Crown Jewel in Perth

Congratulations to Corey and Carmella on the birth of their second son.

It’s going to be another electric night.

Hype video being narrated by Rhea. “We will show the world what Australia sounds like” “Can you hear it?”

13,683 in attendance.

Cole, along with Wade Barrett, are at the announcer’s desk, Alicia Taylor working the Ring Announcing tonight.

The show will open with Bronson Reed from Adelaide facing Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman is accompanying Bronson. Cole mentioned that this match will be very physical tonight, and I completely agree. The crowd is thunderous. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Roman is wearing 2 Ula Fala, honouring his family. While I would love to see Roman win, being in Australia makes me think Bronson might take the victory.

Things took a turn when Braun Breakker just speared Roman. Wade and Cole just lost their desk in the chaos. The situation has shifted as Jimmy and Jey have just arrived. Roman has not moved at this point, which is concerning. Unfortunately, Jey just put Roman through the table. As a result of the miscommunication, Bronson has won the match.
(Roman just told the twins off)

The highly anticipated first battle for the Crown Jewel belt is upon us, pitting the fierce Stephanie Vaquer against the dynamic Tiffany Stratton. This match promises to be thrilling, as long as they are given the time to showcase their skills. It’s a challenging contest to predict. In an impressive display of technique, Stephanie just executed a stunning dragon screw on Tiffany, sending shockwaves through the arena. The atmosphere is electric as both competitors give it their all. However, Tiffany might find herself in a precarious position after taking a hard blow to the back of her head, prompting the need for a quick resolution. In the end, Stephanie emerges victorious, marking a remarkable chapter in her career with just 21 days as the reigning World champion.

Paul Heyman just told Bronson and Bruan not to go to the ring during Seth’s match.

For the final time, John Cena will face A.J. Styles. The boys met for their first match in 2018. It is so loud. John only has 5 dates left. A.J. had been introduced, but John handed Alicia an introduction to read to honour A.J. This should be a good match. John just used a skull-crushing finally. It’s good to see them letting John and A.J. have the time this match deserves. John just paid tribute to Bray Wyatt using Sister Abigail. The fireflies were out. John just hit an RKO. Just WOW. (Styles has announced that he will retire in 2026) This is the match of the night so far. Just WOW, what an amazing match. I can’t even tell you how many finishing moves they both used. John and A.J. will both feel the impact of this one.

Rhea Ripley/Iyo Sky in tag team action against Kaboki Warriors. Iyo has dyed her bangs cole black. Askua is doing a number on Iyo. The Warriors have done a good job cutting off the ring. This match was insane. I was beginning to wonder if Jess would lose control of the match. It was nice that there was no mist tonight for a change. Kairi shoved Asuka out of the way, which eliminated her from the match. My girl Rhea, from my hometown of Adelaide, gets the wins.

Cody/Seth is the final match of the night for the Men’s Crown Jewel title. Paul telling Braun/Bronson not to help Seth during the match got me asking a question: if maybe Brock Lesnar is lurking. Is Paul going to screw Seth? Seth is on his way to the ring first. The universe is still singing Seth’s song, but Cody will get the bigger pop. Cody has a short coat on tonight, usually the full-length coat. Alicia was waiting in the ring to make the formal introductions. Seth went after Cole, but Cody was having none of it. Seth won’t be happy until he can put Cody on the shelf. (Seth has 2 yellow polka dots on his pants, just like Dusty used to wear. Even after the stomp, Cody still kicked out. This has been quite the battle. They are beating each other senseless. Seth landed wrong on the coast-to-coast; his left shoulder/arm is hurting. Seth used the watch; he managed to get to his corner(Cody gifted Seth the watch). Seth still had to cheat to win. It was a good match in my book, but not as good as the Cena/Styles match.

SmackDown in Perth, Australia

Welcome to Smackdown in Perth

Tonight, we join Cole, along with Wade Barrett, Alicia Taylor, looking after the Ring Announcing duties

Cody is on his way to the ring. The Crown Jewel belt is in the ring. The Universe is very loud tonight. Cody is wearing his Crown Jewel ring that he won last year. The Crowd is letting Cody know how they feel about him. (using Aussie slang) (apparently Seth Rollins walked off the stage during the Crown Jewel preshow)

Damien Priest is facing Aleister Balck in a last man standing match. Only way to win is to make sure your opponent can not answer the 10 count. This match can go anywhere and you can use anything. WOW, Cole and Wade barely got out of the way before Aleister came flying at them. I am not sure how Damien is still walking after all of this. Zelina Vega out was trying to get Damien to stop. With help from Zelina, Aleister Black with the win.

Street Profits (have gone back to the red cup/ we want the smoke) are facing Wyatt Sick (Uncle Howdy didnt make the trip) Nikki Cross carried the lantern) for the Tag Team Titles. It was a good match but no title change. MFT at ringside once again, to cause issues.

Sami Zayn is on his way to the ring for a United States Open match. First time the belt is defended in Australia. Shinsuke Nakamura is on his way to the ring. (gone through a repackage, returned to his original entrance) It’s been close many times, but Sami is holding his own so far. Shin just got attacked by Solo’s henchmen (MFT). Tama Tonga has returned.

Stephanie Vaquer/Tiffany Stratton are joining forces for a tag team match facing Giulia/Kiara James. That did not take long for Steph to pull out “Devil’s Kiss” Steph and Tiff actually worked well together. Things looked rough in a few places, but it was a good match. Their singles match tomorrow will be interesting.

I love it, great to see Charlotte with a sense of humour. They had a chat with Zaria(from Adelaide)/SolRuca about a tag team match.

NXT Showdown

It’s the invasion of TNA on the turf of NXT

Vic and Booker T are at the announcer’s desk with the handsome Mike Rome taking care of the ring announcing duties.

It’s going to be an interesting show; I have no clue what is going to happen.

The show kicked off with a high-energy tag team match as The Hardy Boys put their TNA Tag Team Championships on the line against the formidable duo known as Dark Street, the reigning NXT Tag Team title holders. The atmosphere was electric, and the tension was palpable as both teams showcased their incredible athleticism and teamwork. High-flying maneuvers and hard-hitting techniques kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Just when it seemed like Dark Street might seize the victory, The Hardy Boys rallied with their signature resilience and creativity. In a stunning finish, they emerged triumphant, not only retaining the TNA titles but also claiming the NXT belts for themselves. This victory set the stage for an epic showdown, as The Hardys are now set to face off against the legendary Dudley Boys in one final, adrenaline-pumping tables match. (Bound for Glory)

Women’s Survivor Series match — Jordyann Grace is the guest ref. Kelani Jordan/Mara Sade/The Inspiration(the Iconics), Lola Vice/Jiada Parker/Sol Ruca/Jacy Jade. Survivor Series rules apply: count-out, pinfall, submission, and disqualification. You win the match when the other team has been completely eliminated. To this point, no eliminations. Jaida Parker has been eliminated. Sol takes out Sade. Teams are even at 3 members each. Cassie Lee was eliminated by Lola. Jessie was eliminated. It’s down to 3 on 1. Kelani just took out Lola Vice. Jacey tagged herself in off the Soul Snatcher to make the pin. Jacey/Sol were the only 2 left on team NXT. The Universe kept calling Kelani a traitor.

(My understanding is that Tony D’Angelo is taking some much-needed time away. Chatter is that upon returning, he could go straight to WWE.)

Mustafa Ali is facing Ethan Page for the North American title. This will get ugly. From what I remember of Mustafa being in WWE, he is outstanding and can fly with the best of them. Ali is making Page work for this. This is a seesaw battle; they just sent Booker and Vic running. Somehow, Mustafa got the cable wrapped around his ankle, taking away his momentum. Once again, Page stopped at nothing to make sure he kept the belt.

It’s time for the Men’s Survivor match with the team from TNA, Frankie/Moose/Mike Santana/Leon, facing the NXT team of Ricky Saints/Trick Williams/Myles Bourne/Ja’von Evans. Frankie eliminated Myles. This happened pretty fast. Not sure that this will end well for NXT. Ja’von Evans was taken out by Leon. NXT 2 with TNA 4. Ricky Saints is trying to find a tag, and Trick has walked away. Saints eliminated Frankie. Ricky just took out Leon. It took a combination of Mike Santana working with Moose to get the final win of the night.

RAW in Dallas

After tonight, the crew will board the planes to Perth, Australia

There is a show scheduled for Melbourne on the 15th of October

Joe and Wade are once again at the announcer’s desk, with Alicia Taylor taking care of ring announcing duties.

Roman is on his way to the ring. Not sure what he wants to chat about. Roman is letting the Universe greet him. All Roman said was “Acknowledge me”, when Bronson Reed, along with Paul Heyman, walked out. I can see this becoming a match at Crown Jewel. Bronson is from Adelaide. He missed the last Australia show due to a broken ankle. OMG, an Australian Street Fight. Roman accepted.

Becky Lynch is on her way to the ring for a match with Maxxine Dupre. The Women’s Intercontinental Title is not on the line. Maxxine is trying her best to hold her own. You can see how much Maxxine has improved. This has been a great match to open the show. That was brilliant. Becky has gotten in Jess’s face(ref) a few times throughout the match, but it would be Maxxine/Jess with the last laugh. Max got herself back in the ring, but Becky was too busy focusing on the Universe when Jess hurried the count, giving Max the win.

Lyria is on her way to the ring with Bayley. Lyria is in singles action against Roxanne. Raquel is at the ring side supporting Roxy. It was basically all Roxy, working on Lyria’s arm to take her out of the match. With help from Raquel, Roxy with the win.

John Cena will face A.J. Styles one more time at Crown Jewel.

CM Punk is in the ring, cutting a promo. L.A. Knight just arrived on the scene. Jey is on the scene now.

Thanks to Asuka, Iyo Sky is facing Kairi Sane in singles action. It’s going to be interesting to see who can pull this win out. I look for Asuka to get involved. That win got stolen thanks to Asuka. The Kabuki Warriors will face Rhea/Iyo at Crown Jewel.

As of Midnight, Santos Escobar will be a free agent.

6-man tag match with Penta/Dragon Lee/A.J. Styles taking on The Judgement Day (Dom, Finn/J.D.) Thanks to the help from Rusev, along with Dirty Dom doing a runner, A.J. Styles/Penta/Dragon Lee with the win.

Tag team action with The Usos facing L.A.Knight/CM Punk. That match was awkward to say the least, Punk/Knight with the win, but it was messy.

See you in Perth for Smackdown

SmackDown in Cincinnati

Booker T has joined Cole at the desk with week with Mark Nash on announcing duties.

Cody Rhodes is on his way to the ring. He barely got 2 sentences out when Paul Heyman interjected. Cody didn’t come alone; Randy Orton showed up. Braun/Bronson showed up with Paul. Randy/Cody in tag action against Braun/Bronson.

Sami Zayne is on his way to the ring for a United States Championship open. Carmelo Hayes is on his way to the ring. The Miz took out Hayes, but here comes Aleister Black. Sami keeps getting that shoulder up. He refuses to go down without a fight. Damien Priest just showed up, the distraction helping Sami get the win. Sami got himself to the back in one piece, but Damien has other thoughts towards Aleister, just putting him through the announce table.

Chelsea/Alba Fire are heading to the ring for tag action against Sol Ruca/Zaria. This will be a good test for Sol/Zaria to see how the crowd reacts. Also, to see how the pressure is. Sol/Zaria for the win.

John Cena’s final match in the WWE is on December 13th

Contract signing between Tiffant Stratton/Stephanie Vaquer. Guila, along with Kiara James, is trying to get Steph to join her stable.

Ja’von Evans is teaming with Rey Fenix against Los Garza. It was a little messy, but it was a good win by Ja’von/Rey. Ja’von needs to be moved up to Samckdown. He is the spark that is needed.

Cody/Randy in tag action facing Bronson/Braun. You know that Paul will be at the ringside. With Cody being involved, you know that they will be out to hurt Cody to help Seth as they prepare to head to Perth. I’m not surprised that this broke down; it was inevitable. Well, Seth with a stomp on Randy and a splash by Bronson for the win. Seth will try to go after Cody before Crown Jewel. It works in Seth’s favour. Cody is injured. It would be Cody with the last laugh as Seth tried a stomp, but Cody would turn the tables, hitting a crossroads to take Seth out.

TNA Invasion of NXT

Vic and Booker T are at the announcer’s desk. Mike Rome is on announcing duties as always.

The team will be decided today for the show with NXT facing TNA. It should be interesting with Kelani Jordan, the new TNA Knockouts Champion.

(The only reason I can figure out as to why Oba Femi lost the belt is that he is about to get called up to WWE.)

Ricky Saints in the ring, chatting about beating Oba. Jacey Jade has joined him to talk about the TNA issues. Here comes Ava. Jacey/Ricky will captain for NXT. Mike Santana/Kelani Jordan will captain for TNA. Both teams must be final by the end of the show.

Lash Legand/Jaida Parker in a rematch. Jaida with the win

October 25th is Halloween Havoc

North American Men Champion Ethan Page is in the ring for a chat. Musifia Ali has returned to NXT. Ethan puts the North American title on the line against Musifia Ali.

Myles Bourne is going to war with Josh Briggs. You know that Josh will do anything and everything to get the win at all costs. (FYI – Myles is dating Stephanie Vaquer) Give an assist to Matt Cardone for stopping Josh from using the chain on Myles.

Lola Vice is facing Fallon Henley for the final spot on team NXT. Lola knocks out Fallon for the win.

Tag Team match time with Ja’von Evans/Leon Slater(TNA), taking on Shawn Spears/Niko Vance from The Culling. They took out Ja’von, so Leon could not make a tag to Evans. Ja’von Evans has turned into a one-man wrecking crew. OMG, bodies were flying everywhere, no one was safe, not even Booker T and Vic.

Teams are about to be announced — NXT Men’s Team — Ricky/Trick/Myles/Ja’von. TNA Men’s Team with Mike Santana/Frankie/Moose/Leon. NXT Women’s Team — Sol Ruca/Jiada Parker/Lola Vice. Women’s TNA Ladies Team — The Inspiration(formally known as The Iconics), Mara Sade (Jakara Jackson in NXT)

They announced the teams, and no one is safe; all hell has broken loose.

RAW in North Carolina.

12 days out from Crown Jewel in Perth.

Joe and Wade are at the announcer’s desk with Alicia Taylor taking care of the ring announcing duties.

Rhea is on her way to the ring, and boy, is she ticked off. Iyo is joining Rhea in the ring. (have been reading that Iyo/Rhea will join forces as a tag team. They should meet during Crown Jewel. )This makes Kairi a heel also.

Rusev is on his way to the ring to face Dirty Dom for the Men’s Intercontinental Title. Needless to say, there was no title change, Dirty Don as usual.

Bayley is in singles action against Raquel, but Roxy is at ringside. Well, Roxy got involved as I knew she would, helping Raquel get the win. Lyria came out to try to help Bayley. The 2-personality storyline with Bayley is strange.

L.A. Knight is on his way to the ring for singles action against Kofi Kingston. Xavier tried to help Kofi, but it was Knight who ultimately secured the win.

Maxxine was with Akira Towaza when Becky Lynch, out of nowhere, decided to take out Max. No clue as to why.

Seth Rollins is on his way to the ring. Cutting a promo about his match with Cody at Crown Jewel. Seth got mid-sentence, and here comes Cody.

A.J. Styles (Styles has announced that he will retire in 2026) is on his way to the ring for some tag team action, and joining him is Dragon Lee. They are facing Los El Grande Americano (Pete Dunn/Tyler Bait). At Crown Jewel, A.J. is facing John Cane. El Grande Americano is at ringside. Finally, Dragon Lee/Styles get the win, even with all the funny business.

Tornado Tag match with The Usos facing Braun/Bron from The Vision. Everyone is legal. Just as Bron/Braun tried to take out The Usos, Roman showed up, and he had a chair. With an assist from Roman, the Twins get the win. This post-match beatdown is well deserved towards The Vision.

Next Monday from Dallas.

No Mercy in Orlando

Jazmyn Nyx has chosen not to renew her contract, and she has left the company.

Kelani Jordan is your new TNA Knockouts champion.

Vic and Booker T are at the announcer’s desk with Mike Rome, looking after the ring announcing duties.

The opening match showcases an exciting clash between Ja’von Evans and Josh Briggs in singles competition. This marks Ja’von’s second appearance, as he battled Sami Zayn on SmackDown last Friday in a challenging United States Open match. The atmosphere is electric as the competitors enter the ring, but it quickly takes a darker turn when Josh, embodying the role of the classic bully, begins to dominate the bout. Josh seems determined to put Ja’von on the shelf once again, displaying a level of aggression that catches everyone off guard. He trash-talks throughout the match, growing increasingly frustrated as Ja’von unexpectedly responds with resilience and fire. Just when it seems like Josh has the upper hand, a sudden twist unfolds. In a shocking turn of events, Ja’von pulls off a stunning victory! The pivotal moment happens when Josh, in his eagerness to secure a quick pin, positions Ja’von too close to the ropes. Seizing the opportunity, Ja’von manages to place his foot on the rope, breaking the count just in time. The crowd erupts as he turns the tide and clinches the win, leaving everyone wondering what’s next for this fierce competitor.

Lainey Reid is not medically cleared, and Sol Ruca is still defending the Women’s Speed title. Her opponent is Jaide Parker. Ava announced that anyone can step up to take on Sol for the Speed title. This match has a 5-minute time limit. If there is no winner within the time limit, Sol will keep the title. With 12 seconds left, it was Sol with the win. Sol had a little help from Lash Legend; it’s not clear why Lash was even out there.

Time for a rare match in NXT for the women. It’s a steel cage weapons match between Jordynn Grace and Blake Monroe. This will not be a pretty match. This is any anything goes match. Blake is just an evil character. It took a crash into a table from the top of the cage through a table with Jordynn landing on top to get the pin.

Men’s North American Title is on the line as Tavion Heights goes into battle against the current title holder, Ethan Page. This is getting ugly. Page is vile. Well, this was a wasted space of a match. Nothing new, Page is the bully doing whatever he wants basically to get the win.

The highly anticipated Women’s NXT title match is finally here, featuring Lola Vice going up against Jacy Jade. Currently, Jacy has only Fallon in her corner, and I’m really hoping this is the moment Lola finally claims the championship she has worked so hard for. There have been too many instances where outside interference has marred these matches, and they must remove Fallon from ringside for a fair competition.

After several moments of chaos, the referee eventually ejected Fallon from the ring after she intervened, which halted the count and brought some order back to the match. It’s frustrating because I would love to see Jacy compete without any outside help—no Fallon, no underhanded tactics, just a straightforward match. I even suspect that it was Fallon, dressed in black, who attempted to take out Lola on Jacy’s behalf, further complicating the situation. Despite all this drama and interference, they somehow decided to keep the title on Jacy, which is disappointing for fans rooting for Lola.

Time for the Main Event. Oba Femi is defending the NXT Men’s Title against Ricky Saints. This has been all Oba so far. I can’t see the belt changing hands, but anything is possible. How in the world did Ricky just powerbomb Oba? This is becoming a good match, but not on the level of the Ja’von/Josh match that opened the show. OMG, I am stunned he did it. Ricky Saints just pinned Oba Femi for the NXT Men’s title. This has me wondering if Oba is about to get a call-up to WWE?

SmackDown in Orlando, Florida

Michael Cole is at the desk, and joining him is Booker T. Mark Nash is looking after the ring announcing duties. (Corey is off due to the altercation with Brock last week.)

Even though it’s SmackDown, Paul Heyman is on SmackDown, and he used Cody’s phrase “So, what do you want to talk about?” Cody has had enough and is on his way to the ring. Cody is wearing his Crown Jewel ring that he received last year for winning the first Crown Jewel Champion vs Champion match. The goons have shown up, Braun/Bron. The numbers game has gone against Cody, trying to hurt Cody before Crown Jewel, but here comes some help in the form of Randy Orton. Cody made a valid point, “Who is Paul Heyman really loyal to?

WrestleMania returns to Las Vegas in 2026

The #1 Contenders match has the Street Profits (returned to “We want the Smoke) facing Melow don’t Miz. Thanks to the miscommunication between Carmelo and Miz, Miz gets pinned. Street Profits with the win.

Guilia with Kiana James is heading to the ring for a tag match, facing Michin and her partner B Fab. Kiana/Guilia with the win

Drew McIntyre is on his way to the ring. This should be interesting. Of course, it’s Cody’s fault because Drew lost. Nick Aldis is on the run, talking to Drew. I never noticed that Drew was wearing a moon boot. Jacob Fatu’s music just started, shutting up Drew in mid-sentence. Jacob just stripped Drew of the moon boot and used it against him.

Sami has an open challenge tonight. Tonight’s opponent is Ja’von Evans from NXT. Tomorrow night, the opponent at No Mercy is Josh Briggs. This should be a really good match. Needless to say, it was Sami with the win, but it was a hell of a match. Ja’von is not far off from winning a title.

Piper Niven is out with a possible career-ending neck injury. No return date is even being discussed at this time.

Main Event time with a triple threat match with Nia Jax/Jade Cargill/Tiffany Stratton. The winner also goes to Crown Jewel to face Stephanie Vaquer. Jade has been busted open. Tiffany retains the title and will meet Stephanie in Perth at Crown Jewel. I am looking forward to this one.

NXT getting ready for No Mercy

Getting ready for No Mercy on Saturday.

I have been reading that Joe Hendry will be in NXT full-time in 2026.

Vic/Booker T are at the announcer’s desk with Mike Rome taking care of ring announcing duties.

In a high-stakes “Lights Out” match, Lexis King faces off against Miles Bourne in a contest where the rules take a darker turn. This is a no-disqualification match, meaning that anything goes, but to win, a competitor must secure a pinfall inside the ring. As the atmosphere intensifies, the arena is shrouded in near darkness, illuminated only by the flickering emergency lights. The iconic NXT sign casts a dim glow, creating an eerie backdrop for this showdown. With tension building and the sound of a restless crowd, both competitors are geared up for a brutal battle with no limits. The ringside looks like a war has taken place, which it did. Miles gets the win, putting Lexi through a table.

Ethan Page is on his way to the ring. Trevon Heights just double-crossed Ethan for the second time.

Candice LeRae is on her way to the ring. It’s the Number 1 qualifying match to see who will face Sol Ruca at No Mercy for the speed title. Lainey Reed is Candice’s opponent. This is only a 3-minute match. Lainey Reed with a shiny wizard to knock Candace out, taking the win. It will be Lainey Reed to face Sol Ruca at No Mercy for the Speed title.

Jordynne Grace is facing Arianna Grace in singles action.

Blake Monroe is facing Jordynne Grace in a Steel Cage Match at No Mercy.

Jacey Jade is heading to the ring to cut a promo with Lola Vice for their title match at No Mercy. Jacey ran her mouth, and Lola knocked her out

It’s a 6-man tag match with Drak State facing Chase University/Joe Hendry. It’s not going to be a pretty match, but anything can happen. The only thing Dark Street knows how to do is seek and destroy; that’s all that matters to them. Once again, doing anything and everything to take what they think is theirs.

Jazmyn Nyx was found knocked out, with the ref calling for help. Jacey/Fallon think it might have been Lola, but they decided that it was time to drop her, as they considered her the weak link.

**MAIN EVENT –TNA Champion Trick Williams is set to face off against Oba Femi in a highly anticipated match, with both titles on the line. The atmosphere in the arena is electric, as numerous members of the Men’s TNA roster are seated among the audience, eagerly watching the action unfold. Joining Vic and Booker T at the commentary desk is Mike Santana from TNA, adding his insights to the thrilling encounter. Oba has noticeably slimmed down, enhancing his agility and allowing him to navigate the ring with newfound confidence. As the bell rings, it quickly becomes clear that this match is anything but graceful. The tension escalates dramatically when Trick and Mike begin to clash, fueling the already frenzied crowd. The arena reverberates with cheers and gasps, as fans can’t take their eyes off the escalating chaos in the ring. As it stands, Trick proudly holds the TNA title, while Oba prepares for his upcoming showdown against Ricky for the Men’s NXT title this Saturday at No Mercy. The stage is set for an unforgettable night of wrestling action!
