving their all and leaving everything in the ring.

Jordynne Grace is facing Stephanie at BattleGround.

RAW in Omha

Cole and Pat are taking care of the announcer’s desk.

Alicia Taylor is taking care of the ring announcer duties.

Giovanni Vinci has been released by WWE. Shinsuke Nakamura has also left the WWE.

Jey Uso opened the show, and Gunther made his appearance. Pat has accepted Scott Steiner’s offer to train him and be in his corner at Backlash. Jey called out Logan Paul, but Paul Heyman walked out instead. Heyman began cutting a promo to clarify the situation with the Bloodline. He seemed to be getting worked up, and if he didn’t calm down, he might blow a vein in his neck. While venting about the Bloodline, Heyman expressed his frustrations and even apologised to Jey, stating that it wasn’t about him. However, he hinted at a potential feud with Jey, suggesting that Seth needs to be the champion, not Jey.

Heyman then told Jey to choose the day and time when he would lose the World title to Seth, to which Jey responded that it would be tonight. Adam just needs to make it official. At the beginning of the Penta/J.D. match, Adam Pearce made the title match official.

Penta (87 kilos) is on his way to the ring, facing J.D. McDonagh, waiting to see if Carlito, Finn stay at the ringside. (They are at the ringside) Finn/Carlito both just got tossed. Chad Gable showed up to cause issues. Penta finally gets the win after having to battle 4 on 1 at one time.

Austin Theory is in singles action with Greyson Waller at the ringside. Oh no, his opponent is Sheamus. Waller is not looking after Austin as he should be, being tag partners. That was an ugly win for Sheamus, wondering if Austin got knocked out.

**AT BACKLASH — Dom will defend the Intercontinental Title at Backlash against Penta.

Becky Lynch is on the way to the ring. After trash-talking Lyria, who comes out to defend herself. After a war of words and some fist flying, Lyria leaves Becky lying in the middle of the ring.

Iyo Sky is in singles action against Roxanne Perez. Roxy on the mic. She is getting booed by the Universe. (Rhea is here in Australia doing promotions for Crown Jewel Perth. ) Iyo took some serious punishment but finally got the win, in the end. That was unexpected with Roxy showing some respect, turned out to be a set up.

Otis is facing Rusev in singles action. I don’t hold much hope for Otis, but stranger things have happened. First time in 5 years Rusev has been in singles action. Rusev with the win, but he has gone nuts, beating up Otis/Tazawa. Natalya is out helping Maxine. Adam Pearce is pissed, needless to say.

Adam Pearce has asked Pat to join him in the ring. Gunther is also in the house. Adam told them that they can say what they want, but there will be no fist thrown tonight. Adam has not left the ring. (I also read a rumour that Goldberg could show up, costing Gunther the match, setting up a match as Summer Slam possible) Gunther screamed at Pat, slapped him and walked off.

Main Event is Jey Uso, putting the title on the line against Seth Rollins, with Paul and Braun in Seth’s corner. Jey is refusing to take any crap from Seth, with Seth not liking it. Jey lost his shoe in that dive through the ropes, sending Seth over the announcer’s table. I don’t think Seth thought this would be this hard. Seth tried for a stomp but managed to get out of the way. Seth thought this would be a walk in the park, but it hasn’t been. Both guys are leaving it all in the ring. Seth didn’t get all the stomp connected like he usually does. Sami’s music just started, and Braun was ambushed by Sami. Holy Cow, after a spear by Braun on Jey, here comes CM Punk with a chair. Seth, Braun and Paul are running like scared little brats.

Things just got interesting.

WWE News Outside the Ring.

Corey Graves and Carmella have announced that they are expecting their second baby.

News has broken that the following wrestlers from SmackDown, RAW, and NXT have been released by WWE

Meiko Satomura has officially retired.

NXT Home in Orlando

I am reading that Giulia and Roxanne are now on RAW.

Rey Mysterio is undergoing surgery for the injury he sustained before WrestleMania and will be out for some time.

Booker T, Vic and Corey at the Announcer’s Desk, Mike Rome taking care of the ring announcing duties.

Joe Hendry showed up at NXT, and Trick Williams had gone to NXT, upset that Joe got a match at WrestleMania, that he couldn’t win the NXT title back from Oba. Dark State has shown up, taking out Joe.

Lexis King is in the ring to take on the current Men’s North American title against Ricky Saints. This is a title match. Lexis attacked Ricky before he even got his ring vest off. Lexis was on top most of the match, but Ricky found the opening he needed from a mistake that Lexis made, getting the win.

Tony D’Angelo is on his way to the ring. Talking about what happened with Stacks at Stand and Deliver. (This character has grown on me; he could play the Italian boss in any Television show.) Stacks tells Tony he doesn’t have the guts to lead the family. Telling Tony that he doesn’t know whom he can trust.

Sol Rucia is on the way to the ring for a match with Karmen Petrovic. Zaria is in Sol’s corner. (Story twist IMO — Zaria turns on Sol to go after the North American Title) So far, a good quality match. Sol with the win. Karmen gives Ashante the heave-ho with a kick to the head.

Trick Williams showed up at the TNA event, taking out Joe Hendry. Now the trash-talking starts. 25-Man Battle Royal next week to earn the right to face Oba Femi at Battle Ground for the NXT Men’s Title.

The Men’s Tag Team titles are on the line with Hank and Tank defending them against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. (Titles changed hands at Stand and Deliver because Axium/Nathan Frazier got the call-up to SmackDown) Each team has had their moments, but it’s not been lop-sided so far. After being rammed into he step, Hank found the strength to get into the ring to save the match. One mistake between Briggs/Yoshiki was all Hank/Tank needed to get the win.

Chase U has returned.

Kelani wants a title match, but she needs to go through Zaria to get it.

Main Event — Roxanne Perez/Guilia facing Iyo Sky, who is teaming with Jordynne Grace. This has been a massive match, the Ref has lost control at times, but the quality has been there as it has been given the time it needs. They are leaving it all in the ring. Roxy tried everything, even blocking Poprox with Iyo showing why she is Women’s champion. Roxy throwing a temper tantrum outside the ring.

Jordyanne Grace will meet Guilia for the right to face Stephanie at Battle Ground.
