NXT July 22/23

HOLY COW, Keith Lee is giving up the North American title so he can focus on being the NXT Champion. Keith wants to give as many wrestlers as possible the opportunities at winning the North American Title. Keith will keep the NXT Title, defending it as often as he possibly can. Starting on tonight’s show there will be a series of triple threat matches (tonight is Roderick Strong/Johnny Gargano/Bronson Reed) to determine who will reach the ladder match on August 22 at NXT: Takeover 30.

It’s a hell of a triple threat match, Johnny/Rodrick have taken Bronson out of the match for now and are going full tilt. OMG out of no where Bronson Reed with a splash off the top rope to take the win.

Dexter Lumis on his way (the dude is creepy but can he wrestle) can he handle Killian Dain. Dexter has to have a high tolerance for the pain the way he was taking those hits. I have no idea how Dexter got Killian in his hold to take him out but Dexter with the win.

Recapping Tegan Nox against Io Shirai from their title match when Dakota Kai showed up.

Ever Ride facing off against Breezango in tag team action. Breezango with an impressive win.

Aliyah/Robert Stone (in a walking boot) in tow facing Shotzi Blackheart. Robert interfering, as usual, trying to help Aliyah. Shotzi gets some payback in that match, also giving Robert a little bit of payback also. Mercedes Martinez signed with Robert Stone.

Timothy Thatcher facing Oney Lorcan in a rematch. Oney had to tap out the last match. This is painful to watch, hoping Oney can get the win this time. Thatcher steals the win, holding the tights, which no one saw. This feud is not over by any means.

Finn Balor/Dexter Lumis/Timothy Thatcher in next weeks qualifying match for the North American Title.

The Main Event tonight is Karrion Kross/Scarlett (dude is weird) facing Dominik Dijakovic (I am such a Dom fan, I hope he gets a triple threat match. Dominik is holding his own so far. Karrion is pure evil, Dom could not nothing, he begged Keith NOT to stop the match. the man is scary, somehow someway Karrion needs to be stopped.
