SmackDown in Pennsylvania

Final show before Saturday Night’s Main Event. No clue what to expect tonight.

Corey and Cole are at the desk with Mark Nash, looking after announcing duties.

Cody Rhodes is on his way to the ring, and he is not happy. Drew has filed for an unsafe work area. (WHAT, Drew went on Cody’s bus and took him out) I know it’s storyline related, but still. Just as Cole said, Cody needs to get his head in the game with facing Oba Femi at Saturday Night’s Main Event tomorrow. Cody was in mid-sentence when Oba Femi’s music started.

Tommaso Ciampa in singles action, facing Illja Dragunov for the United States Title. It’s all Ciampa working on that surgically repaired knee. Both men have a high pain tolerance, and this has been an amazing match. Illja may have a broken nose. Johnny Gargano and Candice tried to help Tommaso steal the win, but Ilja got the win. Carmelo Hayes is out to even the odds at 2 on 2.

The Wyatt Sick in the ring with Uncle Howdy. Talking to Solo Sokia and MFT

Alexa Bliss in singles action with Charlotte in her corner, facing Lash Legend with Nia Jax in her corner. Alexa never had a chance.

**MAIN EVENT — Aleister Black is facing Damien Priest/Rhea Ripley in mixed tag action. (I have read a rumour that Rhea will be moved to Smackdown for a story with Jade Cargill) That was a rough one, a little messy, but in the end, Rhea/Damien got the job done.

January 2, SmackDown returns to a 3-hour show.

The Miz is on his way to the ring, facing Ja’von Evans in singles action. Holy Cow, what a great match and a fantastic win by Evans.

Jade Cargill is facing Michin in singles. The official match never took place.

Fallout from Deadline

Vic and Booker T are once again at the announcer’s desk with Mike Rome taking care of the Ring Announcing duties.

The show has opened with a recap of the events from Deadline.

Oba Femi is on his way to the ring. Oba will have a match against Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Oba has been working while he has been away. You can see he has lost weight and added muscle. Ricky Saints is out with Oba. Ricky is out wanting his rematch. Ja’von Evans just joined the chat. Ja’von didn’t want to wait til New Year’s Evil; their title match is tonight.

** Kelani Jordan is facing Jordynne Grace in singles action. They have been going hell for leather before the bell rang. Kelani tried a chair, but it didn’t work. You can see that Kelani is now a heel. She put Jordynne through the right-side barrier, then dragged her into the ring for the win.

Blake Monroe (you would have thought they might have repackaged her from AEW) is in the ring for her version of the John Cena open challenge. Thea made Blake tap, but there was no official bell to ring.

Oh, geesh, Ethan Page is in the ring. Once again, Ethan is running his mouth about everything and how good he is, but Tony D’Angelo once again has made his presence known.

Sol Ruca in singles action against Wren Sinclare. Wren held her own; the flow was not there as it could be. You can see that she has not had a lot of ring time.

Myles Bourne/Leon Slater/Dion Lennox/Joe Hendry — will go at it in a fatal 4-way, for the right to face Oba Femi at New Year’s Evil.

Fatal Influence on the scene. Wren and Kendal are out cutting a promo for New Year’s Evil. Jacey with her usual trash talking. Typical Fatal Influence, trash talk and then beat up everyone.

Oba Femi defends the Men’s NXT Title against Ja’Von Evans. Mike just did the introductions. Oba outweights Ja’von by 130 pounds. I can’t see Ja’von winning with Oba with the strength/Ja’Von with the speed. This match was hard to watch, with Oba’s strength, Evans was not able to get anything going. Oba retains the title and will defend it at New Year’s Evil

RAW in Kansas City

Getting ready for John Cena’s final match. Gunther has won the tournament and will face John on Saturday Night.

Joe/Wade are once again at the announcers’ desk with Alicia Taylor looking after the Ring announcing duties.

Gunther is on his way to the ring. He is cutting a promo for Saturday Night. They need to back him up from the camera; if you’re just waiting up, that would scare anyone. Gunther’s usual promo cut for a big match: I will break you. All Gunther wants is to make John tap out.

**MATCH 2** Rey Mystero is facing Finn Balor. This match never got started as Logan Paul attacked Rey just as he was getting to the ring. Well, the masked man has returned once again. Taking Rey out. L.A. Knight is out in the ring. (know it’s storyline, but that is getting so old with Paul and the brass knuckles.) Knight wants a match, and he wants it tonight. Knight helped Ray to the back.

**MATCH 5** LA Knight is facing Logan Paul in singles action. Once again, The Vision, with help from the guy in all black, has taken out LA Knight. After what I saw will be interesting to see if Knight is on the shelf for a bit, thanks to what happened.

**MATCH 4** Lyra in singles action against Roxy. Liv says she will be in Roxy’s corner. (I can see Judgement Day starting to fall apart) Sol Ruca at ringside, who will face Bayley on Saturday. With help from Liv, Roxy with the win.

**MATCH 3** AJ Styles/ Dragon Lee are in action defending the RAW Men’s Tag Titles. Their opponents tonight are the War Raiders. (The New Day at ringside, Greyson Waller) It was a good match, got a little rough in places on both sides, but you expect that in tag action. Styles/Lee with the win. The New Day had made their way to the ring, but here came The Usos. (Jimmy/Jey showing up may have saved a post-match beatdown) I see a Tag Team title match coming for the Usos in the future. Jimmy just told the Universe that they are back in the tag division. The Usos are their most dangerous when they are together.

**MATCH 1** Iyo Sky, with Rhea (no mask) in her corner, is facing Kairi Sane/Asuka in her corner in singles action. It started out all Kairi, but you knew that at some point, Asuka would get involved. Once Rhea got Asuka out of the picture, it was Iyo all the way. The girls both had their moments in the match, when it would have gone either way. Waiting to see if this win will get Rhea/Iyo a Tag Title shot.

Jacki Redmond is chatting with Stephanie Vaquar in the ring. (Steph’s English has gotten heaps better) Nikki Bella is on the scene; she has gone heel. Raquel just took out Nikki. Raquel wants a title match.

NXT Deadline

Vic, Booker T., once again at the announcer’s desk, with Mike Rome taking care of Ring Announcing duties.

The NXT Men’s Title match is opening the show tonight. (First time this has ever happened, usually this match closes the show.) The winner of this match will face Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. It started out being Oba, with all the energy wearing Ricky down. Ricky has had some moments to shine, but Oba seems to find a way to shut him down. It looks like Oba has a little ring rust, but he is holding his own. Ricky made him work for it, but Oba has won back the NXT Men’s Title. Oba Femi will face Cody Rhodes next week at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ricky Saints, before leaving the ring, offered a hand out of respect, which Oba accepted.

***New Year’s Evil is Tuesday, January 6th.

Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge starting with Kelani/Kendal. You earn points by getting pins. The wrestler with the most points when 25 minutes are over is the winner. This match will turn into a triple threat with the arrival of the next wrestler. 4:56 Kenal just pinned Kelani(who is in the penalty box for 90 seconds. Jordyann is the new wrestler. Kelani with a point also. Lola is on her way. Lola with a pin in less than 30 seconds. Kedal just pinned Jordyann for a second point. Sol Ruca is the final wrestler to enter the match. Jordyann just pinned Kelani. Sol never made it in the ring as Kelani just took her out. Sol was being helped by Medical back to the room. Kelani is pleased with herself. Sol just snatched Kelani/Lola, both heading to the penalty box. Jordan with a pin. 4 minutes, Kelani/Ruca/Kendal all with 2 points. Tied up across the board. OMG, with 3 seconds left, Kendal Grey with the pin to win 3 pins. I was hoping for Sol to get the win. In a match like this, you blink, you miss.

Kendal Grey will face Jacy Jade for the NXT Women’s Title at New Year’s Evil.

The Men’s North American Title is on the line as Mr. Iguana faces the current title holder, Ethan Page. No Title Change.

Izzi Dame from The Culling, facing Tatum Paxley. I have a feeling this will be all Izzi, but don’t count Tatum out. The boys(Niko Vance/Seam Spears) from The Culling tried to help Izzi get the edge, but it didn’t work. It’s been all Izzi. Izzi slapped Tatum and released the beast. It was OK, but you could see what was going to happen.

Time for the Men’s Iron Survivor Match — Leon Slater and J’avon Evans will start the match. Evans with the first pin, Myles Bourne on his way. Dion Lennox told the rest of Dark State that he would do it on his own. Ja’von Evans with the only point. Lennox with a point, pinning Evans. Here comes Joe Hendry (my favourite), Hendry with a pin, tied with Evans and Lennox. Slater with a point; Bourne is the only one without a point. Bourne just pinned Lennox, making it tied across the board. It’s a 5-way tie. Lennox just locked the official and Ja’Von in the penalty box. OMG, that was insane. Just with a few seconds left, Ja’von Evans somehow manages to get the win.

Ja’Von Evans will face Oba Femi at New Year’s Evil for the Men’s NXT Title. Here comes Oba to the ring.

Tony D’Angelo has returned to NXT. He has had a repackage. Tuesday will be interesting.

SmackDown : Fall out from War Games

It came down to Gunther versus L.A. Knight in the final of The Last Time is Now Tournament. It was a good match, but I think we all knew that it would be Gunther winning the final match for the right to face John Cena. With the Intercontinental Title back on Dom. I thought they might have left it on John, moving it to Gunther on the night.

Paul Heyman/Brock Lesnar were spotted backstage with the masked man from War Games.

Drew McIntyre showed up backstage. Nick had a fit. What no one planned on was Drew getting jumped by Cody. Remember, it was Drew who jumped Cody before War Games. Cody called Drew a cockroach. (Unwritten rule, you dont cross. You do not go on the travel buses of those, especially those who travel with family.

Illja Dragunov is defending the United States Title against Carmelo Hayes, but Tomasso Ciampa had to once again get involved. Charles Robinson was tending to Illja when Tomasson took out Hayes enough to give Illja the win.

Alexa Bliss faced Kairi Sane in singles action. It was a good match, but Lash/Nia showed up, attacking Charlotte/Alexa.

Solo Sokia/MFT cutting a promo. They are going after the SmackDown Tag Titles. The Wyatt sick showed up, and it all fell apart. It was on in the ring, leaving Eric and Toma Tonga in the ring, with Eric the last man standing.

Bayley will be facing Sol Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Jade Cargill in a non-title match against Alba Fire.

Whoever wins the Men’s NXT Title at Deadline will face Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

I had read that Rhea would be moving to SmackDown for a possible set up with Jade Cardgill, but next week she is joining Damien Priest in a tag match against Aleister Black/Zelina Vega. The Terror Twins have reunited.

NXT Show Notes from Orlando

Vic and Corey are once again at the announcer’s desk with Mike Rome taking care of ring announcing duties.

NXT final PLE is this weekend at Deadline in San Antonio.

Women’s Iron Survivor Summit. Ava is managing the discussion. Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Kendal Grey, Jordyann Grey, Kelani Jordan. Boy, the Universe is giving it hard to Kelani. Of course, Jacey is out with Fatal Influence, running her mouth, trashing everyone. It’s just falling apart.

Joe Hendry is officially a member of NXT

Thea Hail, with Joe Hendry in her corner, is facing Ariana Grace with Stacks in her corner. In singles action

Jason Biggs is facing Tavion Heights. It won’t be pretty. The match has not officially started, and they are going at it. Finally, a bell. I told you this would get nasty. Tavion just put Josh through the barricades. I can’t see this being over anytime soon. Briggs with the win.

The Culling is on the way to the ring. It will be interesting to see what Izzi has to say after setting up Tatum, making sure she loses the Women’s Title. Izzi is playing the heel very well. Izzi is trying to speak, but there are “We Want Tatum” chants in the background. Izzi just announced that she will face Tatum at Deadline. She will stop at nothing to end her.

Kendal Grey, Sol Ruca, and Lola Vice in tag action against Fatal Influence. They have done well, keeping Kendal cut off from her corner. It’s been all Fatal Influence to this point. It fell apart as per usual, but with Sol hitting a Sol Snatcher out of thin air, they got the win. (I can see a feud between Sol/Zaria.

OTM in the ring for tag action, facing off against Chase University. I can’t see Chase U winning this, but stranger things have happened.

Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, Ja’von Evans, and Myles Bourne are facing Dark State in an 8-man tag match. This can go either way. At some point, this match will fall apart, which usually happens with Dark State. Typical Dark State trick, take care of those who are in the tag match opposite, so they can’t make a tag. The winner of the match gets to choose their entry spot in the Iron Man Survivor match. The Baby Faces win, with Myles getting the pin and the right to pick his entry spot.

Contract Signing between Oba Femi and Ricky Stacks for Deadline this week. Ava just informed the guys that for the first time in the history of Deadline, the Men’s title match will OPEN the PLE

RAW : Fallout from War Games

It’s going to be an interesting night to see what the fallout will be.

Naomi/Jimmy have shared news that they are having a boy.

I have read what I will call a rumour that Rhea will move to SmackDown at some point. They want to set her up in a storyline with Jade Cargill

One of John Cena’s final requests for his final night is for the young kids (NXT) to have a chance on the big stage.

Recap of War Games

Joe and Wade are back at the Announcers’ Desk with Alicia Taylor looking after Ring Announcing Duties.

Iyo Sky/Rhea are on the way to the ring. I really want to see these two team up and go after the Women’s Tag Titles. Charlotte/Alexa is on the way to the ring. Charlotte/Lexi are still owed a rematch. Looks like we got a Main Event tonight. The match ended in a draw thanks to Kaboki Warriors disrupting the match. Also, Raquel/Roxy showed up along with Bayley/Lyra.

Adam is having to deal with Paul Heyman because it was Braun Brekker who pinned CM Punk at War Games. Braun cut one hell of a promo, going after Punk. On December 5th, Braun will get a match. Tonight, Punk was not cleared to be at the show.

Ivy Nile has demanded a title match with Maxxine, who holds the Women’s Intercontinental title. They showed Maxxine training, it was not til the end that there was a shot of who was training Maxi, it was Natalya.

Last Time Tournament continues with Jey Uso in singles action with L.A. Knight. Just as Jey was about to pin Knight, L.A. rolled up Jey for the win. Knight faces the winner of Solo/Gunther. Jey has snapped, frustrated, which I don’t blame him at all. I can see him turning heel again, teaming up with Roman.

Oh no, here comes Judgement Day. Not sure what this is all about. Liv is not out with them. I want to see Liv/Roxy go at it with the loser being out of Judgement Day. Here comes Liv. Here is Liv running her mouth that Judgement Day runs on Monday Night.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are on their way to the ring. Titles are on the line against The New Day. After all the back and forth, New Day is trying every trick in the book, but Styles/Lee successfully defend the titles.

Liv had a face-to-face with Stephanie Vaquer, basically telling her that she is coming for her title. I can’t see them taking the belt off Steph. I can see some good opponents, but no real reason to take the belt. If Creative is not careful, they are going to fall back into the (bully) storyline once again. It’s time for Finn to return to singles action.

The other semi-final match in the Last time is now Tournament between Solo Sokia/Gunther. Of course, Solo was not alone during this match. Solo keeps trying to spike Gunther, but Gunther has done his homework to make sure he doesn’t get caught. It was a mule kick, along with a second low blow out of sight of the ref, to get the win.

Gunther will face L.A. Knight for the right to face John Cena in his final match on Saturday Night’s Main Event

Survivor Series:War Games 2026

Cole and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Alicia Taylor, once again taking care of the announcing duties.

The Women’s War Games are opening the show. Charlotte is out first, opening the match. Charlotte’s gear is designed by Scarlett, who is fighting cancer. Charlotte is starting the match because of her win in the advantage match against Asuka. There are no holding cages this year; everyone is backstage until their number is called. It’s a 5-minute match between Charlotte/Asuka; once a team member arrives, it’s every 3 minutes until both teams are in the cage. Iyo Sky has joined Charlotte in the cage. Becky Lynch is on her way to the ring. (I thought she would be last) Alexa Bliss is on her way. Kairi Sane to even things up. Here comes A.J., she is ticked off. Becky tried to keep AJ out, but she had to climb the cage to get in. Nia Jax is on her way.

Here comes Rhea. Rhea has trash cans and an Art the Clown-like trash bag. Rhea still needs the protective gear due to her broken nose. Lash Legend is the final entrant, officially now on SmackDown. With Lash in the cage, the match is now on. Charlotte just saved Rhea from getting misted, who would up hitting Lash instead. Iyo did not let the Universe down with the trash can dive. AJ tried to get the trash can to Iyo, being a little short, Rhea put AJ on her shoulders to get the can to Iyo. In the end, it was AJ who made Becky tap out.

Match 2 is John Cena taking on Dirty Dom, with John defending the Intercontinental Title in this rematch. I can’t see Dom winning, with Creative wanting John to carry the title to his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. I think it will be Gunther who will face John, putting the title back on Gunther. Roxy/Raquel at ringside. John’s final PLE (If I understood right, Stu the cameraman, is working with his son tonight). Dom is trying everything he can to beat John. Dom faked an injury to give Raquel/Roxy a chance to take out John. They eventually got tossed by the Ref. Liv Morgan has made a surprise return. (What does this mean for Roxy?) It’s the numbers game as JD and Finn have arrived with the Ref down. Thanks to help from Liv, Dom has the belt back.

Stephanie Vaquar, who currently holds the Women’s World Title, is defending it against Nikki Bella. I hope this is a good match, but I can’t see it changing hands. Steph hit Nikki with the Devil’s Kiss on the announce table.

December 13th will be John’s final match in WWE.

46,016 in attendance for the PLE

Main Event Time with the Men’s War Games Match. The heels won the advantage match. CM Punk is opening the match for the BabyFaces. Braun Brekker is out for The Vision. Drew McIntyre is on his way for The Vision, 2 on 1 for the next 3 minutes. Punk is getting help in the form of Cody Rhodes. Drew refused to let Cody in, but he climbed the cage anyway. Punk has been busted open. The Vision is getting help in the form of Logan Paul. Babyface is on the way in the form of Jimmy Uso. The Vision sends out, Bronson Reed. Here comes Jey Uso. Here comes Brock. (You can see even now that The Vision will take this out) Roman is on his way. Once he enters the cage, it’s War Games. This just turned into a joke. Brock left the cage to go after Roman, just putting him through an announce table. (This is sad, could have been such a good match, but to be honest, I am bored with this.) Some guy dressed in all black has just climbed into he cage. Taken out Punk and disappeared. (Rumour is that it is NOT Seth Rollins (he would not be medically cleared) but will turn out to be Austin Theory)

I’m actually disappointed by the ending. The Women’s War Games match was way better

See you for RAW

Final SmackDown before War Games

Congratulations to Trick Williams and Lash Legend, who recently got engaged.

Cole, Corey and Nick are taking care of regular duties.

Penta was injured on Monday Night RAW. Reports today is that it was a dislocated Shoulder, no clue how long he will be away.

Charlotte faces Asuka for the advantage in the Women’s War Game match. I have a feeling this will not go according to plan. Asuka tried to hit Charlotte with the mist, but got the timekeeper instead. In the end, Charlotte wins.

Jey Uso is taking on Rusev to advance to the semi-final in the John Cena tourney match. OK, I did not see that one coming. Jey gets the win.

Chelsea Green and Alba Fire are on their way to the ring to celebrate the Women’s United States Title. I have read that Guilia is scheduled to get a big push, which is why they took the title off her. Also, read that Guilia was not going over well with the fans. I hope they don’t have Kiana James with her; for me, it’s not working. Jade Cargill just came to the ring and laid out Alba/Chelsea. Piper Niven is out with a neck injury. It is being described as a potentially career-threatening injury. Piper is out until further notice.

L.A. Knight is facing The Miz for the right to move on in the John Cena Last Time Tourney. Argue with the ref, and you get pinned, which is what just happened to Miz. Knight moves on. Knight will face Solo Sokia.

Ilja was having a chat with Cathy when Tomasso interrupted. Tomasso is still waiting for his shot at the title.

It’s the traditional 5 on 5 Survivor match between Solo Sokia/MFT facing Sami Zayn/Motor City Machine Guns/Rey Fenix/Shinsuke Nakamura.

JC Mato eliminated by M.C.M.G. 2)Shinsuke eliminated. 3)Tonga Loa eliminated by Rey. 4)Alex Kelly eliminated,5) Chris Sabin eliminated, 6) Rey Fenix eliminated. Sami is on his own. 7)Toma Tonga has been eliminated. 8)Toma Tonga is counted out. Sami/ Solo are the only 2 left. Solo is the last survivor. Sami was hit with a Sokia spike.

Fireflies are out. The Wyatt Sick has returned. Uncle Howdy has appeared behind Solo, who took him out with a Sister Abigail.

NXT Gold Rush Week 2

Tonight’s show is opening with a recap of last week’s show.

Vic, Booker T and Mike are taking care of their duties. Peter Rosenburg has joined the boys at the announcer’s desk.

Deadline PLE is December 6 in San Antonio

The Evolve title is on the line with Sean Legacy facing Jackson Drake from Swipe Right. It was a good match to open the show with. Jackson Drake holds onto the title.

It’s the Women’s Speed Title championship with Zaria facing off against Fallon Henley from Fatal Influence. I can’t see Fallon out there alone. Fatal Influence has the numbers. Zaria arrived alone. It’s a 5-minute time limit. I told you they would help Fallon. Time expired, and Ava walked out, sudden death, 1st pin takes the title. Crap, thanks to help from Laney Reed, Fallon wins the title.

John Cena is selecting those taking part in the Iron Man Survivor Challenge. Ja’von Evans, Leo Slater, Joe Hendry, Deon Lennox. Tonight’s main event winner will earn the final spot on the men’s side of the challenge.

Jordyanne Grace, Kelani Jordan, and Lei Ying Lee in a triple threat match for the TNA Women’s Knockout Title. That was a full-on match with Lei Ying Lee winning the title, taking it back to TNA. (She was Xia Lee in WWE)

As Laney was getting ready for her match, Ava walked in to tell Jacey/Fallon they are banned from the ring. Thanks to Jacey/Fallon for getting help in winning their titles.

Laney Reed is facing Kendal Grey for the Women’s Evolve Title. Fatal Influence tried to get involved, but the ref got rid of all of them. Kendal wins.

John Cena announces the Women who will take part in the Women’s Iron Survivor match — Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordon, Jordyanne Grace, Kendel Grey.

Main Event time with Myles Bourne facing Trick William for the right to enter the Men’s Iron Survivor match. Holy Cow, Myles Bourne pulled out this win for the right to enter the Iron Survivor Match. (IMO – Trick is getting old, they need to do something new with him.)

Here comes Dark State, going after Myles. Joe, Leon, and Ja’von joined Myles in the ring.
